Veteran Log 2026 lifestyle and cycle log - Testosterone, Deca, Proviron Retatrutide

Thanks brother. That is a very succinct answer. I will start this next week. Interesting you mention the scales, as they literally have stayed almost the same for quite a while, yet I know there are changes physically.
At the same time of day as well?🩵
If you can. Less variables the better

Photos and measurements are a great tangible way to track. More importantly- how you feel !!

Well how I feel is the problem in this scenario. If I hit my set goals I feel great, if I don't it bugs the hell out of me until I do. But I will do it in the morning fasted. Easiest time for me. Thanks for caring bro. 🩵

Of course bro.

But “how you feel” is more about mood/energy/health over goals/looks.. once you nail the first 3, everything else will fall in to place

Can’t wait to see the side by sides 🔥🔥🔥

Measurements 1 month is ok. Weekly overkill.

Enjoy

Daily thoughts
Yesterday I struggled with getting to my goal for Protein for the day and it messed with me. I was wondering why and a brief interaction with @BeMe today actually gave me the answer. And it was obvious.

My whole life I have been totally goal focused and always looking to hit certain targets I set. Whether that was with work, school, sports or just about anything you can think of. I always have difficulty with things that are conceptual or artistic in nature, because the goal is not clear to me. Its why I do projects not policy work career wise.

This is also why I struggle with body building as the goals are difficult to set for me. I can't grasp the concept of a certain size, width, muscle shape or balance of body parts to make a whole package. I love the idea of it but can't grasp the art of it. I do love seeing others do it though.

With powerlifting it's pretty simple to set goals, I don't really need to explain that. Getting there is the challenge, but the goals are crystal clear and once you get them, you reset and go again.
I really am too old to change that now and I honestly accept that. It's so ingrained in me that I can try (and I will try) certain divergences from the path I usually take and do something different, but I accept that I will always drift back to trying to achieve a set goal.

Took total advantage of the rest day. Sat on my arse most of the day, watched a couple of movies, had a nap or two 🙃 and even ate a semi cheat meal.
Just what I needed and now I am looking forward to hitting it hard again tomorrow.

You’re a beast with these weights. Your pics showcase that.
I never really thought much of the goals of bodybuilding but i think I can relate with you, so don’t think your alone. I too have a goal to bodybuild but wouldn’t be able to put it in writing. I like what some of the others state regarding pictures.
We may not be able to put pen to paper for these goals but with the aide of pictures we will see progress and when said goal has been met.
Good shit EVO family and great post brother!

Thanks brother. It is an interesting mental dynamic and I extremely grateful to have brothers and sisters on Evo who can bring clarity to where confusion usually lives 🩵

Love it there . Explains the wild life !

Totally get the goal focused thing , I think it's good to have targets in life. Stops you been lazy. Sometimes you need to switch off tho and go with the flow
I agree, as I am obsessively goal focused. This go with the flow thing sounds interesting 🤔 might give a bash one day 🤣🤣🩵

Man, this is why I love your log so much.
The insights and thought processes at the end always have the best takeaways. 💙🫡

I've noticed your diet is always on path and structured, the here and theres are nothing in the end compared to your consistent usual.

Your volume has me up and doing curls now 😅 Definately something for me to aspire to. Looking grouse in the photos my man. I want arms like that! 💪🏻another great update.

Thanks brother I really appreciate that. Everything I created has been my base with changes from reading other logs mostly.

Got the volume on arms from @Farmboy log. The diet structure from several of the sisters on evo especially @Panda22 and @AliceInIronland
whose diets rarely shift and the protein is all @LevButlerov .
It's the beauty of Evo brother, I learn something every week. Today's is AI from @PrinceDaddy .
I also learn from your log on multiple occasions. Small things can make big changes overall. 🩵

Training
Bench+chains 5x20,40,60 3x70,80,90,100,110kg
**Widened my positioning on the bar. Was stronger than last time. No shoulder pain.

Declines 5x60,72,82,92,102,112.5kg
**Wider again but this was not as easy as last time. Zero shoulder pain though.

Incline flys 3x12x20kg
**Same as I have been doing with different pace in all three lifts.

