The gw experience

So today marked day 1 of my run with GW. I am starting my next cycle in 2 weeks and wanted the GW to build in my system as I have heard it takes a while to be in full effect.

I did nothing different from my normal routine today and took my normal daily supplements in the morning and afternoon ie; glucosamine, fish oils, multi-v, flax seed oil etc. The GW came in the afternoon so I decided about 1 1/2 hours before my workout, I'd take 10mg. I didn't feel anything at all nor was I expecting to feel anything.
So an hour later I got ready for the gym and took some preworkout. I always take a 1/2 scoop before I go to the gym and sip on the other 1/2 scoop while I'm working out. Today was a different story. I felt ridiculously focused in the gym and had crazy bicep pumps after only 2 warm up sets (ARM DAY)... This was completely new to me. I had a pump that usually took me an hour to achieve in 15 minutes.. It was ridiculous. I also felt like I took 3 scoops of preworkout or something.. I was so energized and would push myself to the point of heavy heavy breathing. I always push myself, but today seemed different in the sense that I felt like I could go on forever. It was awesome. I may be crazy, but I know it's not the whole "placebo effect" because I wasn't even expecting anything to be working yet. Maybe I'm extremely sensitive to GW, but I know something worked today. My pump is still here 1 1/2 hours later and I feel... well, awesome. So, if this is what I have to look forward to and it gets better, GW will be a staple in my life forever hahaha.

Anyone else have this experience?

idk if mine was to that extent, but ya, ive got something similar. good shit huh?

Hell yea it is. I was really surprised to feel anything.. let alone how good I feel right now. I just hope the ride doesn't end

My test subject is not showing increased energy or endurance from GW. However there are some positive results - less fat around mid section, but the body weight is about the same. This is after 1 month of use.

Interesting... Well, everyone reacts a little differently I suppose.

And I'm sure quality comes into play

Are you doing cardio?

I experienced the exact same thing for about the first 3 days that I took it and then after that I haven't really noticed much since. I'm not doing any cardio so that's probably why I'm not getting the full effects. As far as rest times being cut down between sets, I haven't noticed any difference but I have short rest times anyway.

Right on.. yea, I'm currently limiting my cardio to bulk... we'll see how it goes

I experienced both fat loss and better workouts. I think some guys get leaner and don't even notice it. Cardarine (GW) is the best I've used so far as an aid for my cutting cycles.

Cardarine is awesome stuff, and the endurance benefit is the most noticeable. It strips fat off of me too, but of course it needs to be in conjunction with a proper diet and training

30 minutes of cardio 3 times a week.
In my experience I increased my cardio time and/or intensity every workout. This is how you build endurance on gw. You have to build endurance just like you build muscle, gw just makes it easier and more drastic.
That said, everyone doesn't respond the same to every compound.
good luck.

Yes, I am attempting to increase the intensity with each cardio workout. For example my preferred cardio is running on a one mile outdoor track. Currently it takes me over 30 minutes to complete 3 miles, but the times are improving. Once I hit 3 miles in 30 minutes, will then try for 3.5 miles in 30 minutes and so on. Thanks for the tip !

add in a lil more post lifting. once you ve burned up all the cals in your body from lifting fat is all thats left for fuel.

Have done this occasionally , but not every workout. I agree with the cardio after weights workout plan. Some say the opposite is better.
Thanks for the advice !

The thing I like the most about cardarine other than shorter rest periods is the improvement in lipid profile

This is just from my personal experience, but you may get more out of anaerobic exercises versus aerobic (distance runs) if you are trying to keep lean mass and lose fat. So doing sprints on that track will help burn up the fat without muscle wasting.

Did legs today... My rest time in between sets of squats was already shorter and I felt less drained at the end... It was awesome! I am loving this stuff.
I can't wait to start my cycle and get the dbol going with it! Should be a blast!

You're gonna kill it bro!

