Supp timing

I usually lift weights about 5 times a week, and mma 3 times.
if im sometimes working out 2 times a day(lifting weights---- then mma) when should i take my post workout supplements........... mma would be more of a "cardio" workout i guess

Most of us aren't big fans of said products - so never then.
 
you don't have to run off and take post workout supplements. that is what the supp companies want you to do to sell more supps.. during the 80's it was post workout, then they came up with pre workouts and now it is post, pre and during too. if you know the science you know you can take your supplements anytime, there is no timing to them. the ONLY situation where we think it could make a slight difference is taking creatine near your workout, but even that info is up for debate and cherry picked
 
I don't really think any supplement is required post workout. If you want to, go ahead and get some quick protein after your workout.

Okay let me put it to you this way. Why would you want to intentionally delay your recovery from hard workout?
As far as question goes if you have had a hard workout and you have to go train mma soon after I would take the pwo shake after your weight training session, otherwise you are gonna be super tired if you don't have anything before that second bout.

Take it after your workout and before your mma training
 
depends on the supplement. i would do protein after workout before mma.. anything else if you have to have it take after mma
