EVO Logger
Hey everyone,

Decided to start a log after being a long time lurker. I felt like it would just be a good way to get others input and information.

Backstory: Started TRT after debating for close to 3 years whether or not it would be a viable option for me. I had been closely monitoring my hormones for about 3 years after I primarily noticed I was losing some libido, and my results in thr gym and athlete wise were not on-par with the amount of effort I had been putting in. Low and behold I began doing around 6 monthly check ins with the doc and found my levels of test to be hovering 300-350 (not ideal for a fit, normal 25yo at the time).

Anyways here we are, TRT.. started about 6 weeks ago now, 100mg a week Test C.

Initial reactions: This has absolutely changed my life. I have 500% more energy, 500% more sex drive, 500% more performance in the gym. I feel great and in the short time I have noticed changes in how I appear. Its overall been a fantastic experience thus far.

I feel as though I may have been very E2 reactive, in the sense that even on a small dose my E2 shot up way around 233 pmol/L from about 88 pmol/L. I had slight chets pain. Nevertheless I now take an AI, .5 anastrozole each week to mitigate this and I will assess in another few weeks after another blood test. I had slight joint pain for the first two or so weeks however this has completely gone and I feel great.

I completed a blood test just around the 5 week mark after starting and that is where my E2 reading came from. In addition I observed all my other markers which seem to be doing fine. I have attached my blood work below. Although I felt great on 100mg per week, I was not really "happy" with the number my Free Test reached *780 pmol/L.

I feel as though, if I am going to be taking Testosterone, I might as well be making the most of it and try to dip my toes into the super-physiological numbers. Thats why I have now bumped up to 150mg per week. I will monitor how I feel here and take another blood test in 4-5 weeks and see how all my markers are tracking.

Am I selfish? Now that I have started, I only want more... :ROFLMAO:. But I guess thats a conversation for down the track whenI know for a certain fact that I will want to add in some blasts of other compounds... feels naughty just to even think about. The gym pumps have felt sexual they have been so good, im sure others can relate :ROFLMAO:

Yeah those numbers are shocking mate mine were like that after 10 yrs of cycling on and off as a 30 year old! Ive done bodybuilding and power lifting in my days and neither displine benefited from more than 250 a week ish ( don't jab every 7 days like an idiot) understand what chemicals you're using and the half-life if you're going to use a 250mg sus or enanthate try .4 every four days this will return good stable Blood work and you won't be up and down like a fkn yoyo. Also it's probably obvious to everyone by now but yes you can take as much as you want if you don't eat, you don't know how to eat or cook like half the monkeys out there; you are Wasting your time and money and causing unnecessary damage. Be reasonable with what you're trying to do and be responsible. good luck with it 👍

I would ride this out for as long as possible without changing anything

@hybridathleteonT instead of jacking up your trt dose, why not just blast and cruise instead? you felt great at 100mg a week, if anything i would of told you instead of adding an Ai to lower it more to maybe 90mg to bring your E down.
keeping your trt numbers too high even if you 'feel better' isn't smart. your blood will thicken up, your kidney's will take a beating, and your liver will too along with things like prostate, hair, skin etc. at the end of the day its your body but its something to think about

Welcome to the EVO Family and to EVO Logging and thanks for the base physique pics.
You obviously put a lot of effort and yourself into your first log post so thanks for that. I'm glad you feel that much better, 500% is a huge win bro.

You're in the mod queue for log approval and then we'll get this party started brother!

Yeah that is a very fair assessment. As I said I did believe I was being greedy wanting to push the levels. FYI I am going to take your advice and stay at 100mg and consider going down later. Blast and cruise sounds like a protocol I could do later on. Thanks!

These bloods were without Arimidex. But included HCG. I had not begun AI consistantly each week until these bloods came in. I misunderstood some advice I was previously given.

Diet info coming soon! I defiitely track my foods with my primary focus on hitting protein macros and total calories. Currently I am in a slight deficit sitting at just avbout 300 below my maintenance. My total calories is adjusted week by week depending on how much I run. However at the moment because I am only sitting around 20km p/w I am maintenance around 2800 ish, meaning I am actually consuming only about 2400.

