Dont use muscletech pre workout their product all most same except their name i used ....absolute bullshit dont use pre work out black coffee bcaa and creatine mono is a good pre workout...when you discontunue prework out then your power will be discontine....dont use that

This is yet another stim-stuffed preworkout supplement - there is nothing special about it, so I would not even bother with it. There are much better alternatives than all those stims. For example, a good meal an hour before training is already a good preworkout that will give plenty of energy. Also, you might consider using such non-stim preworkout supplements as DSpark. Think about it, because on the long run all those stims are not effective, and they are definitely not good for one's health.
 
Pre-workouts whatever brand they maybe are mostly loaded with stimulants which are addictive and do more harm than good, muscle tech no exception to this.
Stimulants are harsh to the CNS, they will burnt out ur adrenal cortex and spike ur cortisol - not to mention the sudden crash u would feel post there use.
A good carb and protein meal an hour before workout and a cup of coffee will give you much better energy and pumps in the gym for sure.

i agree completely.

another problem which is major is they will fuck with your sleep. people do not realize caffeine has a much longer half and active life then they believe. so lets say you work out at 3pm and take a pre workout. that caffeine will be in your system when you drop your head on your pillow for sure. this means you will not be able to get into stage 3 or 4 sleep, that is where the recovery and healing actually takes place.

i bet that people who abuse stims have a longer recovery time and are more prone to nagging injuries for this simple reason. not good

I have been going with eggs or egg whites and oatmeal for quite some time now. It has never let me down and is much cheaper than buying these powdered pre workout drinks. The supplement companies have you thinking that these products are necessities for training. It is actually the complete opposite.....they actually hinder your results.

Remember that these mainstream supplement companies are sales and marketing machines!
 
I have used preworkouts for quite extended amount of time and to be honest they started not to work anymore as much as they did in the beginning. A good vibe with music and a legit meal is a much better choice and drive for it.
 
All these pre-workout supplements are pretty much the exact same thing. It's basically a flavoured caffeine drink with maybe some amino acids and creatine thrown in. It's nothing magical.

What I do for a pre-workout is drink a cup of black coffee, take a creatine supplement (ancient strength from n2bm.com) and take a b100 vitamin. It gives me a nice boost before my workout with no crash and it's less then half the price of any pre-workout supplement.
 
Have a decent balanced meal 2 hours prior.

Have a cup of coffee pre and/or during your workout

Thats it.

Everything else is bullshit.
