Raw Food Diet

The raw food contain 100% the protein and mineral when we cook the meat or veggis loos some protein, vit and some mineral that one of the reason I try to eat my veggis and most of my stuff raw thank you wolf nice inf like always

Great read Wolfy, that's the "real" deal Folks ..Get aboard ...Your a Smart Man, Brother and Friend........AnalogMan

Saw a family on wife swap(yeah i know) that only ate raw meat, no cooked meat. What you think about that? I thought they were psychos.

theres some good documentaries out there about raw eating and the great benefits like "forks over knives" and "fat, sick and nearly dead"

It's a good diet, but, like any new diet, you need to plan it out. Where to purchase your products. In my area, it's easy to do, there's a lot of Restaurants and Purveyors that cater specifically to the Raw Diet............................................................JP
P.S.
I like it because now I don't have to go crazy finding Raw Milk anymore. Once you try it, you'll never, ever want any other kind of Milk.

In my area where I live there a organic supermarket they carry everything 100 natural I love it

Awesome read! Made me hungry too.

Just make sure you aren't eating raw eggs and meats everyone lol

You know there's nearly twice as much bioavailable protein in cooked eggs as opposed to raw?

Also, eating raw egg whites can lead to a biotin deficiency

It's illegal in my state..bunch of BS!!! You can potentially go to prison longer for selling raw milk than an 8 ball of coke.

This is all true. There were several peer reviewed studies documenting this a few years back.

Advantages of Raw Egg

+36% more Vitamin D
+33% more omega-3s
+33% more DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) ( KEY WORD) + Better,Good,Like MORE!!!!!!!
+23% more choline
+19 % more Zinc
+20% more biotin
My thought, I could give the percentage of cooking drop to, about 7%-10% ,all depends on how you cook ,boil, fry etc.. ....AnalogMan

Really love raw spinach and raw kale. One of the two goes into my morning and night shakes.

If we're talking whole raw eggs, now there's a risk of salmonella and still much less bioavailable protein. If we're talking pasteurized egg whites, now we're talking about much less bioavailable protein and biotin deficiency

My .02... Y'all have fun with that

Sometimes I add some oatmeal too and fruits and teste delicious

Me too, I make mine into a whole meal with berries, oatmeal, cottage Cheese, protein powder, either milk or almond milk, raw egg whites, spinach or kale. Sometimes some peanut butter.

Egg white protein is generally considered to be less digestible than heat-pretreated egg white protein. However, no data are available concerning the magnitude of this impairment in vivo. In this study, it was shown that after ingestion of 25 g of raw egg protein, almost 50% is malabsorbed over 24 h. The higher digestibility of cooked egg protein presumably results from structural changes in the protein molecule induced by heating, thereby enabling the digestive enzymes to gain broader access to the peptide bonds. It has been suggested that the reduced digestibility of raw egg white is at least partially related to the presence of trypsin inhibitors in raw egg white (Matthews 1990).

^ so basically says u get 50% LESS protein from raw egg whites than cooked egg whites.

For some of these nutrients, the greater percentage in a raw egg may not make for a practical difference, since the egg starts out with too little of nutrient in the first place .. For example ,even though the amount of vitamin D in a "raw" egg drops from 41iu to 26iu during cooking. The raw egg provides 10% of the Daily Value(DV) to begin with. With this percentage dropping down to 7% through the cooking process.. The U.S. intake is 302 milligrams per day, you lose 26% buy cooking them. That's the real, in{ my } world..............AnalogMan

I don't think cook eggs got more protein than raw eggs cause when you cook your food or boiling veggis loose a lot of vit and mineral and natural protein

Yea, technically the cooking process may degrade a small amount of the protein value but in the end it's really about what the body can digest, and it just doesn't digest uncooked eggs quite the same

Another example would be the cooking of meat. Our prehistoric brothers ate raw meat but what ultimately allowed the human brain to evolve was when they starting cooking it over a fire. We wouldn't be who we are today if our ancestors wouldn't have started cooking meat

Like raw eggs. Sushi the only raw meat I would eat, and not very often

Mmm that sounds good, but I only get it if the fish is cooked lol I like the rolls topped with smoked salmon and stuffed with cream cheese

Steak, two eggs sunny side up, and some fatty tuna sushimi makes a heelofva breakfast

Let's remember you are what you eat and whatever that animal eats is what you eat ! www.westonaprice.org , and a great documentary is Foodmatters .

Caaannn Uuuu Diigg It ?

It outrageous! SWAT charging in with guns drawn ready to waste someone. All for "illegal" but perfectly clean and healthy: milk, cheese, and other dairy products. Rawsome Foods got shut down and the owner eventually went to prison. Fuck the law.