Food log to come + training log, you will see them both over the next week. Currently Arnold ish split. Chest/back, Shoulder/Arms, Legs Abs. I love it as every gym session feels like a bro split pump when it is not.

Not taking Vit C directly, its mixed into other supps I am taking. NIl creatine currently. I do not take a digestive enzyme but mix in pinneaple into alot of my meal prep. I have never had an issue digesting but may explore this if issues arise, do you think i should be proactive on this? Greek yogurt is my ritual daily breakfast, so I havent explored other probiotics yet.

I am 100% getting on the husk.

Thanks for the engagement all.

I'm looking forward to seeing some good results out of you. I love the plan that you have in place. The only thing I would change is that I would run something else aside from the HCG. Maybe add some peptides. @hybridathleteonT

Yeah it would be better in the long run to do it the smart way because you don't want to end up like so many bodybuilders, dead before you even get to see your grandkids.

@hybridathleteonT I like the vitamin list that you have. I've never heard of boron dropping SHBG though. You might want to look at using proviron for that.

Age: 27
Sex: male
Height: 177cm
Weight: 78kg

Compounds:

Wk 0-6: Test Cyp 100mg per week - split into 2 x.
Wk 6 and beyond so far 150 mg per week - split into 2 x.
HCG 562.5 iu x 3 per week - on going.

Ancil:
Anastrozole - .5 mg per week

Vitamins:
Magnesium - 290mg Mon - Friday
Boron - 10mg (To lower SHBG, idk trying it out - any thoughts?) Monday - Friday
Fish Oil - 1100mg - Daily
Vitamin B12 - 1000mcg - Daily
Zinc - 50mg - Daily
Vitamin D3 - 2000iu - Daily
Vitamin C - 40mg - Daily

Any other important pieces of the puzzle I am missing here?

Goals:

Get jacked, Stay lean, Lift heavy and run far.

Current situation:

Skinny fat with some muscle - fitness is good and I am decently strong for my size. I am currently running a high protein calorie deficit to get rid of this skinny fat and build from lean later.
Bros, I like your goals, short and to the point. Everybody tries to chase crazy goals that are unachievable. You keep it simple. @hybridathleteonT

Thanks for the engagement all.
that means we need bloods after doing arimidex 2-3 weeks see how it goes important

No. What was life like at the time? Busy? Stressed?
I wouldnt say that I was experiencing any more stressors, or an overly busy lifestyle when compared to the next guy. I like my job, i have a great home life, life is generally quite smooth sailing for me.

Alright, received my bloods back and overall I think I am in a good spot. I also feel healthy and well.

Thankfully my E2 has come down significantly and perfectly positioned within the ref range. Test levels have risen quite a bit since my previous test result, I have not altered my dosage, namely 100 mg a week split into 2 x 50mg.

I think the only thing I will note and keep an eye on is my LDL and Total Chol/ HDL has risen a bit past the ref range where previously it has been within the ref range. HOWEVER this is highly likely linked to the fact I have had some "cheat" days recently with a family wedding last weekend just enjoying myself and beers (Normally I do not drink) and I assume it will come back down at a later blood test. Additionally I do drink a fair amount of coffee which is linked to raising LDL, ill give a shot at reducing my intake of Coffee and Caffeine in general and see how much up an impact this has. As well, I have run a course of anti biotics and imflammation so this could have very well had an effect.

Everything else seems quite fine to me. I am not worried about my AST for the same reasons as above (anti biotics).

--

Training has been going fine hitting all my lifting sessions and running sessions with intensity. Diet has been on track hitting my protein, carb, fat and caloric intake goals with ease.

Being skinny fat, I am really considering just going on an extreemly aggressive cut for the next four weeks to kill my visceral fat, does anyone have any thoughts on this?

--

I think I am making insane progress in the gym since starting TRT and I am loving it. Also Cardio gains are through the absolute roof.

Felt a bit bloated today so no pump pic, later in the week.. 🤣
