Preworkout recommendation

I was at the gym pretty tired today since it was a long day. I usually go to the gym in the mornings before work but I decided to try an evening workout. Man that was tough, maybe I just wasn't used to it. I'm considering buying a preworkout just incase my schedule changes and I have to do evening workouts. Any recommendations?
 
So it can be a double-edged sword. I do my workouts in the evening after work as well, and I use a preworkout with caffeine and beta alanine (stims), because I'm usually pretty tired from the day. This does help me really pick it up for my workouts, but it also negatively affects my ability to fall asleep afterwards (which is terrible for recovery). Therefore, I'm not sure I can recommend using a preworkout at night without reservations.

It'd be a real bad idea to use any stim based product in the evening.
 
now you are disrupting your sleep which will make you MORE tired the next day and so on. makes no sense

if i knew what you did all day and what you were eating i could make a suggestion to change something. but yeah if you dig ditches all day you are gonna be dead by the evening.
 
If you workout evenings you want to avoid any stimulant based preworkout totally. Then you wont be able to sleep.
 
That happens to me when I switch my workouts up a bit. Your body will get used to it eventually. I don't ever take stims in general. If you can't workout naturally without stims you have a problem.
 
I don't consume caffeine after 2pm to give it at least 8 hours to sleep well as a general rule, and most pre-workouts have stimulants...so I don't use them if I workout in the early evenings. You could make your own "pre-workout" without the stims by using raw ingredients and time them b4 workouts, I'm attempting that bc my gym times vary..
 
You should work on time management, I honestly prefer going to the gym after work.
