Idk.... I don't think it's gonna happen. It would be well deserved but you know how it goes.
When it comes down to it Kai is not doing what it takes to strengthen his image as a public figure like phil.
I hope he wins but if I were a betting man, Phil will take it. Phil been hiding in the dark. He's not one to show his final product I think we will be just as amazed by his improvements too.

Yeah phil just comes off as such a dick I miss good humble mr.oly like coleman and Cutler . Kai looks sick no big belly and he has the condition he had back in 2012 or 2013 but ik phil has prolly been killing it too cause he knew what was coming he knew kai was gonna come bigger and leaner I think this year will be the closest its ever been between these too and there will be no clear cut winner plus there is alot of politics in this game and thats something kai is really poor at doing

Kai will hold down the silver again this year. Sad to say but he'll never be #1, Dexter Jackson has a better chance at winning again before Kai ever does.
The sport has worked for years to be accepted by the main stream media and they're closer than ever at this point. With Heath's overall package, they will for sure keep him on top so he can further their goals.
Phil does come off as a super cunt, especially when he interviews or does training videos on low carb high protein diets leading up to the Olympia. He's as arrogant as can be to begin with and coupled with that diet he has his period 24/7!!!

This is most likely true. As good of a bodybulder as Kai is, his "stripper like" posing routine is looked at very odd by most people. Plus with all that reallly weird shit Kais done in the past, that will also have a negative effect on him, even if he has changed. They want the head of their sport to be a "role model" also. Just look at the NBA, Kobe completely wrecked shit in 2006 with a shitty team but Nash still got MVP because of the whole rape trial.

I am a big Kai Greene fan. I watched an interview he did for a TV talk show and the host asked him if he was juicing. The look on his face was priceless when he answered "Just oranges"

Dude... the synthol thing needs to stop lol. It's not supposed to look like synthol that's the point! Synthol is not supposed to have a look. You shouldn't be able to tell at all. Kai hasn't openly admitted anything about that so who knows but you can't just go judging people's arms by synthol use. I'd say it's a good bet almost everyone on that stage hits a little SEO somewhere but who knows.... most of them do it right.
It's not supposed to be obvious if they use it.

It will be interesting how Kai will perform on the next Mr. Olympia. I don't know why, but for some reason I got a feeling that he's not going to win.
there is way more to the Olympia then just how you look in a selfie
so I have no clue. last year we had so many opinions and yet there are only so many seats at the Olympia, so no idea how you can form an opinion if you weren't there to actually watch the routines in person

Bonacris I dont think head judges vote if im not mistaken they just mediate the panel and I mean politics more in the sense that phil is an easier to accept mr o were as kai fucked a grapefruit and wears some weird get ups but in my honest opinion kai is more of an inspiration to alot of people then phil is and so what if kai is weird I think if there was ever a chance for him to win this will be it

My opinion Kai will drop to 3rd. I think someone is gonna through off the balance and step up.
Without a doubt though I believe phil with take Sandow number 5 with authority. I think he's gonna come in looking ridiculous. I think Kai massed himself out too much.
Regardless. I'm really really looking forward to this olympia. I think this is where phils reign will end he will take Sandow 5 and we will get a look at who is coming to upset the ballance for next year.

I really didn't get the politics at first but it is starting to make a lot of sense to me.
I'm hinting they're trying to choose a champion based on the way they could attract more people (potential customers). I think the qualities of that champion has to match whatever is mainstream in terms of look, personality, charisma and thinking process.
Of course the body builders are still judged with their physics i.e. Conditioning, posing, etc., but what do you do when two competitors are compared very closely and choosing who wins becomes difficult? I think this is where the politics kick in.
As much as I love and respect Kai with his wise words and his approach to life being a solitary type of person. Because I too love being by myself and independent most of the time but his personality will not sell to the masses.
It will not compare to a person with a good looking wife, vocal, fashionable, loves car, business, etc. because most people want what's cool.
(With that argument note also that they WILL NOT choose a champion that can barely speak English or could not talk for more than 1 minute).
So imagine a new upcoming bodybuilder with the shape closely similar to Kai and Phil but has the personality and like The Rock.... Body building is saved!
I think Phil will keep winning because he appeals more to the general public but I really wish for new champions that could inspire the people more to be better not to really "diss" each other. I thought bodybuilding was about brotherhood and being the best you can be in your own terms.