Daily thoughts
I changed my hand position whilst benching today. I was taking training photos and I noticed my elbow/ wrist position was terrible. The photos showed this to me. That is invaluable knowledge.
I changed to a wider hand position, and found the lift was more controlled and there was less shoulder pain. I can't recall why I had the narrower grip but it is now back at a wider one. That was great day in the gym. Taught myself something 😉

I had an interesting conversation this morning with my beloved about Evo, and as it works out, the mental health benefits it can, has and will continue to give.

Due to Evo's very nature of being anonymous, for the most part, brothers and sisters are able to discuss topics that are generally not regarded as acceptable in "normal" society, whatever that is 🙄.
I have read many times sisters on Evo state they can freely discuss topics, seek advice and feel unhindered in what they wish to discuss. That is healthy mental health right there.
The brothers on Evo have unloaded on many topics (infidelity, divorce, sickness, death ect) that normally would be bottled up and never discussed. Here they can unburden themselves mentally without concern and know they are supported.
I must give a lot of credit to the moderators here. I have personally not seen a conversation thread stopped simply because it wasn't about training, peds or food.
Just another reason you have to love this Evo Family and the sanctuary it provides to the community we find ourselves a part of.

Much Love Evo Fam 🩵.

Bet you get alot of lorikeets there hey.

Plenty of volume there brother.
Bet you feel it today.

I might have to take that que and record some form to review...
When I was stronger and doing bench at Micks place, I found that hand position could make or break the lift. I used to love narrow grip. Olympic bars are very different and Im still not used to them.
Do you reckon you can get more drive with the wider hand placement "competition" type of grip? Is that shoulder width or further out?

Bang on about Evo being good for the mental, and I have to agree, its appreciated how the logs can have room to discuss topics outside of training. I'm grateful I've found such a grouse community and been welcomed into it. Theres not many people I can discuss the lifestyle or peds with, its just not understood by everyone hey.

The mods here go to great lengths running the shop in the background. 💙

Another choice post brother. Love your work.

Thanks my brother for reading once again. Keeps me soooo very honest in what I log.
I have pretty good leg drive and so I didn't notice that today. But what I did find was my balance was better and therein the drive and fight was cleaner in execution. Today was first time using this for a while so I will analyse it more as I go. But at present big 👍👍 especially for reduction in shoulder discomfort 🩵

I agree totally!
It’s so much easier to be consistent and make training/meal/life etc plans when your goal is clear and tangible.

I’ve always struggled with “aesthetic” type goals too but performance based are clear as day. The body usually follows suit too and represents your hard work.

Powerlifting is an epic goal too! Such a broad range of things to focus on and hone in! 🏋️‍♀️

Ahhhh I get ya... I forgot about the foot placement and leg drive part, ive been completely disconnected from that part lately 🤯 Got me keen to get back on the bench now and pay more attention to the whole show.

Great job with the workout brother, picking up and improving your form by reviewing your footage is fantastic, something that never even crossed my mind, and doing so to alleviating the shoulder pain is a big win.

I wholeheartedly agree with your comment about being able to be open and share on here.

Much Love Evo Fam 🩵.

Always love the pics and getting caught up on your strength training bro!

Yesterday I struggled with getting to my goal for Protein for the day and it messed with me. I was wondering why and a brief interaction with @BeMe today actually gave me the answer. And it was obvious.
Isn't EVO great for this?

Very dedicated and steady meal plan. Fun to see the old school over half dozen meals a day too!

BP 114/59, 67 RHR
This is a really good sign, BP holding healthy and steady.

Laterals 5x15x7.5kg
**Burned like blazes. Had to pause often in last 2 sets to make 15 reps
I love the dedication though... nothing wrong with pausing to make sure and get the set done. That's the black hole we need to go into to force new growth and progress.

90% is to get the shit in my head out and onto a page, (so to speak) just like now.
Absolutely right. It's therapeutic whether anyone reads it or not.

It is about the personal attainment of a set goal and they would still write it if no-one was reading it
Exactly

Are you still liking this? Planning on running it long term?

I wonder if we can class this as a new mental illness 🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Yes, but a good one! The kind that doesn't hurt anyone else and helps our own selves. Like a productive OCD lol.

