Starting Ostarine Cycle

Hello everyone fairly new here did a ton of research and finally decided to order some Ostarine. I'll be updating my progress through out the weeks.

Bit about me is I run my own janitorial business(tons of cardio) and have always been the tiny skinny guy all through school and early 20s. I'm currently 26 now been hitting the gym 7 days a week for the past 14 months and have gone from 136lbs to 160-162lbs at 6"1(yay for beginner gains). I've been eating the same foods every day for the past 6 months and have a good routine down of 3000-3600 calories a day depending on which day of the week it is(carb load on heavy leg day for example). I've noticed my gains have slowed down a lot due to work and some personal issues with an ex so kick starting myself again with Ostarine.

136lbs to 160-162lbs is a huge accomplishment! Great work. Did you order your sarms from sarms1.com? A dosage of 25mg/day for 8-12 weeks would be a good dosage for a first ostarine cycle. Remember that SARMS can only be legally sold as a research chemical and any capsulated SARMS product is most likely fake or laced with a pro hormone.

I personally don't think you need all those over the counter supplements but that is a different thread in itself.
 
Yup sure did order from sarms1.com. Had great customer service and very fast shipping I was surprised. Have been doing 25mg as I read on the ostarine information. Really helpful stuff here very thankful for everything.

Yeah I stated out wanting fastest gains possible without loosing my natty card but the amount of money I have to spend on them is getting unreal so I started looking for alternatives to going full steroids and that's where sarms comes in.

Quick update to my progress. Noticing a lot of changes so far. First thing is that 3-3.6k calories is not enough lol I'm finding I'm getting very very lean and need to start force feeding. I've gone from about 14% to 12% while still being fully carbed. Pumps are lasting so long and my working weights have gone up about 10lbs on average. Recover time is unreal as well doing my heaviest splits this week and no soreness or tightness and no more shoulder pain on on bench. Very excited to see how far I can go for this cycle
 
Today marks 8 days on ostarine and results are starting to show.

Calories for each day have been between 3100-3600 at 40% carbs 40% protein 20% fats.

Only thing I've been lacking behind on is sleep. Been an average of 5-7 hours a night from working late or going out with some girls. Going to really work on sleeping more for the rest of the cycle.

Gym performance has gone up a ton. I'm still weighing in at 160-162 but I've lost a lot of fat. Getting veins in my shoulders chest and calves now as well as seeing obliques and serratus now so I've probably dropped to 10-11% body fat from 13%. Strength has been phenomenal but could be in part from fully carbed as my bench squat deadlifts and bar press have gone up 10-20lbs. I've set new prs on every exercise so far it's been that good.

Recovery is where I'm really noticing changes. Yesterday was my heavy squat so I decided to put ostarine to the test and really "over trained". Workout consisted of 20 sets of 15 squats with 165 full range pause at bottom, 360 in plates on leg press for 20 sets of 15, 100lb goblet squats 10 sets of 10 then 5 sets of leg extension and leg curls at 90lbs. Foam rolled last night before bed and stretched feeling tension in hamstrings and glutes. Today I feel like I didn't work out legs yesterday.

Question to anyone should I be working even harder or will that be sufficient on my caloric intake?

That calorie intake intake seems sufficient to me. Remember that muscle building is a slow process. Adding in too many calories too fast will only lead to fat gain. Be patient.

Alright thanks that's what I was worried about. I was told that I should do heavy carb bulk of 4-5k calories but I dont want to have to worry about the fat after the cycle.

There is no need to make carb bulks with Ostarine - just give it time, and be gradual. So much carbs will be counterproductive.

Ok thanks I'll stick to my usual 200-300g of carbs a day.

2 more days marks the 2 week mark and I'll have some measurements and hopefully some progress pictures.
 
2 days late on my update sorry guys.

