Approved Log My Cut Cycle Log: Road to 200lbs or less! My first cut ever.

Good morning Evo family! Got blood work back. Things are still not great yet so I am going to hold off on starting deca and more test for now. I am going to try everyday pins to see if that helps with calming the red blood cell production down. I am not posting the bloods yet because I am still waiting on estrogen level test to come back. So when they are all in I will post them. But dropping from 200mg weekly to 160mg weekly did drop my hematocrit down from 258 to 255. But because I been giving blood to try and help now my ferritin tanked to 16.

Also I am increasing mounjaro to the 15mg weekly. I am doing 10mg every 5 days right now see how that goes. Then If this doesn't help with my weight loss I will probably stop and start Reta and drop that dose down to a starter dose and see how that goes. Hopefully at the 15mg weekly and more frequent dosing will help with the curbed food noise.

Have you thought about just adding in 1 mg of Reta on a Monday and Thursday for the extra fat burning properties?

Also, Cagrilintide gives the strongest appetite suppression if you're really struggling with sticking with your diet add a small dose to your Mounjaro.

I have actually thought about trying that. Have you tried it and how was the appetite suppression with that? For now going to try this see how it goes. I am pretty much maxed out on the recommended dose per week now. Now as far as diet goes I can stick to maintenance but can't really cut my intake down to a point where I can lose a significant amount. Of weight without feeling like crap in the afternoons on the jobsite. If my performance as far as work was not a big deal as far as physically working I could handle cutting easier I think. I have tried going low carb and I just die in the afternoons and don't want to work. Also found out my ferritin is at 16 so hope fixing that will make it better.

Here are the rest. Today's workout was just kind of random leg workout. We are out of town so my brother and wife joined me today. We just used what we could at the gym here.

That my estrogen results weren't in by the time for my doctor appointment yesterday to see if lowering my dose improved that but as long as I feel good I am not to worried about that one.

I got the results in. Of course my doctor or the nurse didn't order the right blood work for estrogen. He ordered total instead of e2 sensitive estradiol. I was frustrated over that but anyways. Hopefully tomorrow I will have time to get my training up loaded and my blood work. I have to upload my blood work from my computer. I am just jumping on here to post some food prep real quick.

@kcates I cut up a top round today, made into shish kebab myself. Really easy to make and doesn't take long at all on the barbecue.

@kcates The steak definitely looks amazing and the roast in the crock pot is sounding amazing as well. I'm sure it came out looking like a million bucks.

Here is my blood work. I have sometime this morning to sit at the computer and not have to do work. I am pretty frustrated that the doctor messed up and did not order my E2 and ordered total E. Total E doesn't tell me anything really. I am not changing anything at this time. I am going to continue to stay on my TRT at 160mg. We did decide to cut back on the blood donations to every 3 months instead of every 2. No AI. I would like to see my red blood and hematocrit get better before I run another cycle.

Yeah man! We having our first pot roast off of it tonight with carrots. I will try and remember to get some photos. I am so bad about tracking food to log. I just been so busy lately with family and work. All I do everyday is train eat work and sleep. Repeat. Except today I got the day off from life because of a colonoscopy. Time to catch up on other things.
 
I haven't set up my camera on a tripod to get photos. I snapped a quick one in the bathroom just to get an updated one. I am finding truly cutting and still feeling well for work is difficult for me. It was way easier when I was using caffeine to eat less and blow through the day doing construction. Now off caffeine I feel really well and not using an unhealthy crutch to survive. I still believe I am addicted. Once an addict always an addict. I know if I take one preworkout I will be back on like donkey kong again. I just can't jeopardize my blood pressure again. I will continue to recomp and slowly shed the weight and slowly put some muscle on. Which is fine by me. I am really super happy with where I am now. Life is great as far as I feel finally. I can work all day, I can train hard, family life is great and sex life is great. It's all I could ever ask for as far as my health goes. But I will still continue to strive to be better. I just feel best for work at around maintenance. Work for me is most important. The more I work the more I make. I don't work I don't get paid. The joys of being the one man show at my business. I have no aspirations of growing and bringing on people. I am just not a big enough company to acquire the skill employees I need to do the quality of work that I do. I am working on another business project that hopefully will workout and I will work to scale it. Then hopefully it will be less physical in the long run. Then maybe I can do some more serious cuts and not be such a drag on myself. We will see how that pans out. In the meantime just keep plugging away.

Got my 50 year old colonoscopy done. No polyps, no hemorrids, and normal mucosa in the whole colon. Perfect diagnosis. Unless something comes up don't need another one for 5 years again.

