Veteran Log First Testosterone Cycle at 47 Log

Oh wow that's surprising it was them. Something must be up, usually they push cbd even if you don't need it. They came up with this bullshit called the "entourage effect" where if you have the most cannabanoids of all types on board they work better. About $75 a week in CBD being the sweet spot 😂 so for the people coming in for weed scripts they try their best to tack cbd onto it, as it's zero added risk and $400 more on thr script.

I never had it prescribed in Aus, literally got 1500mg full spectrum stuff from the local IGA and then eBay. You'll be able to solve this for sure man 😀 be awesome if it helps your anxiety bro, that zolof stuff sounds nasty, my old gf was on that and hated it.

That makes sense, CBD scripts can still be a hassle depending on where you are, even for non-THC versions. eBay or direct supplement shops usually have decent hemp-based options that don’t need a prescription.

If you’ve been stable for a while, tapering off Zoloft slowly is smart. Just make sure to do it gradually since serotonin rebound can sneak up if you drop too quick. And remember zoloft stops working after a while, probably not even working now. @waggat

Jaw pumps can happen on orals from increased blood flow, same as calves or lower back. increase electrolyte intake, add taurine 3 g daily, and boost cardio.

Just becareful coming off that stuff. Speak with your doctor about how to do it properly cuz those things can be tricky to navigate. I've heard horror stories about people trying to cold turkey things like Zoloft

The pumps hit everyone differently. Some guys calves, back, etc.

For me it wasn't lower back, close, it was my ass lol. My glutes kept locking up on me going up and down extension ladders. It was rough.

My abs locked up on me while I was driving and I almost pulled off the highway. I leaned my chair back and did some lamas breathing to relax. It was brutal.

You could be getting it in your jaw for sure. Your jaw is a muscle.

I took 5g of taurine a day split into 2 doses and some Pedialyte or electrolytes

To clarify, no real issue for me with the jaw pump. Didn't hurt or anything. Was just something I noticed.

That's good that it's not too bad. Hopefully it stays that way and you'll be good.

Ya those ab cramps are rough. Straighten out and breathe like you're giving birth. It helps a lot

You could say you damaged your gut with antibiotics and you can’t digest food, can’t sleep and you have bad inflammation in your gut.

Can say your going to see a gastro doctor for more testing and your waiting to see them

This is similar description to me and I was prescribed. Will dm you the name of the practice that prescribed me

treat it like any other recovery aid in the stack. Don't use it as a drug.

Jaw pumps for sure lol, watch out for the dense protien bars and try to avoid and extended fast pace walking in workboots lol. Taurine can help for some 😆😆😆💀💀💀
 
Was an off day from weights. I'm doing push, pull, legs and I've decided to try it 5 days a week instead of 6. Still did the following:

10 min incline treadmill warmup

20 min yoga style stretching and some abs

30 min incline treadmill
Sometimes less is more. Gives your body time to heal. Especially at our age.

lol fair take, at least you figured that out early. Some people chase that trip vibe forever and just end up fried, glue probably safer than half the research stuff floating around now.

That makes sense, gut inflammation and sleep issues are both legit grounds for that script. Saying antibiotics messed your gut and you’re under gastro review is accurate and safe wording for the consult. :D @Lucid

EQ would make sense here since you’re aromatizing that high even with Adex daily. Dropping test slightly, say to around 300–350 mg, and matching EQ close to that will help balance out e2 without crushing it. EQ tends to lower e2 a bit so you may find you can back off the Adex once it stabilizes.
Test C is fine to swap for Test E, they’re basically interchangeable other than release curve.
With 400 mg/ml EQ it really depends on the carrier, some labs make it smooth but many cause pip because of the solvent load, so split pins or warm the vial if needed. Get the new bloods before adjusting too much, but the plan makes sense on paper. :D

Exciting stuff man!!! This is almost exactly what I'm gonna do for my first stacked cycle in summer, execpt I'm gonna use Turinabol now I've found a source and save Anavar for winter. I'm very much looking forward to the Anavar how are you finding it bro?

Also nice work on the concentration curl increase :) Im gonna push the weight up a bit more next time too.

Hey mate, yeah the Anavar seems good. Nothing crazy but definitely noticed an increase in strength and endurance. Even if I push a few hard sets, I've often added another.

