Pic sums it up. They are the sweetest cats ever. The only thing they fear are children😂

bro dayum you got some nice property.. your trailer right on a lake?
It’s a river🙂. My house is very modest, but it’s paradise for me. It’s 200’ away from the beginning of a beautiful bike path that goes through three city limits to downtown. Right along the river. I can fish or go skiing right out of my backyard and I do very often. I could kayak all the way to New Orleans from my dock, and I may do that one of these days.

If it’s cold enough you can cross country ski the river. The ice gets a foot thick sometimes. I watched coyotes surround a deer on the ice and they ripped it apart.

If you have a shallow water boat you can go a ways upstream, about an hour by boat, amd it’s all wilderness. You can camp on islands, duck hunt, good fishing in the deeper pools.

I love it here. I could walk anywhere I need to go, but be in nature at the same time. When I was always traveling for work my neighbors asked my why I even owned a home, but for me going home is a full blown vacation. No where I’d rather be.

That's a great view, and that Aloe plant is getting big danggg.
I love my view. It gets a little loud and hectic basically having a Motorsport water park in your back yard, but I love it and participate as much as I can. The aloe sure hasn’t grown since I got it. A girl brought it over, I’m not sure how it got so big, but she used to live in Puerto Rico. The ones I saw in Mexico were monstrous. Blades 6’ long

6'? That's wild. Makes me want to visit some tropical places just to see that. My ex-wife had a huge aloe vera plant, but I always assumed that was her reward for being possessed by the devil. lol

Every single house I saw in Mexico had a giant aloe. It was like, necessary medicine.

Here’s one we got from the shelter. My daughter picked her. Turns out she was completely feral. Managed to crawl up the furnace and into a crack into the attic and stayed up there in sub zero Fahrenheit weather for 13 days. Pretty sure she found a couple bats to eat. We thought she was gone, but then I heard the faintest meow, so we baited a trap with warmed up liver and cat food and we left. When we came back she had thwarted the trap, moved all of the food to a spot where she couldn’t be got without cutting up the ceiling, and she was audibly pigging out on the food despite us being right underneath her. The second trap got her. She was not happy. We put a bell on her and she’d hold it to silence it and she couldn’t stand to be out in the open. She would always hide under covers and if she ever did come into a lit room she walked like someone who’d forgotten their towel🤣. She would flatten herself and use camouflage even. Strangest coolest cat ever. If I turned my red lamp on at night she’d come bask in it but if I moved she’d vanish. One day she got sick and died.

Here’s Luna, she came back to me after about four years. I had her sister too, and they were chipped. I had given them to a young family because my circumstances changed and they weren’t really getting the attention they needed. I guess they never got the chips transferred. It took me a while (three days🤷‍♂️) to track them down and when I did they were accusing me of stealing the cat that I gave them. Trashy people. Best cats ever.
