using anadrol for strength gains?

Interested in getting more strength. I’m using Anadrol currently and I’m at week two. I’m not really seeing much yet though I’m doing 10 mg a day. Should I increase the dosage to 50 mg or should I stay where I’m at? I’m currently benching around 350 lbs and I’m 220 lbs.

10mg Anadrol won’t do much for strength, you’ll need 50+

Anadrol is popular in the power lifting community for a reason, and that’s because it works. Unfortunately it will wreak havoc on your organs. Liver and kidneys specifically. If you notice you have bloating, gas/dhiarea or loss of appetite, it’s time to stop immediately!!

I would personally opt for other compounds and stay away from orals but that is entirely up to you.

Is there a reason you are keen on raising your Bench pr? Is it because you compete in powerlifting or just for the fuck of it?

I ask because I’ve seen many dudes tear pecs over this, and I’m one of them. Suffered from 2 minor pec tears one on each side of my pecs years ago.

I still hear the sound, it’s like a balloon filled with water pops.

It’s really not worth it, because you’ll be out of the gym for 6 months atleast.

10mg isnt going to do much, jumping straight to 50mg will have its own problems.

We are shooting from the hip by giving you advice based on next to no information from you brother, what im saying is coming from a good place. No one wants to give advice that will get a brother hurt or effect his health.

Whats your cycle look like currently?
Whats your history with training and nutrition?

starting a log will provide you the best help here not only to assist you with short term bump in your bench numbers but long term strength development.

if i had to give a short answer, 50mg anavar is a safer option. But thats a guess for for situation.

10mgs ed of anadrol not going to give you much, how did you even cut that dose? usually caps or pils hard to cut to 10 out of 50.
Get to 25mgs and see how you feel first before you hit 50.

Welcome to EVO bro and good question!

Like @BCGains well said it can be dangerous boosting your strength too fast and "50+" from 10mg is way too fast. I always advise to start at 25mg for your first entire cycle of anadrol. Even at 10mg I woulda said you can bump it to 25mg and applauded you for being conservative but 25mg is fine to start even for a first timer. 50mg is playing with fire and you might tear your pec like BCGains did twice and there is diminishing returns on anadrol over 50mg anyway unless you're competing. I've been 220lbs myself before and 50mg was way too much, for example. You may be able to tolerate that dose but the next step from 10mg is 25mg, then if not 37.5mg. We have no idea what else you're running either so Tamoxifen/Nolvadex might be a necessity with anadrol and is in most cases as it's a weird oral that won't show up on your e2 yet binds specifically to the receptors in your tits and causes bad gyno and fast too.

You'll see this a lot on here but you're going to have to start a log so we can dial in a good cycle for you and not just throw a random anadrol dose at someone who's age we don't know nor cycle or experience etc. I'm sure you get it.

Authoring a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread using a full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
It will take 15-20 minutes max.

Do you still want to have kids? I recommend becoming as learned as possible on steroids in this order:


  1. PCT (after steroid usage how can you come off in a healthy way to get your natural test, hormones and HPTA back up and running)
  2. Diet/Supps (we must see you have this dialed in with the proper macros and calories and supplements)
  3. Training (we need to make sure you're training is consistent and proper)
  4. Steroids (then, if you trust this forum which you should, we will get you squared away for a proper cycle suited and tailored to you)

When it comes to anadrol A little goes a long way. I like 50 mg a day. That would be a potent dosage. You'll certainly get great results on that.
 
When it comes to anadrol a little bit goes a long way. I've always done well on 25 mg a day 50 mg is a little hefty. You'll start getting side effects.
 
I'm a big fan of Anadrol for sure. It's a great little oral steroid to use and you'll get great results on it. Highly recommend for sure.
