First time in the a$$, didn't feel too well

LOL, either gonna get some laughs or flamed hard. My first aas injection was last Thursday evening in my right glute with a 23g 1-1/2inch needle. Injected 1 ml at 250/ml, plan on running 500 mg a week split between 2 injections. The actual injection went well but holy shit did I feel like I got hit by a train on fri morning. I awoke full of sweat but had the chills, body aches, felt a bit like throwing up and generally just weak and sick feeling. I guess that's what they call test flu. As of now the muscle is still sore but much better feeling, fri morning it felt like there was a knot and it was definitely painful. I have a 3-4inch red spot around the injection site but I'm hoping it's just irritated and not infected. Still don't feel a hundred percent but not bad. I used my some test c I bought from a buddy, no lab info but it has barcode and batch number as well as mg/ml. My plan was to run 2 1/2 bottles of that and finish with a bottle of test c from alpha pharma through ds. Due to my rough first injection with the test c I have now I was wondering if I should ditch that gear and try using the alpha pharma gear and see if my body receives that any better. I'm also curious to see if my skin looks as irritated after injecting the alpha pharma gear into my left glute tomorrow? Any thoughts would be great. This is my first run with aas and I'm hoping it goes well. I have aromasin and nolvadex on hand but I'm gonna wait to take any until I feel itchy nips. My biggest concern is bitch tits but I've read I may not need an ai or serm while on cycle and not to take them if I'm not feeling any estro sides.
 
Couple of things:

(1) What brand is the test you are using from your buddy? Alpha Pharma is a good brand, your buddy may have sold you bad/dirty gear

(2) Draw a line around the 3-4 inch red spot. If the redness grows past the line, its an infection (hence the dirty gear comment)

(3) Start running aromasin at 12.5mg EOD - you do not want to wait until you have gyno symptoms to start treating them. You want to run 12.5mg EOD, and if you feel sides at that dose, bump it to ED. Do not wait to feel the gyno, by then it is likely already too late.
 
Thanks for the response, I don't what brand he sold me. I'm definitely leery of it though. I know he used a bottle and didn't get an infection but I would be more comfortable using something more reputable. I'll start using the ai as a preventative measure ASAP.
 
Its a virgin muscle so you will experience some pain. It might be your body's reaction to the gear and the gear may be perfect you are injecting a synthetic product into the body. Expect some reaction
 
I'm not a Fan of Large Needles, they make Too much Scar Tissue over time.
You may want to trade in that 23 G X 1 1/2" for a 25 G x 1".
It won't Inject as fast, but It's easier on the Ass, or anywhere else...................... JP
 
I felt the same way my first time, now after a couple cycles I actually look forward to it.
 
Im like JP, it probably couldn't have anything to do with that turkey injection harpoon you are using?

I Hear ya, I call those Large Needles, "Garden Hoses", Scare the Hell out of me............................. JP
 
Haha, I hear you guys with the large needles but that's not the issue here. Hopefully it's just a virgin muscle reaction and not bad gear. Maybe even bad injection technique. Not the needle size. I've always used 22 gauge no problem. Tried going to 25 and I think I'm going back down once I use these up. Might "prick" a little more but not all that other stuff ops got.
 
Good to know I thought the 23g inch and a half was pretty standard. I'll have to try a 25 after I burn through the box of a hundred syringes I got in the mail! I wiped the vial down with alcohol and also the injection site, my buddy injected it. He aspirated and injected relatively slow.
 
I had bad pip when I first starting using test, that's standard. You should begin to see less and less. How's that red spot? It's not growing or hot to the touch is it?

yup. I can actually get away with a 25 X 5/8 cause i don't have a fat ass!
 
23g are considered large? You guys should avoid hospitals I love sticking my patients with 18g needles and when giving vaccines ill use 20g IF I'm feeling nice or they don't carry the muscle mass to inject with an 18g. I work with a pretty healthy population but I really like seeing grown men cry.
 
The redness has basically gone away however it's definitely still warm to the touch and sore. I took a ml of the AP stuff in the left glute so I'm interested to see how it differs from the original vial I started with. The AP oil is much less viscous than the other stuff.

Heat the oil before loading...even the alpha. Inject real slow, a good 15 seconds per ml. I agree with stevesmi, probably a lot of needle movement.I prefer 25g 5/8" in VG. MUCH easier to control than ass shots.

Oh, wait, I see, you are talking about injections... Nevermind.

I hate ass injections, I'm always hit or miss with the muscle and I hate having a blob of oil just sitting in my ass fat. So, never again.

It could be test flu, it could be infected. It's your first shot, so I'm going to guess it's a combination of things, *probably not* infected. Is it hot to the touch?

This is a good sign.

If you push on the red spot, does it make an obvious indentation?

Your saying that's not standard last grear I ran thats the smallest (23g) the test p would flow through. Sorry to hijack

Back on topic does the bump feel red and hot? First reaction will be at injection site before systemic fever sets in.

(Krazieone at this rate we should have a sub forum show me your red bump I'll tell you what it is.)
 
No obvious indentation when I push in on that area, seems the redness and heat are gone. Anyone have an idea why I would get test flu so bad on my first shot but then swith over to the AP stuff and have no reaction whatsoever?
 
This is funny but some real shit at the same time. I have never used before so I came to this board seeking knowledge. But finding quality gear is a real concern of mine and not knowing what im even using because it was bought from the local roid head at the gym doesn't cut it for me. Don't think my employer would understand me calling out of work cause I used bogus gear.
 
Sorry guys still getting used to this app on my phone I didn't realize there was another page of responses. No fever, just felt off physically and mentally until yesterday. Probably making myself sick over worrying about gyno and wtf I'm putting in my body. I realize it's a little early to be worrying about gyno but when my hormones change I can definitely feel it in my nips they have always been sensitive. Took some Nolvadex and aromasin and feeling better. Still wondering why I had such bad test flu the first shot and nothing on the next shot with the AP gear? Also thanks for all the responses. I really appreciate it.

Bogus gear would probably just be some wesson oil. Wouldn't hurt you. Unclean "dirty" gear is what you don't want.

I get test flu on first pin...usually carries through first 4 or 5 days.doesn't get worse with second pin...just slowly fades out.
Just my .02...cut out the nolva on cycle.save it for pct if thats what you choose to use.just stick with aromasin 12.5mg EOD throughout unless sides worsen,then bump up it up.
 
You are real story kid. What you were going though is the re-induction of test lost in your body. Understandably, you were taken aback by this dilemma. Go with 21 gauge and if some says the other, fuck them.
I take 1,500-2,000mg a month with no problems, except for the orals.

After I did my first injection, the area felt like I got hit with a sledgehammer. I could barely walk, luckily there were a couple of canes and a set of crutches in the house.
I still rely on them from time to time.

It felt much better, thank you! 5 down and counting. It's been a real trip though, a lot of personal debate if this I what I wanted and blah blah! Plus I seem to be using a lot of aromasin, I'm still trying to find my sweet spot.
