Should I start antibiotics ??

Today, i noticed a knot in the area i injected over a week ago. initially, nothing, last few days, tenderness. Now, a knot. Its not red, warm, but it does appear to be very tight and a knot like area.

I have a weeks worth of clindamycin. Should i take them to stop a potential problem or am i over reacting?

I wouldn't use antibiotics unless you actually had an infection which it definitely doesn't sound like. I would give it a few more days.

why would antibiotics help here? they should never be taken unless you absolutely need them

It might be scar tissue. Knead/massage that bitch and avoid using it for MONTHS