Yeah, i leave in 30 minutes. The prep is the worse part. It makes sleep crappy. Woke up at 3 couldnt go back to sleep so I went ahead and went to the gym for some light work. Afterwards I am going to refeed. Then go to sleep for awhile.
Yeah a nice meal, then taking a relaxing shower, then going to sleep is a good idea.
 
Yeah, always good to know there is no cancer in there I guess. Honestly I don't even think about it until they call and say it's time again.
its something like taking ai preventive :D
 
Mental note update for myself: Added 50mg of deca a week for joint relief and 3 iu of HGH daily February 17th. Blood work again 6 weeks from the 17th.

I don't feel anything yet but it's only been 12 days. It's a long acting one so not judging quickly with this one. Going to ride the 50mg weekly until 6 weeks when I get blood work. Then see what the blood work says and see how I feel. I did post my last blood work finally and posted an updated picture that you missed. Still working on the blood so decided not to do anything crazy right now until I can figure out that sweet spot where I can recover my blood numbers to green. Before I blast off again. Then I know the TRT where I go back to when I land from blast back to recover.

You're looking good leaning out a bit and a bit of size :D @kcates and I dont see the issue with caffeine or nicotine tbh its such an overplay to stop using it especially in your tough job

@kcates I'm in a huge minority that does not consume any type of caffeine at all. I do not consume tea, coffee, or anything like that. I want my body and brain to operate at maximum capacity and when you consume caffeine you're just finding your body.

Starting to see those outer layers of your abs. That's a good sign. @kcates as you said, keep plugging away man. It's going to get better and better as you go.

We both are brother. I love caffeine but my heart apparently doesn't and I got to listen to my heart. Now that I been off of it for months now I actually feel really good with out it. I am glad I was able to quit.

I do not take any iron supplements..doctor doesn't want me taking any right now. I am going to get my own blood work in about 4 weeks and I will be getting e2 then. I feel fine now so I don't see the need for it at the moment. I know how I feel when I get to high on estrogen and need to back off.

It causes my blood pressure to go up is why I don't use it. I couldn't ever get my blood pressure in range no matter what I tried and even doctor was telling me it's not the caffeine making my blood pressure that high. If you remember I posted about this. As I tapered off the caffeine weekly I watched my blood pressure come down with it. Now I am off I have normal blood pressure average 120/65 now. It just doesn't work for me. If it wasn't for my blood pressure I would still be using it. I love caffeine! One of my two favorite drugs, caffeine and testosterone!

Training:
I am going to run MAPS Symmetry a unilateral program to help fix any imbalances from lifting heavy doing powerlifting. Then I will probably do a bodybuilding split.

Diet:
  • Daily caloric intake: 2500-3000 calories a day depending on if I eat something outside my normal eating routine.
  • Macronutrient split: Only thing I track is my protein intake. I am shooting for 200-225 grams of protein a day.
    • Meal Plan: This is my normal day in and day out routine. If something special comes up then it alters the plan but I have been consistent with this for the past year.
    • Breakfast: 6 whole eggs, a protein shake.
    • Lunch: beef stick, pork jerky, and a protein bar while driving around for work
    • Dinner: usually somewhere around a lb of meat depending on what is being served. I will also have some vegetables typically at this meal.
Supplements:
before the gym I have Bucked Up Woke AF

My other daily supplements
  • creatine monohydrate 10 grams x 2 daily
  • HMB 2.5 grams x 2 daily
  • beta alanine 5 grams
  • sea salt 1.5g
  • 4.5 potassium
  • magnesium bisglycinate 72 mg morning
  • psyllium husk 25 grams a day
  • Thorn Basic nutrients 2/daily
  • CoQ10 300mg daily
  • magnesium glycinate 1500mg daily before bed

Medications:
  • Valsartan HCTZ 320-12.5 1x daily My blood pressure runs in the 130's /80's
  • Mounjaro (tirzepatide) 10 1x weekly (Tuesdays)
  • Testosterone Cypionate 200 mg weekly injections 2x weekly

Additional Notes/Goals:
Lose weight and get down to a goal weight of 200lbs or less. I don't care about percentage as much as I just want to lose weight, have good blood markers, good blood pressure and be healthy.

@kcates good on you man. It seems like you're taking your health seriously. That much I can respect you for. A lot of people just ignore things until things get to the point where they have to go to a doctor.

I should probably get it done I would think. How much does something like that cost and what does it entail exactly? I've heard stories from people but they seem to always exaggerate. @kcates

Mine was covered by insurance. I didn't pay anything when I went. It's easy to do. They get u in a prep room. Get y in a gown. Hook up your iv and the vital machine. Then they wheell u back to the procedure room. Since I am on a bipap they put me on oxygen. Then the tell u to roll on your side. Then they inject the drugs to knock u out. Then u wake up get dressed and go home to eat and rest. It's weird I watched her inject the white stuff in my IV and I always try to stay awake but it feels like a second and your waking up in the room you were prepped in. Cleaning your system out prior is the only bad part and it's not that bad really. I got up and went to the gym prior since I was able to drink water until 6 am.
 
