its my mid delt where it would normally insert into the arm it looks like it inserts 2 or 3 inches further down my arm and the pain is getting worse
My non medical diagnosis: it's fucked up, go to dr.
Ya that could be a detached muscle or possibly worse. You need to at least go to an urgent care they will at least xray you and send you to the next expert.

I didnt realize getting an Injury was unavoidable.I've said it a million times .. best way to avoid injuries is don't get them in the first place.
if you are a douche in the gym and using poor form or you haven't build a proper base yet and jump on the sauce then that's a fast way to get yourself injured.
LMAO. That was funny bro. Dick Answer lol.Bro. This thread is about a hurt member not robolics. Its not a dick answer. There is a ton of robolics threads on this forum. Plus the robolics email is in the review section. Its called the search button learn to love it.

SteveSMI,Purely speculation, it can happen to even the seasoned of lifters.

Lifters need to listen to their bodies. If u feel some thing weird when lifting listen. Back off and do something else. Don't just say oh fuck it its fine and keep pushing. This is how injuries happen. Not knowing when u r fatigued

weightlifting is the safest sport out there. you aren't running into others (football, soccer, any other contact sport) you aren't smashing against the ground (tennis, volleyball, running, basketball)
if you get injured weightlifting its because you fucked up.. either you used bad form, or you improved too fast, or you have existing imbalances that you allowed to happen without correcting. now tripping over a weight at the gym and falling and cracking your head open is one thing, but hurting a shoulder doing a set is 100% on you
I hear what your saying, but 9/10 you come out with these HOLIER THAN THOU posts to some of the members, just not warranted that's all.
Appreciate your opinion all the same, as you are entitled to it.
The guy was talking about his shoulder and you went into that "million times post", that is all. Making it seem that he doesn't know shit.
I
Just commented, sorry to rub you the wrong way.
Wtf is an alter???
You're all wrong. It's still AIDS.
Sounds like full blown AIDS to me. I'm 100% sure of it.

Don't feel you need to dumb down your posts for my sake, appeared as though you got up on the soapbox a bit early without really needing to.
The examples are best left to those that know no better. Hope you weren't trying to take me to school.
Thx for the convo though.
glad I could help
and its "know" not "no" ..
he is working on a tranny sub forum. the mod team put him in charge of that.
Trannyselfies.com ?
KRAZIEONE
It's a forum on this site though, not a site of its own.
Or are you jsut asking for tranny selfies?
So he'll be getting a script for pharm hghYou're all wrong. It's still AIDS.
Nothing wrong yea but hes gotten no real feedback aside from guys barking at each other or tranny remarks.
Yea thats helping him out alot!!
ok guys it feels a lot better today. but it still kinda hurts and it looks like it's not as low as it was yesterday maybe it was just some kind of bruise or something
Btw I think I hurt it doing close grip bench pressing. I have a bad habit of flaring my lats when I close grip bench I never felt any pain or anything only hours after the workout

well it wasn't hurting when I was doing it all. and
Dips are snap citY there probably isn't any other exercise that's worse for your shoulders
Id wager decline dumbbells are betterdude if you want to build your pushing muscles dips are the king of compound lifts. you just gotta do proper form.. snap city? yes if you don't know how to properly do them.. I can say the same thing about any lift.
learn to engage your muscles when you workout and not the soft tissues and you will be in this game a long time. bring your ego to the gym and you won't last long. that's the best advice you can get
Id wager decline dumbbells are better
I will take that wager and give you 5 to 1 on top of it.
poll any BB site and ask whats better for building your core push muscles.. weighted dips vs. decline dumbells and see what poll results you get

nope it's AIDS.
On further inspection it feels warm and the pain is gone now. I probably should have mentioned that I injected their last week
In all seriousness, you need to get it checked out. At first glance it sounded like a dislocation.
In any event, just because it doesn't hurt now doesn't mean you didn't fuck something up. I think you need to get it checked out - you visually saw a disturbance in your muscle, that's not a good thing. I think you said you'd be out of pocket 80 bucks. That's nothing. That's dinner and a movie or whatever. Just go get checked out.
by the way decline dumbbell are definitely better. better range of motion safer on your shoulders and easier to progress on.
discussion pretty much over
thank you doctor.
I'm just gonna let it heal on its own. I never go heavy on anything my workout is 10 to 12 reps for everything
Pretty sure its internal bleeding from pinning.
HanahahajajajahahahahJJ. My man EER, always coming through.
Bro, Fizz drop some knowledge on this brother about Dips vs Decline press. Only way I could possible see the Decline being "better" for pec development over chest Dips is if you have a HUGE barre chest and don't have the flexibility to get that "stretch" at the bottom of the Chest Dip. All lifting brings with it the possibility of an injury, especially as we reach our max loads or do reps near our max load but the Dip is not one unless you don't know wtf you r doing. My fear with the dip has zero to do with shoulders but more sternum cracking once you advance to weighted dips.
dude you been on this site a week and you have me all figured out already? damn bro, you should play poker.
telling someone not to juice before building a base, and to use proper form is holier than thou? I hear about these injuries all the time and if guys don't learn how to prevent injuries they will keep getting them. that's not my opinion, that is a fact..
the main issue is newbsticks don't want to be told what they are doing is wrong. so it takes an injury for them to learn the hard way. so they get butthurt when I tell them what they did wrong. if I see that shit at the gym I don't say a word to them, but on here if you come on and have an issue I will tell you .. that's what this forum is for, to help each other. DUH!
so whose alter are you anyway?
I could feel stress on my sternum with a custom dip bar at my gym. Then they got the assisted one. The thing about dips os the breathing if you're worried about sternum issues. I always did decline bench and just started focusing on hammer strength. I had an arthritic feeling from dips when I was doing them a few months ago and that is because I was already doing 600 reps of chest exercises prior to. However, when I was on a mixed rotation (some volume sets, some strength), mass amounts of dips made girls come up to me on the streets to have sex with them. Dips are a top 3 exercise if you already have a good base. You have to do a forward lean to them and go deep. I don't lock out at the top either... On anything, because it puts stress on bone instead of muscle.
BINGO!!!! Most don't have the strength base to do dips properly...
I prefer the dips standing that look like a gymnastic parallel bar (where both bars are in perfect parallel) vs the V type bar.

And OP if you do fit the criteria I mentioned "barrel chest" then DB pullovers will be a superior chest developer for you vs the decline.
.Let me guess, you can't do BW dips or you probably don't have the knowledge to do them right? You do know there is a such thing as Chest dips and Tri Dips, right?
Also let me guess, you can't do to many pull-us either?
I don't have time to go into the mechanics but this is a pretty good article on Dips Vs Bench.
