Hey guys, planning my first cycle out and I'm looking at sites for buying syringes and needles.. Ive looked up posts and everyone seems to have different answers. My question is, for glute/butt injection do I want
a 1" or 1.5" needle? Ive read that it depends how fat you are, if youre fatter then youre going to want to use the 1.5" but if youre skinny then the 1" is good. I'm 5"11 and 195 lbs. I'm not really "fat" but i want to make sure i get to the muscle.
Any opinions are welcome. I just dont want to order something i'm not going to want.
I was going to order a 18g for withdraw and then switch to a 25g for inject. Any feedback is welcomed :)
Thanks.

18 to draw. Get both a 25g and a 23g to try it out. 1" is fine but 1.5 would be best. You can always leave as much of the needle out as you want.

I agree, I'll hit every spot with 1 inch, and glutes get 1.5...all 25g

I would not draw with 18's it's just to damn big and you could end up losing oil while drawing gear depending on stoppers and what oil you are drawing. 20g works just fine to draw thicker oils, if it's MCT or safflower you don't even need that.

Pin wise if you got a big ass use 25g x 1.5 if not use 25g x1. No need for 23g unless you are impatient or injecting water based winny or something.

I second dallas, Id get both 23 and 25. 25s probably take forever to push in. 18s to withdraw. I like 1.5s for glutes and thighs. 1 inch for delts.

I draw and shoot with 25 gauge. I'm lean and normally use 1" pins but sometimes I go with 1.5 if it's a glutes shot then I pretty much bury the pin but if I'm doing delts I don't push it quite as far far when using 1.5

Its Test C that I'll be injecting. I'll get the 1.5, there isnt any risk with going too far in? I dont know how thick that muscle is.. sorry for dumb questions.

ok thank you guys. I picked up 20g 1.5" nipro 3cc and then the 25g 1.5" needle only. sound about right? wasnt sure on brands and if one brand is better then the other but then again theyre just syringes and needles lol.

Sounds good, you might as well add some 25gx1 to the order.... Pins are so cheap and it's best to be stocked. I like BD myself.

I use 21 for drawing and 25 for pinning... I have a batch of 1" but prefer 1.5"

I use 18g to draw, 23g 1.5" to shoot glutes then 23g 1" to shoot quads and delts. Never had any trouble with it.

Tiny needles are more comfy to inject, but sometimes the oil is hard to push through them. So I would recommend to get both a 25g and a 23g. See, if the 25 works fine for you and you inject without difficulties, then stick to it. If you find it hard to inject through a 25g, then try to switch to the 23g. It will be a little bit less comfy, but should be easier to inject. 18g for drawing is fine.

Get an 18 or 21 gauge to withdraw.

23 or 25 gauge is good for injecting glutes. I use a 25 5/8' personally. I am VERY lean however. A 25 1' is sufficient for most people. Unless you have a significant amount of body fat, you won't need a 1.5'

18 to draw. For glutes I use 1.5 23g. For VG injections (which I just recently tried for the first time and LOVE) I use a 1 inch 23g

I use 25 gauge 5/8 for delts and a lot of people are gonna say that it won't reach the muscle but it works perfectly fine for me no problem at all

I agree with 18 to draw, 25 to shoot. Get 1.5 inch needles, you don't have to go all the way in on delts or quads but can for glutes.

Guys its not rocket science. Where is your scence of adventure. Test out what the bros say. Try a 22g or a 25g or oh my a 29g insulin pin. It takes a whole minute to draw a cc. I am just saying think for yourselves. If somebody says it wont work try it anyways just so you know.

seems like you picked up pretty good. 18g to withdraw works and 25g to inject is what i use also.i use 1.5 for glutes. Not sure if i could get away with 1", i never tried on glutes. i use 1" for delts though

This is what I do except I shoot with a 23. The 1.5 is almost universal cause like mentioned above you don't have to go all the way... but you do have to know what your doing.

I use a 23g 1inch for everything. For beginners sometimes ill recommend using a 25g to pin with. What you choose to draw with is up to you, it takes me 30 seconds to draw anything with a 23g, not sure why a lot choose to draw with a 18 for just a little bit faster draw.. With that needle diameter you run the risk of fucking up your rubber stopper in my opinion. Heating the oil always allows forma faster draw and a smoother pin, physics !

Thanks everyone for their advice, I have another stupid question.. I don't think it matters but I want to be 100% sure. Are hypodermic needles okay to use? Doesn't make a difference right?

I draw up with 18g then pin with a 1" 23g in the delt and glut and never had any problems. A lot of these guys say 25g but it is way way to slow for me. I like the 23g it slows it down enough to not go to fast if you know what I mean but fast enough it's not in there all day.

I'm in the same boat OP. I'm in the research and gather phase of my first cycle. trying to stay patient. anyways. Placed an order on Tuesday from www.shopmedvet.com

ordered 100ct BD 3cc syringe with 21 g to draw. 100ct terumo 25x1 1/2 and 100ct terumo 25x1. All for $37 shipped to my door. Picked up at ups today.

oh, the 25x1 terumo is on back order and they said 5 days on those.

Doesn't seem too thick but this Is my first cycle.. it's from bio logic pharms. I ended up ordering 20g to draw and 25 1.5" to inject. It says hypodermic needle tho.. oh well.

In the UK we get all the pinning gear for free!

Many pharmacy's here run a needle exchange program (run by the government) you just ask for a sports 2 pack in the pharmacy.

Anyway - each pack contains 20x21 gauge 1.5" needles (for drawing) 20x23 gauge 1.5" needles (for injecting) 20 x alcohol wipes , 20 x 2ml barrels and a sharps bin.
They will give you as many of these packs as you want or need and offer free Bacteriostatic water as well.

I have no experience of 25 gauge needles but i imagine pushing a thicker oil through one must take a bit of time.