@Kopite67 the Sustanon and Deca are looking outstanding and that's a good mix with the reta. It's interesting to see the yin and yang effect of the appetite boost and appetite suppression.
I admit it's an odd dynamic brother. I am hungry at certain times but get satisfied a bit faster. The other elements of Reta are doing what they should so I will be definitely keeping it in 🩵

Training

**Widened my positioning on the bar. Was stronger than last time. No shoulder pain.

**Wider again but this was not as easy as last time. Zero shoulder pain though.

Incline flys 3x12x20kg

Just another reason you have to love this Evo Family and the sanctuary it provides to the community we find ourselves a part of.

and about EVO discussion, I think many of us truly are iron brothers and sisters, we all have our life stories, how can we be a community if we don't love each other and share right? :D a true family shares all and we try our best

Daily thoughts
It's been a while since I have been truly humbled by the iron in a gym, and today was absolutely one of those days.🥹
Last week I added a pure Shoulders day to my program as I knew they were a weak point, today I found out how weak that point was. 😬
Started with Shoulder Press which was as expected, not bad, not great, just ok.
Then it was cable Laterals. I decided to start with no weight to ease into things. First Rep was "that felt heavy", by the 5th rep I was hoping to get to 15 reps. I did but wow!!!! It was not easy. I did the next 4 sets with multiple stops and still no weight. The truly humbling part was I wanted to reduce the weight but couldn't, cant go lower than zero.
Rear delts were worse. After 3 sets of no weight I had to stop as my shoulders were totally cooked.
The iron never lies. Going to obviously take quite a while to bring my shoulders up to an acceptable level, in my eyes anyway.
Thank God I have back tomorrow where I can feel a bit strong again 💪 🙃

I did the next 4 sets with multiple stops and still no weight. The truly humbling part was I wanted to reduce the weight but couldn't, cant go lower than zero.
Rear delts were worse. After 3 sets of no weight I had to stop as my shoulders were totally cooked.
The iron never lies. Going to obviously take quite a while to bring my shoulders up to an acceptable level, in my eyes anyway.
Thank God I have back tomorrow where I can feel a bit strong again 💪 🙃

I like the shoulder day! That very combo of exercises helped cap my delts. The way the lateral raises burn after the shoulder press sets is no joke!
Very nice bird pics too :)

Wow you've got some cool wildlife where you're at. @Kopite67 that looks like a snapping turtle. Those things are very aggressive where I live.

I admit it's an odd dynamic brother. I am hungry at certain times but get satisfied a bit faster. The other elements of Reta are doing what they should so I will be definitely keeping it in 🩵
its something you might want to stay on a maintenance dose going forward

You've got some cool looking birds, my goodness. That one bird has a huge head and smaller body. It's crazy how they are developed. @Kopite67

Yes brother I am trying to get more size and strength in them 🩵, but I can't lower the weight when there isn't any on the cable machine yet.
@Kopite67 more strength and size on your frame would look really good. I think 5 or 6 lb would be perfect for you.

Got a couple of great snapshots of the wildlife brother!

I always struggle with stamina in shoulder workouts.

Have you had issues with your shoulders in the past?

Thanks brother. Just minor twinges here and there, particularly in the right one. I want to solve these now before I really start pushing on my lifts and be found wanting.🩵

Straight arm pulldown 4x12x20kg
**New exercise. Felt every area of this in my lats. What a great exercise. Here to stay.

Daily thoughts
Gym was hellishly hot and humid today. T-bar's were great then the heat really started to take its toll during pulldowns. I was cooked (literally 🥵) by the time I finished.
I absolutely prefer the colder weather to train in. Roll on winter....please 🙏.

Much Love Evo Fam 🩵.

Daily thoughts
Took total advantage of the rest day. Sat on my arse most of the day, watched a couple of movies, had a nap or two 🙃 and even ate a semi cheat meal.
Just what I needed and now I am looking forward to hitting it hard again tomorrow.
Sometimes you need a day like this.

Diet is always on point Brother!
Loving the food porn 🤤
Your volume is solid and You pushed through the heat like the weapon you are.

It's good to see more photos of you coming though too my man. Looking strong and vascular, moving some crazy weight.

Love that you're getting better sleep too. Better than any supplement or add on aye.
Thanks brother 🩵 Everything is clicking at the moment inside the gym and yes feeling a shade more comfortable with my body dysmorphia 🫣.
Funny you should say that about sleep.......whole new story coming.....🩵
