Favorite protein?

What is your favorite protein and why? What protein gives you the least bloat. I want to hear what some of these diet guys have to say about this.

I prefer PES select whey protein....low carb and great tasting....it's not the healthiest because of artificial sweeteners though. Doesn't bloat me up. Walmarts regular protein was giving me such bad intestinal pain/gas that I had to go the ER once. The pain was horrible and it radiated to my back while lasting over 7 hours....idk what's in it but it doesn't agree with me lol

I use to only get Isopure and Myozine.
These days I went the Bulk Route, and either go to Bulk Supplements or Muscle Feast for Whey Isolate...................... JP

If im drinking whey its from truenutrition. Idk why anyone would get protein anywhere else. You get to make your own blends of you want, including flavors.

But i get more protein from drinkig eggwhites than whey..

Prosupps TCF Isolate. Less fillers. Less bloat IME. Taste is amazing/clean. Only 20g per scoop, but 4.4lb. tub has like 84 servings, so double scoops are awesome. Check it out. A bit pricey, though.

With true bio-availabilty being key here I'm gonna have to go with eggs. If we are talking fart powder then I would have to say Macrolution from MTS.

muscle tech phase8 - the taste is awesome, nice and thick before bed, keeps me full as well
dymatize casein - before bed also keeps me nice and full

Call me a cheapo, but I like vitamin shoppes brand of protein, also optimum nutrition. I compare the ingredients while in the store, and they are identical, except for the sugar which the brands I buy have less. 24 grams of protein per serving.

No bloat at all, even at my 2 scoop 60 gram after workout. If I cant get pro I go iso.

I eat a ton of egg whites. As far as protein supplement goes, I think I'm the only one on here that will admit using the cheap body fortress brand from wal-mart

i cook my eggs with whey to build muscle... either ice cream sandwich or peanut butter crunch... i do 3/4 scoop of one or the other and 1/2 scoop of muscle tech platinum casein... i use peanut butter crunch in my oat bran as well... I have one whey to build muscle shake before i lift... after i lift i use iospure... I have one ABB pure pro 50 a day... 1/2 a bottle before cardio and the other 1/2 mid way through...

i eat 20 egg whites a day as well... these are my favorite sources of protein... greek yogurt and tuna are some sources i use as well...

I agree with JDizzle..I try to get most of my protein from foods like egg whites, yogurt, etc. I'm embarrassed to say that I do love Chocolate Muscle Milk. I know! I know! But fuck it's so tasty.

Eggs Chix and Beef are the protein staples but milk is my favorite,
Iv used Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard for over 10 years, alot cheaper back then too and goes great with milk.

Its so crazy how expensive ON is now.... in my 2-3 years doing this its gone up 25-30$ cant imagine 10 years ago

its a very cheaply made protein... i know this from hands on experience, not by word of mouth... i've been involved with a lot of manufacturers and was filled in on how cheap they make theirs... isopure is the exact opposite as it is one of the higher quality made proteins out there...

I didnt know that. Good looking out

whey to build muscle, isopure, and the new muscle tech platinum series are the best quality i've come across... the abb pre made is good quality as well...

How do you rate muscletech platinums casein, texture/thickness? Been looking into it as oppose to dymatize casein

Dylan, do you eat plain greek or flavored? I love greek but they all have around 15 sugars so every time I eat one I enjoy it but the whole time I think about the sugar,,,lol. If you eat flavored what brand has the lowest sugar that you know of? I was doing cannon lite n fit cause it has only 7 sugars but then I realized it's got the artificial crap in it so now I'm back on chobani again.

Lol bro i dont even look at the flavored kind... I eat plain organic... Anything over 5 grams of sugar goes nowhere near me... Theres an icelandic brand i buy at whole foods called siggi's. It has 80 calories, 4 grams of sugar and 15 grams of protein... I mix it with water, ice and 3/4 scoop casein for a meal replacement... It makes a nice smoothie bro... With its all around ingredient make up, i have found this to be the best...

The plain chobani has 6 grams of suger and 22 grams of protien space. Flavored has double digits and lower protien everytime

Yeah it sucks ,,, no whole foods anywhere near me at all. Closest one is 1 1/2 hours away. No trader joes either same thing over an hour away. We go up there every so often but can't make it regular. Giant has a organic / whole food section that's a few aisles but it's nothing compared to whole foods.

If you cant go to whole foods or traders family, hit local grocery and grab the plain chobani fat free. Its the best bet at the best price for your area. Mixing your own fruit is a great idea, I also mix organic nuts and granola and some dried fruit everyday

I am using phd chocolate Cookie flavour protein shakes which tasted amazing at first but are now sickly. The label ,makes it out to be pretty impressive but I never notice a difference between different whey protein shakes to be honest.

Food is best.

Chocolate p-nut butter muscle milk was good 10 years ago when I was still a hard gainer. Now I read the label on it and cringe and wonder why I use to buy that so much.

N2BM whey iso. and the cake batter stuff. that sh!t is just awesome.

I know you only want to have 2 shakes a day max (real food is far better) but sometimes i just wana drink the cake batter, 1/2 milk, 1/2 water, dash of liquid egg whites.

I so badly want to put liquid egg whites in my shakes I just feel like I am the 1% that will get salmonella lol

PeptoPro for me, with Crystal Light lemonade powder. The stuff tastes nasty but I see results right away. It's pre-digested casein, I believe.

honestly, that two shakes a day thing is complete bull shit... i eat whey in my oat bran, egg whites, multiple shakes throughout the day, etc... and it has always worked extremely well... two shakes a day is a ridiculous theory that is completely untrue... I love to use whey as much as possible... casein, iso, etc...

Well I've got the Ticket for you for Egg-whites, Actually Two Tickets.
Muscle Egg is one, and they have Flavored as well as Plain
Egg Whites International is the other, and they just have plain Egg Whites.

The Deal with these Two Companies is that the Egg Whites are Pasteurized to Remove Salmonella and any other Bacteria.
Also they are Triple Filtered to remove the Egg Texture, so they are Smooth, and have No Real Taste, I like the Taste.
They are Non-Gmo, Gluten Free, Lactose Free, No Additives, No Preservatives, No Artificial anything.
They Ship them Frozen, I get them all the time, and they're still Fairly Solid when I get them, and they're from California............. JP
P.S.
I've only used Egg Whites International, because the Muscle Egg is a Newer Co.
Plus, I'm not much for Flavored Egg Whites, although Muscle Egg has Plain To.