I've done a full 12 week cycle with the GW. I started noticing it a few days in and got a big buzz from the boost in performance. The buzz wore off after a week or so, but the boost was still there. It just became an expectation instead of an "oh wow, this is awesome" kind of feeling. I started another cycle almost two weeks ago and I'm currently running 60-80 miles per week. A couple of weeks from now I aim to be hitting low 100's. When the GW is kicking, the miles just click away like nothing. I wonder if this is what a small dose of EPO feels like...

It's interesting to see how you guys react to this stuff on the other end of the physical fitness spectrum (e.g. anaerobic). I can certainly see how it would be beneficial to bodybuilding by allowing more work to be done in less time.

I will give that a try on my next cardio day !

Yea, I'm hoping I can keep myself grounded and that "oh wow" factor will stay with me... The way I can describe it is when I used to do HIT and took dbol at the same time. It felt like I couldn't be stopped or beaten.. Especially in sprints.
A long long time ago I used to run about 45 miles a week a few years ago and would have loved to have had something like this.
And I agree, it's always cool to hear "the other half" of experiences with these things.

I will give that a try on my next cardio day !

Right on man.. Yea, I used to run a lot.. Like my warm up before working out was at least 2 miles around a 6:30mile pace. Then I would work out... I couldn't put on mass and eventually when I started running more, I noticed I was actually losing muscle. So I drastically cut it down and never looked back haha. But that's me. I hope you can find what works for you.. Being open to new things is the right idea.

About to start my GW on Monday. Have been jogging lately, but want to lose fat not muscle. So should sprints be better in that case?

I believe so. With anaerobic exercises, the short bursts of intensity followed by brief rest periods allow for a greater increase in metabolic rate vs aerobic. So you're burning the calories while you are doing the session, plus, due to the fact that the body is going to consume a good number of calories after the session recovering, you're also burning more calories at rest later on. Not only that, but HIT/Circuit training will help maintain muscle mass by engaging your muscles.
Long distance runners typically become lean, but also sacrifice muscle size/density because the body adapts and gets rid of the excess it doesn't need to survive...

I'm not saying to eliminate cardio.. I'm saying to get a better result (yours being fat burn while not losing muscle), you may want to try something new.

Keep it going bro. Sounds like u have a great plan in place. Delete some of your messages so I can pm u bro..!!! Good luck

2 miles @ 6:30 pace is hauling ass! No wonder you were losing muscle. What if I tried 1/4 mile sprint, walk 1/4 mile, 1/4 sprint ect. My goal is to burn as much fat as possible, but lose as little muscle as possible.
Thanks

hahaha Yea, I'm a decent runner :) or was...

If you are going to do sprints, I would recommend doing something more like this

Build up jog for warm up 1:00... Then jog 1/8 mile and sprint 1/4 mile then jog 1/8 mile and sprint 1/4 mile. For me, I can do this until I have sprinted 1 mile, but I don't know your level of fitness and it's not wise to push yourself too hard when getting into it. I'd start small and work your way up. Also, don't solely depend on sprints to be your cure all. You could do a smaller version of what I just listed as a warm up followed by a few rounds of circuit training. One of the best ways to train with cardio is to keep it interesting and incorporate change... at least for me because I get bored as hell just running.

Re: the cardio, there's some interesting research out there suggesting that duration impacts cortisol and atrophy more than intensity. Hence, HIIT. Hit it and quit it.

I don't mind running outside. A tread mill drives me nuts ! Yard work in the hot summer sun is another great workout.

Yea I'm not a huge fan of treadmills either, but if you have a track you can go to that would work. Or run sprints for time.. Like 30/60s or 60/120s

running sprints is prob the most effective and takes 20-30 mins tops... Go to a football field and run 10-15 100 yard sprints and you will get shredded. What's great about the sprints is that you only have to do it 3 times a week and that would be equivalent to running all week long. HIIT is extremely effective and is nowhere near as catabolic as running for long periods of time