16 days in now getting some major changes happening.
My measurments are as follows:

Neck 14 1/8 1/8 increase
Shoulders 46 3 inch increase
Bicep 14 1/4 3/4 inch increase
Forearm 12 1/4 3/4 inch increase
Chest 40 1/2 4 1/2 inch increase
Waist 28 1/2 1 1/2 inch decrease
Hips 32 2 inch decrease
Thighs 21 1/2 1 1/2 inch increase
Calves 14 1/2 1 1/2 inch increase
Weight 163

I'll be updating with comparison pictures later today.

16 day update. Did my best to stand in the same position and have phone in same position to really show differences.

Also how old are you and whats doseage? Any noticable sides?

I'm 26 years old and doing the recommended 25mg a day. Next Ostarine cycle I'll try 30mg a day just to see if I can notice any different results with it.

No noticeable sides so far. 0 suppression full sex drive no headaches no sleep troubles nothing. The only noticeable sides that I am getting is increased hunger and the feeling like I can workout forever in the gym.

I am currently up to 163 now still about as lean as I was in my previous update picture so if I was to guess I'd say about 5lbs gained so far. Next Tuesday will be 6 weeks and considering cutting down to 5mg for a week then stopping for 4 weeks and picking back up again after blood work is done. My results are starting to stagger nothing like when I first started so I think I should complete the cycle now instead of waiting until 8 weeks.
 
No acne either? I am prone to acne but dont know if it would affect it.

I'm very prone to acne as well I have lots of scars on my back from it but I haven't had any difference compared to normal. I usually get about 1 zit either back upper chest or face at least twice a week but has been no increase or decrease in occurrences.
 
Interesting. For me, and I suppose for other acne prone individuals, my biggest worry about using ostarine and sarms in general is getting worse acne. I guess this is a bit redundant but have you not experienced an increase in oiliness either?

Yeah I was slightly worried as well getting on it but as it is different then steroids I figured it would be fine so I gave it a go. Actually decreased oil production but that could be from where I live as we have been getting -20-30c weather for the past couple weeks which really dries things out. The first week where I noticed the most changes was no increase in oil though as that's where I am most prone as well.
 
Back to the first post, I've done that myself in the past with the weight gain in a short period, that takes a lot of hard work an a lot of time you should be proud of your self for that accomplishment. Good job

Back to the first post, I've done that myself in the past with the weight gain in a short period, that takes a lot of hard work an a lot of time you should be proud of your self for that accomplishment. Good job

Thanks bro was a ton of hard work and learning. Sorry I can't personal message you back I don't have a 100 post count to respond but to answer your question. I'm not sure what kind of gains I should expect to keep I'll keep this thread updated though. I have put on a good 6-7lbs of muscle so far while loosing about 2% bodyfat. My main focus is building muscle as I'm already below 15% body fat before starting and I'm at a good 10% now if I were to guess crazy veins and striations in my chest now. You can expect at least from my experience is a ton of endurance in the gym and a phenomenal recovery time. I'm obsessed with arms and shoulders so I've been training them every day and getting good results without tightness or cramps so it is indeed working. My first 2 weeks was extreme hunger which has subsided and I haven't had any side effects at all.

Thanks for the update, if you can keep it updated I'd appreciate it. My main 3 things I'm wanting to follow is the gains of course, how much is kept, an the sides. I'll post my cycle as well when I start to help others as well.

Don't be sorry. Strength went up really quick for the first week MY main lifts went up as follows. (I train purely as a bodybuilder so I don't focus on strength or looking for 1 rep max and if I don't use perfect form I go down in weight)

I haven't gone up in weight as I have a problem called Radial tunnel syndrome in my forearms so I have a lot of trouble going heavy.

From what ive read, I would take a mini pct. Even though ostarine is only 10-20% suppressive, I wouldn't feel comfortable without taking one.
 
I agree 100 percent, the websites I've read have said in the range of 5-10 percent suppression but still that's plenty enough to take one just being safe in my opinion.

Hmm, I would ask that as a separate thread and get a more qualified opinion. I don't want to give wrong info as I have never used ostarine (yet...). Someone like muskate could easily help you out.

