Currently on my first cycle of osta 25mg a day and lgd 5mg a day. Results have been great. Problem is, I'm 5 weeks from my PL meet and I'm already 4# above my weight class. I can cut 5-6# in water weight easily, but since I'm gaining about 1# a week, I might have to lose more weight then that? My question is, can I cut out the lgd for a week at the end of prep to lose some of the extra water weight, get back on before meet day, and not lose strength? Does the buildup of the lgd in the system help, or could I stop taking during my deload and restart a couple days before the actual meet, since I start deload 10 days out. Or am I better off cutting down calories now, to lessen the weight gain? Just want to take the course that leads to the most strength, but keeps me from having to jump up a weight class. Thanks!
 
You are better cutting down calories now to lessen the weight. LGD and ostarine will cause very minimal water retention. The weight gain you are experiencing is most likely muscle tissue - NOT water.

Keep dosing the LGD and ostarine as you are now but slightly lower your calories so you stop gaining weight.
 
It is not a good idea to jump on and off a compound - the levels of the active substance will be fluctuating too much, which is not good for your gains or your health. Makes much more sense to decrease the calorie intake, and perhaps add some Cardarine GW to the cycle - it will add hardness to the muscles, and will maintain the lean mass even if you will drastically decrease the calorie intake.
