using mass gainer with creatine

if i use mass gainer thats high in calories and add creatine to it in about 20grams per day would it be a good combination? or overkill on my bulking.

bro start with 5grams/ed...then add 5grams every few weeks....
 
Any mass gainer shake is going to be full of sugar and cheap oils. It's a great way to get fat. Your best option is to make your own high calorie shake. It'll be much cheaper, and provide much more nutrients then any mass gainer type of shake.

Buy a high quality blender and blend together the following:
2 scoops of a high quality protein powder such as wheytobuildmuscle from n2bm.com

oatmeal
natural almond butter or peanut butter
frozen fruit
banana
ice
chia/flax seeds
spinach/kale

You can easily make the shake 800 calories and drink it for breakfast.

Your creatine dosage is too high - There is a lot of misinformation out there when it comes to creatine supplementation. There is no need to load or cycle creatine. Supplement with 5-10g per day. When you take the creatine doesn't matter but ideally you would supplement with creatine pre and post workout, as your body is most inclined to absorb nutrients at this time. Supplementing with creatine post workout will also help replenish depleted creatine phosphate stores from your workout.
 
I agree with musky, make your own. and better yet forget the shakes altogether and learn how to eat whole foods

if you are doing these mass gainers and shakes all day then its proof you aren't eating properly in the first place. a lot of newbs make this mistake cause its cheaper to drink a shake then prepare/eat real food.. a lot of 20 year olds don't know how to cook, only know how to mix up a shake .. its not that hard to learn
 
Your creatine dosage is way too high - you don't need anything that's above 10 grams per day. Ideally, you should be using the dosages mentioned by @muskate - 5-10 grams per day. As for the mass gainers, I feel rather sceptical about them - you gotta choose them very carefuly.
 
I am not a believer in mass gainers. I will always suggest you make your own. This way you can tailor it to your daily macros and overall calorie needs. I would always use a good quality whey isolate like WTBM Isolation. Then, you can add what you chose to it. Muskate gives you some good suggestions. Also, creatine only needs to be supplemented at 5-10g per day in order to keep muscles saturated. Take it pre/post workout and use a nice product like Ancient Strength:
