high caffeine preworkout

if i take 400-500mgs of caffeine pre workout how likely is this to replace synephrine or other preworkouts? like just caffeine alone
 
500 mgs of caffeine before working out? I would be running on the ceiling of the gym with such a dosage!

There are pre-workout drinks with 400 mg caffeine. I've tried them. Honestly, a little caffeine does the same thing and you're better off getting a high dosage of carnosyn beta alanine, citrulline, and betaine. Those five the best pumps. Check out Hit Supplements "Peak Perform"
 
That amount of caffeine is extremely counter-productive. Caffeine inhibits blood flow to your muscles. It will also sky rocket cortisol levels. You will probably feel really jittery and sick during your workout. Caffeine is very hard on the adrenal glands and abusing it long term is a sure way to get adrenal fatigue.

Look into the pre-workout D-spark. It contains no stimulants. It provides a clean, cognitive energy boost with no crash or jittery feeling. You could stack it with a sensible amount of caffeine (100-200mg) or a cup of coffee. I would also add a B100 vitamin to it.

If he is taking 500mg caffeine he probably built a tolerance over time which means 500mg to him feels like 100mg.

All you are doing is putting your stim tolerance through the roof while damaging your adrenals, give your self a break till your tolerance goes down. Then you can use it freely but once you build your way back top 400mg stop. If 400mg doesn't do the trick then you need more time off.

I think 400mg is max "safe" dose set by the FDA. One guy mentioned they have energy drinks with over 400mg per can.

Just be careful, don't let 500mg turn into 700mg. Sounds like you're already dependent on the stuff.

that is alot but some large coffees have over 400 mg. like per say a large dd coffee with turbro shot has over 420 mg. he probably has a high tolerance
 
400mg caffeine has been proven to increase strength in athletes. I would never go above 400 though. It raises cortisol (stress hormone) levels and it's also a vasoconstrictor (it inhibits blood flow). Try Yohimbe pre-wo if you want a stimulant-free boost
 
I take 500mg caffeine pills. Havent had any problems. Aldo been adding ephedrine. Some people tolerate stimulants better than others.
