Fish oil dosage

So I have the muscletech platinum fish oil which contains 1000mg of fish oil and 300mg epa\dha combined. Directions say to consume one pill a day and on forum I see recommendation of 2-3g epa\dha. directions also say do not exceed one pill a day so what are your recommendations?

There is actually no set standard for how much omega 3s you should be having on a daily basis but by looking at the current data the dosage ranges from 300mg up to 3000mg.
So bascially that 1 pill should be just enough but personally I would probably go for two just in case.

And then you also have to take into consideration individual differences. Some people simply need less to get the same benefit.

1 pill per day will do nothing for you what so ever.

I recommend 6-10 for men. 4-6 for women

Wow, that product is absolutely horrible. You should be able to get 800mg of EPA/DHA per pill, not 300. With your product, you would need to dose a minimum of 10 pills per day to get what you need. That is bare minimum too. I get my fish oil from Costco.

I take a capsule a day of krill oil. Works for me.
