Got some Test E in my veins

BROS!!!!!! I had the scare of my life this morning. I was performing my Thursday morning injection of Test E 300mg and NPP 100mg (just for joints, tendons, etc.) and when I pulled the needle out, I noticed blood in the part of the need closest to the syringe. Right after that, I noticed a taste in my mouth. Now, I used to be a junkie (7 years ago) and I know what it is like to have a taste in my mouth after shooting up. Immediately, I started freaking our thinking I was about to die. Yes - hysteria set in. I took my BP and all was good, calmed down enough to think logically about this situation and deduced that, most likely, I will be fine.

Now to my logical thinking.... When I got the taste in my mouth, it was well after I pulled the needle out of my glutes. This could have totaly been hysteria, because if I would have injected the whole shot in my vein, I would have gotten that taste in my mouth before I was ever finished injecting the shot, because 2CC through a 23G takes a little time. I also felt the small knot at the injection site, so I know that most, if not all, of it went into my muscle.

Needless to say... Because of my (supposed) brush with death, I am a new man today and have a different perspective on life ;)

Lesson Learned
Aspirate.... Don't care what anybody says. Aspirate....
 
You Probably just Nicked a Vein ~ It Happens ~ No Worries.

lol yea the first time is always scarry! I injected my bicep one day and once I pulled out the needle blood poured out of my arm and all over my restroom! that was scarry. just be careful. check that you haven't hit a vein before you inject.
 
I pulled out of glute once amd a stream of blood shot a good 8 ft across my bathroom. Lol. Scared shit outta me.
 
Same happened to myself while pinning my quad. The pressure actually pushed the syringe out of the muscle. Blood looked like fireworks at the Taj Mahal on New Year's day.

Nicking a vein, I am okay with. Injection 2ML of oil/steroid/other chemicals, not meant for IV injection, I'm not cool with. I have my fair share of scares when it comes to IV use and I don't want that crap again. Aspirating will tell me if I am directly in a vein, that is for sure. If I am, I go to another spot. I only have one heart...

Again, I would have passed out.... I'm just glad to hear I'm not the only with some crazy, scary stories.

Always aspirated here...and only once drew blood...tossed that and started over because I'm not keen on reinjecting blood into a pocket...call me paranoid but I do not want an absess.

you are going THROUGH a vein going IM either going in or back out, you aren't actually doing IV

I understand you were a junkie before or what not but you are paranoid for no reason. just focus on doing IM deep into the muscle and you will be fine otherwise injecting steroids might not be the best choice for you if you are going to freak out over a drop of blood

abscess from injecting a drop of blood into your muscle?
 
It happens bro.. Most likely went through a vein or nicked it. First time I did it I freaked the fuck out also.

Also if you aspirate and find blood, pin in a different area. No need to throw out your gear. A little blood isn't going to hurt you..
 
I don't know which is more scary, seeing my blood shoot out of my ass after pulling pin out, or the first time getting that damn Tren cough/heart attack feeling. if I hadnt have read all about Tren cough, I probably would've called 911. Seriously thought I was dying, but a lil blood at the end of the pin when you pull out is nothing.

Agreed - a little blood is nothing. Now, a little blood accompanied by a taste in your mouth, which indicates something is going to your heart, that's another story.

The Tren cough is much worse. I personally thought it was cool seeing the blood shoot out lol

But the fucking Tren cough was out of this world. My girl pins my glutes for me and she was so nervous when I was coughing my lungs up.

She screamed "are you ok?!" It brought me back to my weed smoking days, I replied "that was some good shit!!!"

the metallic taste happens here and there. its nothing to worry about.

again maybe injectable steroids aren't the best idea for you long term.. have you looked into andriol?

Thanks for the input! This event gave me a scare but I didn't mention that I was going to quit injectables. If I feel like I get a big enough scare to stop, I will definitely look into andriol.

Hi, New here.
That would have freaked me out too cuz I am new at using test and pinning myself. I was scared to give my self a shot and also having to aspirate but I got used to it.
I just finished my first Test-E only cycle , 14 weeks using Testoviron-250 at 500 per week on the last week tapered off with just one shot at 250.
Now starting 3rd week on PCT clomid. 150/150/100/100/50. Now I am back in the states and wont be back to Thailand until i get off work in fall but when i get back I will try
Test and maybe Deca not sure yet i was happy with just the test.

Drop the superiority complex. The dude is posting about a legitimate concern for some things. In relation to steroids we all know he'll be fine, but he's on here asking questions/posting rationally. Leave him be

Couldn't have said it better myself. As for an update.... yes.... I made it and I am fine.

How is that a superiority complex. He said maybe they aren't for you and gave him and alternative. I would consider that being helpful and looking out for the guy
