I never went above 150mg per week though.
Maybe there’s toxicity issues but they are possibly dose dependent.

Tried it for a bit at 100mg/wk but with a bunch of other gear at the time so don’t know how much it was doing but at least there wasn’t much pip - supposed to be not that bad if you brew it properly

I have read not to brew it over max 100mg per mL , if I get it in I'll be conservative and only do 75mg/mL to start.

Bold cyp and particularly ace have been known to have terrible pip.
Also eq was first synthesised in an undeclynate ester. My guess is that the ester gave the most efficacious effect on horses back in the day and it just carried on.
Nandrolone cypionate is another interesting one where you’d wonder why it’s not more common. Good question.
Na bold cyp has no pip if the chemist is good.
EQ was synthesised with the undecyclynate ester as it was easier for vets to administer and on a less frequent basis
I would say Nand cyp hasn’t been made as it would barely be different from Deca as the half life between cyp and dec are 3-4 days difference max. Bold Cyp has a saturation and clearance rate 2.5 times quicker then its common EQ

Again if pip exists in either batch I will tweak things until I find what works best for the compound.
This is all what if scenarios anyways, I should get the raws, test them and make it before I flap my flap hole anymore.

The ester acts like a release mechanism:
Boldenone undecylenate (Equipoise / EQ) → very long ester → slower release
Boldenone cypionate → shorter ester → faster release
Once the ester is removed in the body, both become the exact same active hormone: boldenone.
Approximate half-lives
Boldenone undecylenate (EQ): ~14 days (commonly quoted range roughly 10–14+ days depending on source/model)
Boldenone cypionate: ~6–8 days
Because of this:
Time to reach steady state (saturation) A rough rule is ~4–5 half-lives.
EQ (14 day half-life):
~56–70 days (8–10 weeks) to approach steady state
Boldenone cypionate (7 day half-life):
~28–35 days (4–5 weeks) to approach steady state
That’s why people often report:
Cypionate “kicks in faster”
EQ feels slow and takes ages to fully build
But at equal blood concentrations, the anabolic effect is coming from the same drug.
The only small practical difference beyond release speed is ester weight:
Undecylenate ester is heavier → slightly less actual boldenone per mg
Cypionate ester is lighter → slightly more actual boldenone per mg
Example: 500 mg/week of boldenone cypionate delivers slightly more free boldenone than 500 mg/week of EQ.
So EQ and Boldenone Cyp aren't different compounds — it’s more like comparing testosterone enanthate vs testosterone cypionate: same hormone, different delivery profile.
I prefer shorter half-lives due to the ability to adjust dosages quicker or to stop them in total quicker if you get unwanted side effects.
Say you are like @Kouta and your e2 drops below what you want. Faster acting ester means your body will absorb and clear quicker if you drop to a lower dosage or drop it in total.

The main benefit here is the e2 management, being able to run it without that creep effect where e2 crashes to low due to the overlap.
