Hello

New to the forum and not really sure which section to post this, so apologies ahead of time if I got this wrong.

I am currently on trt at a dosage of 200mg a week, which is divided into every day injections. Reason for the frequent dosage is because i am experiencing mental fatigue ever since i started trt. My initial dosage was 100mg a week and after the first week i started to experience being mentally tired around 11am-12pm. Can’t figure out why and neither can my doctor. I switched to everyday injections and that did alleviate some of the severity of it but still occurs.

For back story I started trt because I was trying to figure out why I wasn’t building muscle as I had everything in check from calories, sleep, protein and training but nothing changed over the course of 5-6 years, my body got to a certain level and stayed there. I decided to check my levels and turns out I was ranging from 190pmol/l to 284pmol/. I always had issues with recovery from workouts or from doing manual labour, i always felt beat up and tired if I did either or both.

Anyone experience something similar to this or have an idea why this could be occurring?

Thank you

welcome to the EVO family :D @GST
Mental fatigue on TRT can be from e2 swing up or down btw, hematocrit spikes, sleep apnea, low ferritin, thyroid issues, or simply calories and carbs being too low for your training, but we can’t pinpoint it from this alone.
200mg weekly ED pins is not a small TRT dose, so you need to confirm what your labs look like at that dose before changing anything again.

Start a TRT log now with your exact ed dose and timing, sleep hours and quality, calories and macros, training sessions, BP, and symptoms, and post your full bloodwork including total T, free T, SHBG, sensitive e2, prolactin, CBC hematocrit, ferritin, thyroid, and lipids so the EVO family can actually dial this in. 15min of your time to start :D just post what you have and we'll add as you go.

HOW-TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?

  • Doing a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
  • Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
  • The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
  • Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
  • Please post a Log Journal asap for us

there's a lot of reasons why you could be feeling this way. A lot of times people think just hopping on TRT fixes everything and it doesn't.

there is a lot that goes into mental well-being than just taking some testosterone. Yes I have experienced this after my wife passed away. I had a lot of mental issues.

unfortunately everybody thinks that testosterone can cure everything mentally or physically and a lot of times they leave themselves disappointed. The truth is it depends; everybody's situation is different.

bros, lots of things could be happening. A lot of us work tough jobs like yours and we still feel good so maybe you need more sleep.
