Cardio is really nice. 25 minutes is solid. Maybe you can try doing more high intensity shorter cardio if your feet are bothering you. You don't want to feel numbness. @Shakey
Yea, it was only one day so im assuming just a light nerve compression in back. Feet used to be numb all the time from my back a few years ago. No problems after resting for bit. Was most likely from shoveling snow earlier that day, i think.

Try not to do cardio on a hard surface, and make sure you run with some high-quality shoes with cushioning.

New running shoes are in the works. Mine are approx 12 years old. Lol Just havent got around to looking yet.
Yeah, in the meantime, you're better off running barefoot.

Bros, you're definitely the champion on this. The cardio looking the best. I like the pushing training. @Shakey that's what we like to see.

Wow, never heard of anything like that. We bitch about prices and there hurting people but they haven't done anything like that here. I take all that is in cost to get it there?
Yeah, 31% are reporting food insecurity and around 25% of those food insecure people use food banks. The food banks are reporting min 30% increases year-over-over the last 3 years atleast.

No it's because there's a grocery store oligopoly at play up here and they price fix. Four large corporations own all the different grocery stores and work together to keep prices high.

They actually got caught doing it a few years back and had to pay government fines but nothing changed after.

no gym i fine but how bad is the pinch?

I mess up my back almost everytime I shovel. Start rushing and form suffers lol.

This is a bad winter for snow. We're getting pummeled
With that damn ice storm we just got, the end of my driveway was just a solid bank of ice from the plow. I spent over an hour on a 1 car driveway, most of which was chipping ice.

Atleast i had my spud bar. Lol

Haha put that bar to good use when you're not fishn.

I live on an inside bank corner so the plow really fucks me LOL

Bros, dips are really good. Try adding some weight to it. The most I ever added was 150 pounds and I got 5.
Lol I can barely do bodyweight haha
Im gunna run to failure, then add negatives to 10 total. Wait til i can hit 10 or 12 without negs, ill get a belt to add weight.
Same with pull ups, topping off with negs til i can hit full sets.

I actually only speedwalk. Running is off the table, i can feel the impact in my back immediately. But i can try speed walking sockfoot, i dont think the gym will allow barefoot, someones bound to complain.
Yeah, definitely running is brutal because it's very high impact and it runs up and down the body when you hit the ground.

Man between BPC, consistent cardio plus some rest over the holidays, i just did a full 55mins no knee discomfort, did an extra 25 on top. Mad improvement from discomfort at 20min. Haha
that is great to hear, but don't overdo it. Something with the knees is something you have to work out around for the rest of your life, it sounds like.

Yeah i usually go til my gait alters, but ive decided ill go into discomfort a little then call it. I was burning out doing 2hrs before lifting lol
I'm glad you posted this. How many people out there have good knees and good joints, and they don't even bother to exercise at all? Here you are with bad joints, and you're busting your ass. That just shows you how human nature is

Yeah mines been bad for a long time, and as long as bpc keeps the inflammation down and my knees respond to cardio. Ill keep pushing myself until as much as possible.

Gotta break my limits.

Yeah, that is also cool that you have access to these healing peptides. These were not around back in my day.

Deffinitely. My cardio during previous cut was a nightmare.
You'll have to do some stationary cardio
like some Pilates or yoga this way that doesn't put pressure on your joints.
Pounding on cement by running on a sidewalk or running on a treadmill is not good for your joints.

Yeah its one of the reasons i dont even touch flat treadmill, incline only. I find incline to reduce impact felt in spine.
I need new shoes aswell.

Yeah, you need new shoes. Definitely get good quality shoes. Don't be buying cheap ones for $15. Invest in some quality ones and cycle them out.

Im deff using 12 year old $30cad shoes at the moment. Haha
when I was a teenager, I used old shoes that belonged to my grandpa. I ended up getting really bad shin splints and foot problems. The guy at the shoe store explained to me that you should always invest in good quality shoes with support when you go running. I learned my lesson the hard way.

Started getting sore feet recently too.
Ill keep my eye open for something reasonable.

You don't have a Nike outlet store or something, or maybe you can order some online. The key with those Nike shoes is you don't get them when they first come out. You wait a year, and then the price drops by 60-70%.

I have nikes actually, i think i got em clearance way back because im shoe size 13. But they are worn out.

Prob just check online for something.

Update

Last back day i started with pull ups. i got some pain in my 2 upper abs after workout, figured i just never really hit those 2 before decently atleast. Pull ups today same thing but during exercise. Sharp pain at bottom of rep during full stretch and initial movement through about halfway or so of rep. No pain flexing or pressing it in anyway or at rest or any other exercise or activity, even on the ab crunch machine on push day.

So i imagine its a muscle strain, since i didnt even notice it all week and its only during pull ups. Will pin BPC locally to strain for now.

Will be removing pull ups, lat pull downs, bent over rows and ab focused exercises for now to let it heal. Lat exercises will consist of seated and chest supported rows. Will resume at a later date with partial pull up reps and progressively deeper stretch in the reps over time.

Update:
Gym consistency has been spotty last week, mostly due to having to shovel so much damn snow and my back. Will get back on track with a Torso day on sun. Diets been iffy for a couple days, but ill fix that tomorrow. Todays wasnt good and i had to fight to get through last meal cause i wasnt hungry

Even though its a week earlier than planned, i raised reta to 2mg. Other than first doses weak and barely noticable nausea for maybe 16hrs, theres been none. Was about the same level with 2mg.

Also forgot hip abd/add machine today, will add to routine notes and ill be adding forearms back in, neglected them last 2 legs days.

Looks like a solid workout to me. Good volume for the legs. Shoveling snow this year has been a workout in itself so I'd say you're finding a good balance here.

Ive actually started shoveling ambidextrously. Switching back and forth to equalize the strain on my back. Its wotking better than i thought, but its super weird when starting. Lol

Apparently it says we've gotten 22" in the last 5 days, but i think that estimate is on the low side.

Yea I switch up sides too. It is very weird. Changing grips with your bottom hand helps too.

Its not just the falling snow. The winds were crazy last week and blowing a lot of snow back onto the driveways and walkways. I was working out in Elmvale on Wednesday and the shut down non essential travel cuz of the white outs. That was a sketchy drive

I bet it was sketchy. Earlier in the week the signs they put up to close the highways blew away so there were accidents on the closed sections cause no one could tell.

Holy @HarleyGuy , had like 100 notifications. Lol
Thanks bud. Was the same with regularity. Was it you who recommended Yogti Organic Husk? I started getting that, even though it was like $5 bucks more, because i never took into account actual husk per scoop vs metamucil. Works out to be way cheaper per gram of husk.

Hahahahah, atherly arms, the fuckin first bro. After they lost their liquor licence for selling blow, they started selling breakfast. You could get the hungryman breaky while watchin the old leather on stage. Lol

Ill put some up when ive made some good progress, im down about 17lbs from start but only about 7lbs since i started logging.

I always tell members to get raw organic actual husk. I find there's a huge difference vs. Metamucil. One time I was out and had to use Metamucil and it was shit. It stuck to the glass and didn't go down well at all it was crap. You can feel the difference with raw organic husk too.

It does stir in as good, but it also doesnt stick near as much to the cup. I also mix milk thistle powder in with it. The husk covers up the hideous taste of milk thistle. Lol

Damn straight. Dont forget that a dentist and bouncer got in a fight, bouncer one punched the dentist and he died in hospital. He got off the manslaughter charge due to conflicting drunk witness statements.

With the amount I thought i was being scolded for my diet last few days. Lol. I follow both yours and @BeMe . I read most of em.

Yea it was full white out for a second or two here and there passing the farm fields. Took me way longer to get up then back cuz the 400 had a big section that was closed north of Barrie

With your back issue and for recovery I'd get GLOW like you're thinking and up the BPC dose to 500mcg if it's in your budget. I'm currently running 1000mcg of BPC with my KLOW blend.

Update:
I will be adjusting my supps as acid reflux has been getting worse. Been progressively getting worse for a couple years, but i believe between Reta and my supp list theres too many things aggravating it as of late. So ill dial back the supps to see. Also starting to take some Pepcid(famotidine) twice daily to help.

Been meaning to talk to my Doc for a year or so about GERD from smoking.

Ill be cutting out
Pre-Workout (will look at some stim free options)
Digest Enzymes (will reintroduce at some point)
Green Tea Extract
Caffeine

Starting split dosing
Fish oils am/pm

I had GERD too back when I was a smoker. Had to do an endoscopy and they put me on some pills for a while.

Mainly I just needed to change my diet and remove acidic foods. Quitting smoking helped a ton too.

Have you tried drinking some baking soda 1/3 tsp mixed with a shake or cup of water. Or apple cider vinegar with the mother, 1 tbsp in a glass of warm water? Both help me pretty good. Pepcid is my last go to if things get really bad.

I read online apple cider vinegar makes it worse? Havent really tried anything til i bought pepcid and tums today.

Ive honestly just left it and never bothered with it. I tend to put off going to doctors. Lol

My biggest issue is empty stomache, thats when reflux hits, that and if i bend over to fast.

Maybe ill try the soda thing. Did you do it during reflux or preventative? And what is "the mother" mean? Lol

Nice workout I actually like the ab crunch machine a lot because you can load up the weight and it's better than a bodyweight crunch.

For the GERD you can try ginger either in supplement or a strong ginger tea. My sister has it and she doesn't smoke and believe it or not bananas helped her.

I was going to get KLOW but fell short $$, so ill make do with GLOW.
Id run GLOW in am, with extra BPC pm. Most likely.
This sounds like a plan GLOW is g2g and the extra BPC you can't lose.
Ill be cutting out

Good. Do you feel you need a pre-workout?
Digest Enzymes (will reintroduce at some point)
I'm not sure if this is a good idea. They won't help with GERD but they shouldn't make it worse either so why cut them out? If anything the added help with digestion and food sitting stagnant too long could help in creating less acidity. Not really proven but I don't see why to cut out digestive enzymes when digestion is still something you want to optimize with or without GERD.

Same, i kept angling the ab bench steeper and steeper by stacking plates under it. Then i tried the crunch machine and it didnt put as much load on my back..

Perhaps ill look into ginger. Ill get some bananas to try for when i get reflux.

Yeah, it's been shipped, but i went through a grey vendor instead. So ill be getting testing done myself. I can imagine the scolding ill get on here. I found a lab in alberta thatll handle private samples.

Id go janoshik, but staying domestic for testing is just cheaper.

Not really i suppose, though its a good motivator.

I put my supp list in chatgpt, and i cut out most things it said to for now.
It said cut the enzymes, and reintroduce in am when symptoms lessen, to see how much effect they had.
