Just wanted to get some options on " What Time Of Day" do you fill the best to train?????????????? I train from 6:30 to 8:00 AM... I'm kinda geared that way from working so long at my job Thanks Evo Brothers..............................AnalogMan

Best Time Of Day To Train: Evening Instead of watching the evening news, go lift. University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg) researchers had 16 males train for 10 weeks either before 10 a.m. or after 6 p.m. Workouts consisted of 45 minutes of weight training followed by 45 minutes of cardio. The evening group increased muscle mass by about 3% more than the morning group and lost about 9% more bodyfat.

the morning you just got done resting.

in the afternoon you had a whole days worth of food and water.

to me its a wash, just do whatever fits your schedule.. i don't believe in training late as it can affect your sleep patters.

I've trained both at 5am (currently) and 5pm (did this for YEARS). I don't see a different in either. The only time I saw a difference was when I was adjusting my lifting schedule. Once the adjustment was made and I adapted after a week, I was g2g. I don't feel like I'm any more or less strong. My .02

I lift very early in the morning to avoid the crowded afternoon douchebag herd. That is literally the primary reason, and it gives me a great start to the day. My job is pretty physical also, and I don't want to go into the gym half drained from a hard day at work. I want to go in fully rested and ready to give 100%

Your muscles will need fuel so ill try to train after I have consumed a few meals, usually in the afternoon time if possible. Im not a morning person tbh and as I said, I like to get in some meals before I hit the gym. Have done later workouts evening sessions etc but afternoon if possible is my favourite time..

I prefer early evening because of my schedule and the fact that i'm not a morning person. I also like to have had a least 2 or 3 meals that day before training. I feel i have more energy that way.

i remember reading an article saying your body will be able to work its hardest or have highest strength/output mid day or slightly after that.

I train in the late afternoon/evening. I'm a zombie in the morning till about noon then I start to pep up. I'm Definitely not a morning person at all and I'm not motivated early to train.

I've done it mornings, afternoon and close to midnight, what ever fits into your schedule is the best time to train.

Jaaaa guys like i said bfore any time but a need to eat a least 2 meals bfore i hit the gym, sample if i go in the morning in my days off from work i wake up at 7 am make a protein shake 8:00 o'clock 8 white eggs with oat meal and 9 o'clock some yam and sweet potatoes with chicken bread ten minutes later my pre workout than im ready jaaa

Schedule is my determining factor with 4 little kids. I have lifted early, mid day, evening, etc. and I really liked the 4 o'clock time slot but lately I am lifting at 9:30 pm after putting the kids down.

When ever possible , I used to train from 4 to 6 every evening and loved it , now it's a case of train when the mood takes me and enjoy it as much as possible ,
