I have been reading content here for about a month but haven’t posted yet. I have been reading a lot of “first cycle” logs and enjoy the feedback everyone gives. I am looking for some similar feedback….
Am I ready for a cycle?
Dosing recommendations based on my goals and current bloodwork?
Am I thinking too small on my PED plan or is that appropriate?
Other suggestions?

I am wanting to do kind of a “baby cycle” “TRT Plus” type cycle just because I am new to this. I responded very well to just TRT over the last 10 months and made great gains but have started to kind of stall on my progress. I just did a mini cut for 5 weeks and then a deload for a week. I feel like I am in a good place to start bulking.


Stats
Age 39
200lbs
Estimating 11-12% body fat (not sure will attach photos)
Lifting on and off for 20 years
Been very consistent for 2 years
Goal- Bulk- Gain lean muscle.

Currently on TRT at 175mg/week Daily dosing
Been on TRT at 140mg-175mg for 10 months

At 175mg/week daily dosing
Total test 1258 ng/dl
Free test 302 pg/ml
SHBG 37
Estrodial(standard) 64 pg/ml

Hematocrit, lipids, liver,kidney markers all good and within range. A1C and fasting glucose both within range.

Estrodial seems kind of high but I have no symptoms of high E2 and this was a standard test. I plan to get a sensitive test soon.

PED (plan)
I want to bump the testosterone up a little bit and find the upper limit I can tolerate without an AI. My E2 is already a little high but haven’t taken a sensitive test and never had any symptoms of high E2. I also just ordered some Primo and was wanting to incorporate that at a low dose to start and get bloods to see where I am at.

***should I just bump Test to start? Not sure if I am adding too many variables at once?Should I go to 200 to start or jump up to 250?

My plan was to run this cycle for 4 months. Maybe get bloods at 2 months. Reasses from there….?

220 grams of elk meat or chicken breast
Salad with Olive Garden light dressing

Meal 4
Greek yogurt plain
Granola
Honey
Berries

Meal 5 Dinner
White rice or potatoes
Chicken or elk meat
Some type of vegetable

Training
Push/Pull/Legs/Rest/Upper/Lower/Rest Repeat
Try to progressively overload and train to failure or close to it. I will post specific exercises and weights reps as I continue on this.

You are in great shape already, your bloods are fine.
A full panel before starting any cycle would be a good idea to get baselines on lipids, blood counts etc.

Honestly 250 test 100 primo is something that really you can likely run year round, if you go straight to 250 test there is a likelihood you are going to start flirting with high e2, the good thing is primo modulates this - and to be honest at 100mg a week thats about all it will do.

If you are looking to cycle and make some real gains and get the most out of primo, I would stick with your plan of finding your ceiling with test and then running primo at a 1;1 level, to control e2 and assess whether you go up from there.

Primo really starts to shine at 400mg a week, but if you go adding that to 200 test your going to feel shit more than likely.

Slowly titrating up together will keep your e2 in balance.

Test and Primo are pretty mild and if you monitor bloods you will see that the impact is quite low even though the dosages may be considerably higher.

Thanks for the reply and info! That all sounds great. I did get a current blood panel and everything is within range. Lipids were alright and blood counts look good. LDL was 135 but always ranges 100-135 without being on anything. Hematocrit has stayed at 50 the whole time on TRT.

@Lee567 I can't see any reason why you wouldn't be ready to run a cycle as long as you're confident in what your plan is and you're healthy and ready to go. Then go for it.

You can do a simple cycle like some testosterone and an oral steroid. @Lee567 that would work perfectly fine for you in your situation. You don't have to get all fancy.

@Lee567 there's also such a thing as overthinking things. At the end of the day if you're that concerned then get blood work done on cycle and see where your numbers are at. It is smart to be worried about estrogen and hematocrit because those can lead to stroke if you let them get too much out of hand. You don't want thickening blood and you don't want water retention. That's not good for the heart.

The podcasts are a wealth of information. They go over not just interviews with people but they also touch upon different ways to use the steroids. At the end of the day you've got the knowledge at your fingertips.

I think you look fantastic already. I can't imagine what you will look like after a couple of cycles.

Apart from TRT have you any previous PED experience?
No I have never used PEDs. (Other than prescribed test cyp for last 10
Months) I have wanted to for decades but was always prioritizing fertility and having kids. I have three kids now and am done so got bloods tested and was at 222 total test so got on TRT. I put on about 15lbs of scale weight over the ten months on trt. I feel like I responded pretty well but have started to plateau and just want to bump anabolic up to keep progress moving forward.

Estrodial(standard) 64 pg/ml

Hematocrit, lipids, liver,kidney markers all good and within range. A1C and fasting glucose both within range.

Estrodial seems kind of high but I have no symptoms of high E2 and this was a standard test. I plan to get a sensitive test soon.

PED (plan)
I want to bump the testosterone up a little bit and find the upper limit I can tolerate without an AI. My E2 is already a little high but haven’t taken a sensitive test and never had any symptoms of high E2. I also just ordered some Primo and was wanting to incorporate that at a low dose to start and get bloods to see where I am at.

Primo 100mg/week Daily Dosing
***should I just bump Test to start? Not sure if I am adding too many variables at once?Should I go to 200 to start or jump up to 250?

My plan was to run this cycle for 4 months. Maybe get bloods at 2 months. Reasses from there….?

I feel like my diet is pretty dialed but open to suggestions.

Protien 250grm
Fat 75grams
Carbs 425grams

Meal 1 Breakfast
2 slices homemade sourdough bread
6 eggs

Meal 2 Snack
Whey protien
Banana
Rice cake

Meal 3
2 cups white rice
220 grams of elk meat or chicken breast
Salad with Olive Garden light dressing

Meal 4
Greek yogurt plain
Granola
Honey
Berries

Meal 5 Dinner
White rice or potatoes
Chicken or elk meat
Some type of vegetable

Training
Push/Pull/Legs/Rest/Upper/Lower/Rest Repeat
Try to progressively overload and train to failure or close to it. I will post specific exercises and weights reps as I continue on this.

Am I missing detail for my first log? Let me know.

I have been reading content here for about a month but haven’t posted yet. I have been reading a lot of “first cycle” logs and enjoy the feedback everyone gives. I am looking for some similar feedback….
Am I ready for a cycle?
Dosing recommendations based on my goals and current bloodwork?
Am I thinking too small on my PED plan or is that appropriate?
Other suggestions?

I am wanting to do kind of a “baby cycle” “TRT Plus” type cycle just because I am new to this. I responded very well to just TRT over the last 10 months and made great gains but have started to kind of stall on my progress. I just did a mini cut for 5 weeks and then a deload for a week. I feel like I am in a good place to start bulking.


Stats
Age 39
200lbs
Estimating 11-12% body fat (not sure will attach photos)
Lifting on and off for 20 years
Been very consistent for 2 years
Goal- Bulk- Gain lean muscle.

Currently on TRT at 175mg/week Daily dosing
Been on TRT at 140mg-175mg for 10 months

At 175mg/week daily dosing
Total test 1258 ng/dl
Free test 302 pg/ml
