Throwback to 2010. The 'Mighty Mitt's grip competition sharing the strongman stage. I'm doing a Farmers Walk with an Inch (172lbs and a thick handle) dumbbell in each hand
Bros, you got the video of that? You just walk around with those heavy weights or is it a gripping competition?View attachment 195980

No. As far as I know ALL US Arnold Classics ever have been in Columbus, Ohio. The rest (Brazil, UK, etc) are elsewhere. That said we drove in both days from the next state where a buddy and his family lived. Was this in Indianapolis?!

Was. It's only personal challenges now. Plus I don't wanna be a 'good masters competitor' vs winning the whole damn thing. One of my last best was in either 2012 or 2013. I competed against and, among others, beat two athletes who'd been national standard (and way bigger than me) strongmen. That was, I think, 'Britain's Most Powerful Hands 2012' (I'll see if I can find photo or two) a I also won the 'Grip Tour of Britain' when it was held in Leeds and beat Andy Bolton (1st 1000lb deadlift record holder) both times. After that the fire to win went.that's really good, Mobster. It looks like that you are a legit competitor.
Legit glasses but worn to create a 'look'. I legit got hired cos I had that 'look' plus I could do sh*t lolway to go Mobster, you are an absolute champion. You gotta love the glasses too to focus.
Man, the guy in the middle is a hog. He won't let you in for a picture. Why didn't you tell him to move over a couple inches so you could fit yourself too?View attachment 196529
Your top 3 (I won). Second biggest crowd. The Arnold was 2,000-4,000 people. This was a part of a beer and band festival and we were all in the main tent. Around 2,000 as we finished.

You bet. I actually paid for 2 beers as the scores were totaled as I was that confident I'd won. Had one then and one right after lol. Then 2 more Guinness with a steak dinner

A bit. Happy cos I'm winning and probably I had the most experience of competing in such events. Plus it's all over. Time to relaxthat shows your personality, I guess.

The issue with Martin Fitzwater this past Arnold weekend is an example of someone NOT handling a loss well. I lost one year by less than 3 points. Pissed me off. Not to lose. But by so small a margin. Soooo fkin close. Came back and beat the same rival by just under 21 points. BOOM!yeah people do react differently. It's amazing, everyone's personalities.

At this event I was top 7 in the world. Prior to that I'd been top 4. But also I'd won 4 British and two European championships.
It helps me, when posting, to KNOW from actual experience, just what it's like to compete to a world class level. Regardless of the sport. The desire, drive and even obsession is very similar.
Bros, I mean videos of you doing it.There's a couple (hard to find) on YouTube