It used to be Illegal where I am. I moved out to the sticks, back in the day, just to be close to an "Amish Dairy Farm", that was the only place to get Raw Milk. If you knew them from the Market and they liked you, you were in. Plus, the Organic Vegetable's, and just all the food was "Impeccable".
Today, If you went out to where I used to live, Hell, the 21st Century came in like a "Plague", I was out there a couple of months ago. The farms are all gone, It's Strip Malls, and Housing Developments, It really sucks............................................................JP

There's nowhere to get a share of a cow or goat near where you live?

Yes, actually, there's quite a few places now. I do that in the summer with a Vegetable Farmer, you get a large crate E.W.
I have a few places that are only about 1/2 hour from me. It comes right from the farm fresh, and the price is good.
If I went to the farm, the price of Gas would make it about the same. I only buy about 2 Gals a week, when I'm drinking it.
I can also get "Raw Goat's Milk", at the same place, I drink that to...............................................JP

Have you tried to Google Raw Milk and your location. The results might just surprise you. Even when It's Illegal, sometimes I've still found it listed.
It used to be Illegal in my state.
My Uncle's have always been Cheese makers (Ricotta and Mozzarella).
In the 60's when they first started Homogenizing Milk. They made it Illegal to have Milk that was not Pasteurized and Homogenized.
Drove my Uncle's crazy for about a month. They had to reformulate the Cheese Recipe........................................JP
P.S.
Even though in the Cheese making process, the Milk is Pasteurized.
Homogenizing just incorporates all the Fat particle's.
When I was a kid, the Fat on the Milk would rise to the top, especially in Winter. That was before Homogenized Bullsh## Milk.

My wife and I have been doing the raw diet a little over 4 weeks now. She has gone completely vegetarian while I eat a lil chicken and fish every so often. These past 4 weeks have really been remarkable. I haven't felt better in years and my energy level has been amazing. It took about a 1-1.5 weeks to really feel it but man, I'm so glad I decided to do this. Like bodybuilding this is a lifestyle. As someone else mention the documentaries Forks over Knives, and Fat, Sick, and nearly Dead are awesome. Watching both those really motivated me to make it happen. I recommend it to all , and good luck to anyone that decides to give it a go! Oh, and we purchased a juicer, I love that thing!

If you're eating anything raw you shouldn't be putting protein your body which includes any needs any dairy products this is going to constrict the flow of the proper usage of your minerals so you should refrain from any dairy products milk cheese eggs anything like that is going to promote cancer and bone disease that is proven that everything the dairy industry is Tortue is going to do exactly the opposite osteoporosis is going to be a more gettable. Sorry to burst any of your bubbles

That why you skinny, no protein

Proteins were not meant to be processed by the body animal fats of any kind going thing they will give you is cancers and diseases of all sorts if you want diabetes or anything like that then go ahead is what channel that is you want butts are you going to do is cause yourself to die early and not live to your full potential of life look it up stairs information is on the Internet I'm not just making stuff up

Varner L. J.

And maybe skinny now but with this new Way of obtaining protein I am building muscle more rapid than having to put those protein shakes or anything like animal fat and my body

Varner L. J.

I am highly skeptical of a sustainable way to build quality lean mass without animal protein in the diet. Post up your typical daily meals and macros

Check out Dan McDonald -Dan the Man on YouTube he's going to channeling has all sorts of juices and smoothies that you can make (gorilla milk) is a good one and. Not only do these methods both your muscle up but they also are safe and healthy and I don't clog your system like most proteins well and inevitably proteins like animal fats etc. will cause health problems down the road. I am fairly new to this whole vegetable-based diet world so I don't know everything there is to know about it I'm still learning day today but check it out and maybe you can educate me some to.

My Brother, let me clue you in.

When we (Homo Sapiens), came along, we were "Hunter Gatherer's".

What that means is, What we could catch and kill (anything on 4 Legs and a Face), and what we could gather up (Roots, Tubers, and the Like).

I'm talking over 10,000 years ago.

We didn't start Farming until about 5,000 years ago. Ancient Egypt !

When Archaeologist started to dig up remains of Human's, they could tell which were "Hunter Gatherer's" and which were "Farmer's".

Hunter Gatherer's were Taller, Thinner, and showed no signs of Bone Disease.

Farmer's were Shorter, Fatter, and had Osteoporosis, and other Diseases, which the Hunter Gatherer's didn't have.

So end's the History Lesson on Early Man..........................................................JP

I eat dead animals. Like 300+ grams of protein worth each day (not counting shakes). They taste good and make me big. Then I inject steroids into my ass and I get even bigger. Then I shit out the dead animals, fall asleep and repeat the cycle when I wake up. True story

Only joking, welcome Lee. You're not going to convert us to vegans so you probably wont get much positive feedback with that approach.