Overall the cycle and even just the TRT before it feels awesome. After years of no strength increases or physique changes it feels so good to be making progress on both. I might actually write a post at some stage on misconceptions of PED's though (I had them for sure). It's still a lot of hard work so big respect to all the people here making progress hey!

I'd go 1 step further and say all drugs. Let people have what they want. Regulate it and make it safe. Then use the tax profits to pay for rehab and medical clinics to support their use

That's the key to training bro..it's not just the peds leading to your progression it's the consistency. You will see when you come off this cycle, you will still keep making progression in the gym.

Dialing in your diet and staying consistent in the gym is the key to success. The peds only help.

Yeah definitely seeing that. I liked to blame my poor genetics (and while this counts for something) I wasn't doing any cardio (used to being a 'hardgainer' when young), wasn't properly tracking macros and didn't really have a plan.

Genetics can hold you back too but only so much. Genetics has more to do with aesthetics than anything else. .

You can build mass if you want, it will just take a lot longer. Requires more dedication and consistency. Just means when you finally get there you'll have earned it more than others.
 
I had some weird ugl nolvadex that made me feel HORRIBLE, but that may not be the case for you. If you start taking it and notice dark thoughts and really low mood, I find it helpful to remember that it’s just the chemicals playing tricks on me. Lots of other loggers taking nolvadex and not reporting this, could have been my product. I like aromasin. It’s the only actual AI I’ve taken. It works straight up, and I can’t even tell I’ve taken anything other than complete remission of acne and nipple sensitivity and improved bloodwork
I took 20mg nolva twice a day and @LevButlerov had to advise me to cut it in half after only about 6 days. I immediately noticed I was irritable and royally pissed off at things and people which is not good, I generally try and be super chipper. Felt like an Operator Syndrome "trigger" that I couldn't snap out of. I hear you.

Yeah feeling like I've got everything pretty sorted at the moment. Sleep is the last piece of the puzzle. Hoping some combination of cutting from 6 to 5 days training, a deload week and CBD will get that sorted.

Got lab results from yesterday.

I've inserted the hormone page and just attached the rest. Looks like I got E2 generally under control. Note on timings and doses:

08 Oct - Blood test
07 Oct - ~0.7mg Adex
06 Oct - 2 x 0.5mg Adex
Before the above dates was 0.5mg/day (which I don't think was quite enough and I was feeling nipple sensitivity hence the above increases).

Yes E2 was under control in latest labs (126 with range of <150) @LevButlerov

That was with 0.5mg Adex/ day plus some extra doses in there.

So do you think 1:1 test to EQ is ok if I have dropped Adex to 0.5mg EOD?

I do remember you being and insanely high aromatizer though. Maybe the 1:1 would work well for you.

It's an interesting situation. I know @Mobster doesn't like people controlling their e2 with steroids, but in your situation it might be good.

Yeah who could forget E2 of 360 on 130mg/week TRT 🤣.

And even the latest result which was ok was with ~0.8mg/day Adex the two days before the test as I was feeling symptoms on 0.5/day.

Ya you were something special. I remember thinking it was some kinda mistake when you started but you had multiple tests.

It will be a positive if you ever run GH. With a low dose of test you'll have plenty of E2 to fuel growth while running GH and it won't go to waste. Gotta find some silver lining here for you bro lol

This is super cool... it's above my paygrade but I love watching you coach this out @LevButlerov. However this ends up it should go in the EQ thread.

Not much to report as I've decided to take a de-load week. In the past I found poor sleep to be a decent indicator of needing one.

I either kept the number of sets the same but dropped all weights by ~10% or dropped the top set altogether.

Workout today.

Not much to report as I've decided to take a de-load week. In the past I found poor sleep to be a decent indicator of needing one.

I either kept the number of sets the same but dropped all weights by ~10% or dropped the top set altogether.

Solid work even on a deload week. Smart call listening to your body and pulling back when sleep starts slipping; it’s underrated how much that impacts recovery and performance.
Those SLDLs still look like solid volume, and reverse lunges from a step with 24s on a deload? Respect. Good mix of mobility, cardio, and core work too, dragon flags during a deload is a flex in itself.
Hope the lighter week helps reset things and gets the sleep back on track.

Had to make some adjustments as it was one of my kids birthday and I had some cake. Note to Aussies out there, Coles white chocolate mud cake is my go to. Heaps better than a lot of fancy cakes I've had.

