You use a credit card and it sends instantly. I have had it take a little bit to process before but its quick.

It all depends on where you're sending the Money.
Domestic is No Problem.
Overseas can be a Pain in the Ass since 9/11................................... JP
P.S.
I go to MoneyGram if I'm sending Overseas.

I have Accounts at Both WU & MG.
I go in person to send money overseas.
And I have found that MG in general is a Better Experience...................................... JP
P.S.
I have a friend that has a Store with a WU phone, and I've been denied.
P.S.S.
MG has always got my money where it needs to go, Never Denied !

Yeah they have lock triggers if done online. Also, I think they dont take cc online in 'll essentially debit. Mine was denied online last week.

what i forgot to include in that was i tried sending online international..it didn't let me. You will most likely have to go in person as JP stated.

Several sources don't by even mess with WU online. Its just as safe but the reliability is hit and miss.

you should contact your source if you have concerns, they will usually accommodate you

WU/MG only for domestic I use online. If its internation I use PP or WU in person.

I'll give MG online a go. Otherwise a trip to WU will have to do. It just sucks cause it's like an hour there and an hour back

lots of people do but i personally like to use a teller in check cashing . i dont like computer trails maybe im paraniod

I try to use the actual onsite locations for WU. I have tried going online with a international order and it got all fucked up. But seems like domestic is g2go.

I have had a better experience with MG for international money orders, although I still prefer the PayPal - it is more reliable, or at least has prove to be such to me.

I've done this a few times. First transaction (domestic) they called to make sure I was initiating the transaction. Just told them yes and sending to a "friend." Was held up but went through. Second transaction was instant (international). I think it's more about the amount you're sending than where it's going. At least that was my experience.
