Get blood work before, during and after. Otherwise you are just guessing. On cycle precautions include having an AI such as arimidex or aromasin on hand to combat high estrogen. These are things you should already know long before you decide to do steroids.

The nice thing about testosterone is that it does not effect your liver. The only support supplement needed on a testosterone only cycle is an AI (aromatize inhibitor) like aromasin. This is VERY important to prevent estrogen related side effects like gyno and water retention. Start the AI on day one of your cycle and run it throughout your entire cycle and PCT.
Here's what I recommend:
Weeks 1 - 10
testosterone 500mg/week (1.25mL of t400 per week)
aromasin 12.5mg every other day

the biggest mistake guys make on a test cycle is they don't use a good AI. so they end up wtih estrogen problems!
also they go into cycle in bad shape.. make sure you are really ready for steroids and use your n2guard

You need to do some research too before starting this cycle. You are basically saying hey guys, tell me everything. You really need to understand how these compounds work. They are very serious hormones and should not be taken lightly.
That being said, you can run a test only cycle very safely and effectively if you put in the work. Run a long ester test like test C or test E at 500mg per week split into 2 separate 250mg injections for 10-12 weeks. Split them up so you pin Monday/Thursday, Tuesday/Friday, etc. Whatever works for your schedule. Make sure to run aromasin at 10mg EOD for the estrogen control and N2Guard for cholesterol, blood pressure, and organ health.