You bet I've been tracking everything as I go despite not giving very big updates here just a casual thing.

Yeah I have about 24 days of core nutrition alpha left over. I have been taking that but stopped when I decided on taking ostarine and will use as a pct. Once that's done blood work and starting the next cycle if all comes good
 
Have you noticed any effects with your vision? With the older sarms s4 or s1 there's some post about that but ostarine is suppose to not have that problem. I'm not saying it will or you should worry just trying to be safe ya know..

s4 has vision sides because it binds to receptors in the eye. Ostarine does not bind to these receptors.

For me, the vision sides are what scare me off of s4.

I have NEVER read of vision sides and thats a lot of reading... Really only thing to be worried about for ostarine is the suppression.
 
Yes I am probably in the summer. I wanted to start off with something mild and am currently using a product called Anafuse. Ill do a thread on that after I am done for anybody wanting to know about results. After that cycle I will most likely use cardarine (GW) then once summer comes, I will do a cycle of ostarine. I don't want to just jump in to something, I want to approach this new phase in bodybuilding gradually.
 
Smart, I just finished a bottle of tribulus test the natural booster Afew weeks ago an I've also stopped all creatine until I start using the ostarine Just giving my body a break from things to heal up if needed. The only supplement I use now is amino acids an that's just on days I train. And of course protein.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of response work got super busy the past few days.

Another big update here measurements are in and another photo shot. No where near the results this time then I had the last picture and size update sadly I missed way too much sleep.

January 14th 2016
Neck 14 3/4 6/8 increase
Shoulders 46 1/8 1/8 inch increase
Bicep 14 3/8 2/8 inch increase
Forearm 13 3/4 inch increase
Chest 42 1/8 1 1/8 inch increase
Waist 29 1/2 1 inch increase
Hips 32 1/2 inch increase
Thighs 21 1/2 No change oddly but way more cuts despite squat and leg press going up (can post leg picture if anyones interested. I originally wanted to from the start but my start picture disappeared.
Calves 14 1/2 No change here either :(
Weight 162 Still at the same weight.

Today is 36 days in. 1 Day over 5 weeks.
I've gained about 3lbs of scale weight. Lost 2 inches around my hips and 1 1/2 inches around my waist in the first 16 days so I would say I have gained roughly 5-6lbs of muscle so far.

Very curious. Have you experienced any supression???

No suppression at all as of yet. Balls are still good low and same size sex drive still as high as ever and still no side effects at all other then being tired but I am pretty sure that has to do with my 5-6 hours of sleep for the past few days.
 
How many ml a day are taking an have you took the whole time? You probably posted that already just asking to know what to expect from 30 ml a day.....

25ml per day for the whole way through. Cycle for 6 weeks which will be this coming Tuesday. I could probably do 8 since I haven't had any suppression or side effects but doing this specifically for a spring party in may. 4 weeks off then a 7 week cycle and I'm clean in may

Plus I don't know if your stacking creatine with ostarine right now but I've read it works great with it for the muscle hardness an such. Are you stacking creatine with it by the way?

Yeah it is quite a bit but had to do everything possible for gains before deciding to hop on some sort of gear. That'll be nice I got full measurements so will see how it goes.

PCT I'll be taking is Core Nutrition Alpha. A test booster I've used multiple times in the past and had good results with so should be great.
 
Been off cycle for 4 days now. Noticing no changes so far in my results but I have gone back to being normal in the gym. When I don't get enough sleep I feel very tired in the gym instead of so-so. My max working weight has stayed the same for every exercise but I do get tired so much faster. Possible side hard to say but I am falling asleep much quicker and easier now I am off. Quality of sleep has gone up a ton as well but this could be just from going back to the heavy fatigue after working out compared to when on the Ostarine.

Yeah true but the days where I got 4-5 hours on ostarine I was still pumped up in the gym more then I am now with 6-7 hours so did play some effect. Yeah all strength gains so far have stayed the same.

