GNC supplement store products

Guys,

I read a lot of you shitting on the products that are sold at GNC and maybe I don't understand the products well enough to know why. I really would like to hear from you what you guys think makes the products sold at GNC so inferior to the stuff you guys find online.

Sometimes you can get decent deals on protein or fiber or stuff like that but their formulas are bullcrap. Weak formulas that don't do much and are sold very expensive for what you are actually getting.

Poor quality for an expensive retail price.

they have some good products, some shit. it depends on the company making it, not that its sold at gnc

GNC products are not bad. However, they don't even nearly excuse the high prices they have. For this kind of prices you can get much better products. So it leads to the logical question - why would you buy something of lower quality for the same price?

GNC is a large multi billion dollar company who markets to teenagers and amateurish fitness people who don't know any better.

I would not want to be caught dead in that fucking place, it would be an embarrassment. maybe if I had to take a shit and there weren't any other stores nearby you would find me in that place out of necessity. but otherwise it won't happen.

their products are hyped up and over priced. full of fillers and poor quality.

the main problem is their CEO is probably some fat dude in a suit who has business sense, but has no clue about anything fitness related. when you have that sort of situation then how would he know the difference between good and bad supplements?

compare this to a company like NTBM that have reps and owners who actually lift and live the lifestyle. molding supplements that actually work and have quality ingredients..

would you rather have stevia or aspartame in a supplement? if you answered "I dunno the difference" then GNC wants you as a customer because that is how they make their money. off ignorant consumers

Their products aren't necessarily bad, just very over priced and usually under dosed for what you are paying.

GNC is a multi-million dollar company that markets toward the average uneducated consumer. The middle age house wife or businessman looking to drop a few pounds. Their first priority is fancy marketing and a 'sellable' product. GNC spends a lot of money on marketing. Remember that you aren't just paying for the supplement, but also everything that goes behind it - the marketing, advertisements, CEO's large salaries etc.

Compare this to a company like n2bm.com who markets to a very educated consumer. n2bm.com spends almost no money on marketing. You are paying for the supplements primary, and not marketing, advertising, huge corporate salaries etc.

there is a pic of the CEO of gnc. does this dude even look like he lifts? probably spends more time on the golf course per day then he sets foot into a gym per year

now I have nothing personal against this guy, however his job is not to help you reach your goals; his only job is to make money for his company.. he doesn't give a rats ass about putting out quality products at good prices. its not just GNC, its just about every supplement company out there. they don't care about keeping customers long term, they know all the money they spend on advertising will keep naïve teens coming in no matter what

GNC products are way over priced, I live in a BIG city & they charge sometimes triple of what the Vitamin Shoppe charges. It's a joke, the employees have a commission structure so they'll tell you everything is good.

You're basically buying a tub full of fillers, it's disgusting

I havent had a chance to look. Dont know if Evo has supp sponsors. But you can usually order better quality supps online for a alot cheaper than gnc. Its usually someone who doesnt even lift being very pushy working there. Makes me not even ant to walk in.

Just went there yesterday cuz I needed some protein, and I was told I needed a damn membership card to get the special price which was still high. So ended up going to costco and bought double the amount for same price. Lol
