Problems with injecting

I normally inject my gear but lately I have been having real problems trying to inject without hitting a nerve.
I typically inject in my thigh, or my shoulder. I can't do my Glutes so there's no point in trying that area. It's gotten to the point that I am considering trying to find a nurse that would be willing to inject me (off duty) at a reasonable price but that's a battle in itself just trying to find someone like this. The other problem is I usually inject 500+ ml for each dose but I can only do that in my thigh due the high amount.

Does anybody have any suggestions or recommendations on what's my best recourse of getting around this problem?

Where are you going exactly, when doing Quads ?

I've found the best for me.
Is 2/3rds up from the Knee, half way down from the Top of the Quad, to the Notch at the Biceps Femoris........................... JP
P.S.
Also, what size Needle are you using ?
I use a 25 Gauge x 5/8 ", with either a 1 CC or 3 CC barrel.

I usually inject around 1/3 up from the knee. There's plenty of muscle in the area that I inject it 's just seems that most of the time I hit a nerve going in and it hurts like hell, plus I just like messing with my nerves. The other thing is that when I investigated the area for major nerves and there are none!

I use a 23G x 1" with a 3cc Barrel syringe.

Thanks for your response.

come on man don't waste money hiring someone to do that shit

you should get a 25G needle to make things easier. and there are other places to inject too. have you tried pecs? its a really easy injection and you can see what you are doing

Inject with a 25 or 27 gauge needle needle. The injection will take longer but the needle will just slide in. It will also prevent scar tissue build up.

Try using your traps, lats or chest as an injection site. Really easy sites with very little nerves. Quads can be a tricky injection site but there are very little nerves in your side deltoid. Inject in the dead centre of the side deltoid.

I think you might be injecting too much volume as well. 1.5CC max for smaller muscle groups.

I've tried where you're talking about, it's Helter Skelter at best.
And I would get alot of Bleeding sometimes to.

This is why I moved up, it's the Sweet Spot on the Quads.
And much less chance of Hitting a Nerve.

Also, if you're going to do Delts.
I use a 27 Gauge x 1/2", and it's Painless.

The 23 gauge is a little big for the Shoulder.

Move to either a 25 gauge x 5/8" or 1", and you'll have alot less Injection Issues..................................... JP

25 gauge is a good size for both Quads and Delts, if you didn't want to get the 27 gauge for the Delts.

500 ml for each dose? You do realise thats half a liter?

I would try getting used to glutes, its the best place for injections

I am going to suggest you try the spot JP is referring to or the ventro-glute. That gives you a couple more options. I would definitely go with a smaller needle too. That should definitely get rid of some of the pain. You may not actually be hitting a nerve so the smaller needle might really help.
