Would my training approach work?

My greetings to everyone. In the last months I am literally overloaded with work, which is mostly at my office. The problem is that I just physically don't have the time for a gym. However, I do take 10-15 minute breaks every hour or so - do some pushups, dips, etc. Now I am about to purchase a good set of dumbells, and the question is simple - if I train one muscle group once a day, and during the day dedicate 10 mins for weightlifing - will the results be even noticeable? Would that be considered as overtraining?

mike mentzer believed you only needed to train 20 mins per day and 3 days per week max. However you need heavy equipment to push for max weight on each short set.

You can do it bro, believe in your self.

ANY workout is better then no workout. I love your innovative attitude.

With a proper diet, the results will defiantly be noticeable.

If possible, also get a set of resistance bands and a chin up bar for the door frame of your office.

This is definitely a good idea to workout this way. In the end of the day, nobody said that you got to workout an hour per day in one go - you may as well do it in parts, and it will be extremely beneficial for you.

I agree - the situation is horrible, but that's how it is - no point in working out if there is nothing to live on. Anyhow, in such case tommorrow I will be buying a good set of dumbells. Thinking of getting a set of dumbells where you can change the weights - this way I will save space in the office, and there will be no need in tons of different dumbells.

Great idea with the DB that can adjust weight in one stack, don't forget your large muscle groups like glutes hams and quads, squat thrusters, RDL to curl to press, lunge to curl Ect , do as many multi joint exercises as possible, drink lots of water and eat right it will make a big difference. Movement is the KEY!!!

nice idea man! with those adjustable DB u can do the big 4 lifts (squats, pec press in the floor for ur situation, deadlift and ohp). but I am more worried about the burn ur forearms will get! xD

10 min is simply not long enough, don't forget to train briefly, you need to train hard. To train hard, you need to warm up. It's 5-7 min to warm up or even more for some. So where is the time to actually train here?

I dig your positive attitude but also need to be realistic.

You can do some light pumping sets and stuff, can maintain (at best) with such a training but don't set your hopes too high.

Maybe some sarms from sarms1 will give him the edge he needs?