I haven't set up my camera on a tripod to get photos. I snapped a quick one in the bathroom just to get an updated one. I am finding truly cutting and still feeling well for work is difficult for me. It was way easier when I was using caffeine to eat less and blow through the day doing construction. Now off caffeine I feel really well and not using an unhealthy crutch to survive. I still believe I am addicted. Once an addict always an addict. I know if I take one preworkout I will be back on like donkey kong again. I just can't jeopardize my blood pressure again. I will continue to recomp and slowly shed the weight and slowly put some muscle on. Which is fine by me. I am really super happy with where I am now. Life is great as far as I feel finally. I can work all day, I can train hard, family life is great and sex life is great. It's all I could ever ask for as far as my health goes. But I will still continue to strive to be better. I just feel best for work at around maintenance. Work for me is most important. The more I work the more I make. I don't work I don't get paid. The joys of being the one man show at my business. I have no aspirations of growing and bringing on people. I am just not a big enough company to acquire the skill employees I need to do the quality of work that I do. I am working on another business project that hopefully will workout and I will work to scale it. Then hopefully it will be less physical in the long run. Then maybe I can do some more serious cuts and not be such a drag on myself. We will see how that pans out. In the meantime just keep plugging away.

Yeah it was. Just glad I figured it out just sucks it had to be my favorite drug causing it.

It causes my blood pressure to go up is why I don't use it. I couldn't ever get my blood pressure in range no matter what I tried and even doctor was telling me it's not the caffeine making my blood pressure that high. If you remember I posted about this. As I tapered off the caffeine weekly I watched my blood pressure come down with it. Now I am off I have normal blood pressure average 120/65 now. It just doesn't work for me. If it wasn't for my blood pressure I would still be using it. I love caffeine! One of my two favorite drugs, caffeine and testosterone!
It’s the improved sleep that bright it down🙃. That’s what the doctor is missing. People metabolize caffeine at different rates. If you’re a slow metabolizer of caffeine you won’t sleep as restfully. Every single time I get poor sleep my blood pressure is crazy
 
Got my 50 year old colonoscopy done. No polyps, no hemorrids, and normal mucosa in the whole colon. Perfect diagnosis. Unless something comes up don't need another one for 5 years again.

Yeah, it was like last resort thing to eliminate. I had tried eliminating everything I could think of in my life trying to not go to that because I love caffeine. I was addicted for sure. I still crave it now. I know I get that buzz one time again it will escalate. I was diagnosed in my 20s of being obsessive compulsive disorder with my drinking and drugging. I had to go through tons of drug counseling that was court ordered during my years of getting in trouble for drug dealing.

Yeah it's a non painful experience. It does cost a day of work. Afterwards your not suppose to drive because of being on anesthesia. Plus your lazy from the anesthesia so I just take the whole day off. My wife has chrons disease and gets the regularly and she goes home and sleeps. She says it makes her gassy. The worst is drinking the stuff the night before that cleans your colon out. It's not that bad if you get the one you chug down 2x 16 ounces of magnesium, potassium and salt mix. I just knock it out and drink some water to chase it. Then hours later you shit for like 4 hours. Then u can sleep ok. Then u shit a little in the am. I woke up at like 5 am and went to the gym.

I basically went on Janosic analytics and did research on the wholesalers that were coming back with good results. Then found contact for that wholesaler I chose and contacted them directly. I am not suggesting anyone else do this but this is what I did and testing my stuff out personally.

I don’t mind that. As long as it’s working out. I think about $1/iu is as cheap as it can be had. Rx pens are $10/iu.

I’m still going to use our sources because we’d be in a bad place without them

Yeah that stuff they make you drink does taste pretty nasty haha.
 
I take telmisartan still. Might need to back down the dose but I read it's not a bad med to be on. I got to do a better log of my Bp regularly to give my doctor before I have that discussion. I rather not be on any drugs if I don't need it.

Yes it was. The highest dose on different ones at different times. I have been on 3 or 4 different ones. I have tried valsartan, losartan, telmisartan is what I am on now. Telmisartan has other benefits other that studies have shown for kidney protection, improve insulin sensitivity, and cardiovascular protection.

We got some new Panatta equipment in the gym

Here are some pics of what I been working on lately. Rebuilding a stage and adding steps on each end. We had to tear half of it out to get the lift in there to reach the ceiling. I am building an AV desk.
Good training keeping it steady :D and I like the new equipment I've seen the new machines show up all over though I'm a big fan of smith
