How much fish oil and which kind are best to take ? I was looking to buy some but they had a few different options.

Read the recommended dose on label. Any quality fish oil. I get mine at coscto and/or sprouts.

Purchase whichever fish oil has the most EPA and DHA per serving. You want to see at least 180mg EPA and 120mg DHA per capsule.

I like the progressive liquid fish oil, high EPA and DHA concentration, its an acquired taste but I don’t mind it. Comes in different flavours too to make it easier to consume.

Just go with Costco's fish oil. It's same goddamned thing for one hell of a lot less money. It might even better.