I do remember you being and insanely high aromatizer though. Maybe the 1:1 would work well for you.

It's an interesting situation. I know @Mobster doesn't like people controlling their e2 with steroids, but in your situation it might be good.
S.gentz is running double to one eq/test. He says other steroids don’t effect his s2 at all.

I bet it all comes down to health. Some of it is probably quantifiable. Such as: skewed liver enzymes and higher e2.

Yeah it's funny.... Aussies are known for being laid back but unfortunately in reality everyone seems to love rules and authority. The government has happily given us that. Wouldn't mind hearing @vanlife_gymbum 's take on this.

It seems the entire western world is turning into a bunch of nanny states. Here in Canada they're coming for our guns like they did to you guys back in the 90s was it? AUS and the UK have always led the way in terms of nanny states but Canada is seriously trying to play catch-up lately..it's getting scary.

They're trying to push in a bill right now that will allow them to just look in our bank accounts and Internet histories with "reasonable grounds". Of course they determine what's reasonable right...

You'd be right. It comes from an American TV commercial, they hired Steve Irwin to say some Aussie sounding shit and those are the lines they gave him. There's also this Australia themed chain restaurant that sells Fosters beer - only place I've ever seen it.

Yeah bro it's atcually a full on police state, they just hide it away well. I had a ground floor apartment on King Street in Melbourne, it's the main dodgy street in the central city with all the strip clubs and shit and right across the road was one of the unmarked police stations, they are EVERYWHERE and I watched this one for a couple years and it's crazy how it works. There's a huge surveillance camera network called the Safe City network which lots of govt departments have access to, I did some work on it one and saw it in person and it's scary, so as soon as anything happens like ten policeman appear seemingly out of thin air and are right there... they come out or these places.

Australia and NZ are also full members of the five eyes network, and were not quite as bitshit crazy obsessed with surveillance like they are in the UK but Australia is not far off... the cops are dodgy as fuck too.

But yeah, I agree with @BeMe the West are full on Nanny states now... NZ would definatly rival Canada in that department. I can't get testosterone from a doctor for normal valid reasons, but if I appointment myself into some group they could score PC points out of they'd bend over backwards, probably offer to do the shot right then and there incase I want to go away and think about it.

Totally bro! probably because they're so fucking expensive.. my old girlfriends family tradition was to get them for Christmas and I seen other families do that too. I like them and all but that allergic response or whatever get when you cut yourself with it while peeling them is a bit dodgy and I dunno, something seems dirty about them. I don't know what to think about seafood, I'd love to be able to gather it and fish myself and be more self sufficient, but keep forgetting we've completely poisoned the earth and I live not that far from the main port, there's gonna be tons of poison in there...

I'm really not sure man - I do want to learn though and I'd drive a few hours no problem if it would get me away from pollution. The type of fly fishing NZ is famous internationally for isn't anywhere near here from what I can tell. And all the fisherman I've talked to were like hobbyists and didn't even eat the fish. One guy was laughing about how he hates it and haven't eaten it since he was a kid... like why wouldn't you take up hunting or something instead... going fishing all day then eating at McDonald's on the way home is so fucking lame. I have a trip to this abandoned walf planned next Sunday with a guy who gets muscles off the rocks somewhere near, I'm keen to see that. My mates and I used to go to this giant cave on the west coast of thr south Island evey new years for a week and drink San Pedro cactus and pick muscles off thr rocks and throw them straight on the fire, the steam builds inside as they cook and cracks them open for you. They were real nice... they're $8 a kilo at the supermarket but I'd probably rather buy the ones preserved in juice if I'm going to get them from there. You're in Victoria aye? I had a mate who's family lived in Frankston and had jetskies and a boat and shit and they were fully into fishing and eating it.

NZ is small enough that any good fishing is close if you know where to look haha. I could eat muscles everyday i love seafood, must come from my asian/spanish side lol.
Yeah bro vic for me! One of my closest mates lives in franston! That part of port phillip bay has good access to decent fishing but south end of the mornington peninsula is killer for solid fishing.

I fish westernport mostly which is the smaller of the two big bays in vic and the fishing there is top notch. We chase heaps of game fish up the east coast when the warmer weather sets in though, kingfish, marlin, yellowfin etc.