My weight started at 162lbs in a bit of bulk with barely visible abs and almost no striations. Weight today is 164 with full visible 6 pack, obliques, serratus, mid chest and shoulders. I would say at least 5lbs put on very hard to tell because of how much fat I did loose but the measurements don't lie.

Sleep was not effected just was working more hours due to the holidays so getting enough sleep was troublesome at times.

Yeah they were my main focus on this bulk. I've got a small frame at 6 feet so bringing up my shoulders chest and upper back was my main focus since my waists under 30 and Hips are narrow. Next cycle will be shoulders and arms focus. Crazy about the boulder shoulders lol
 
I feel ya there, in my area a lot of ppl worry about is having a big chest an bench pressing 500 pounds, I'm more for the look of a bigger an more cut back shoulders an legs myself...

Just over 2 weeks now no side effects at all. Going in next Wednesday for blood work but I feel great so I doubt I'll see anything out of the ordinary.

Results have mostly stuck. One thing I have noticed is carb load and pump is no where near the same. Always looked like I just walked out of the gym while on ostarine so took a bit to get used to. I am still between 160-164 depending on what I eat through the day. Strength has remained but I do get tired a lot faster from lifting the same as I did on ostarine so I've had to tone my weight down just a bit to keep up with my regular rep ranges(10-15).

All in all I would say I kept about 3-4lbs of muscle from a 6 week cycle.
 
Good deal, that sounds like a good result to put on dry weight I'm looking forward to starting my cycle soon as I get my new work and eating schedule worked out.

Most of the major cuts went away. I still see the obliques and serratus in the mornings under the same diet but as I eat and drink through the day they disappear which is pretty normal while not on a competition diet. In the gym everything comes back out though from the pumps so really depends when you look. As I said on ostarine you look like your fresh out of the gym 24/7 everything pumped and cuts everywhere so it mostly stays just depends on your diet.
 
Do you think running a 8 week cycle would get more results? An are you planning on running another one?

Yeah once my 4 weeks is up I'll be doing a 8 week cycle. With workouts and food for each day to track my progress with bit better for everyone following.

Should be much better then the previous cycle as work has slowed down a lot so I can focus more on meals and sleep. Hoping to hit around 170 for this next cycle and really focus on my arms shoulders obliques and serratus. I feel they are my weak point now that I have built up my chest and back so much from the last cycle as I put a good 6 inches of size on.
 
I feel ya, my weakest points are my shoulders as well with my frame I'm not built for bulk 6'2 209-210 slim built but it's getting there as I age the weights starting to stay on me.

Hi, I have a question. I just got a bottle of GW and Osta. The dropper is in ml. I'm trying to figure out how long a bottle of Osta lasts so I can order a few more to stay stocked. How many ml did you use to get the 25mg dosage. Online it says 5ml. So I'm confused. The bottle looks small. Im searching for an mg dropper. Thanks.
 
I think I figured it. I checked the site again. The product description says 20mg/ml @30ml..so if I dosed 10mg, I would use .5 on the dropper..I hope that's right. Can't find any replies or other threads confirming.

Hey bro sorry for the late response. Yeah you want to dose 0.5 on the dropper to get your 25mg. My first week I had it messed up and was dropping at the 0.25 for some reason thinking it said mg instead of ml. Enjoy your gains man stuffs unreal.

Started my second cycle on Wednesday after my blood work came in. Everything in normal ranges minus my blood pressure slightly elevated but that's normal as it runs in my family.

Fairly big post to update my last 2 days.

Started cycle Wednesday Feburary 10th planning to cycle until April 27th for a 11 week cyle bit different as planned, going for max gains on this one.

My gains have dropped a small amount as expected going off cycle and being it was only 6 weeks still made pretty decent progress.

Wednesday I got my extreme hunger again like last start of cycle and ate a total of 6600 calories lol. Clocked in 11 hours of sleep as well.
Workout was Chest and arms
Incline dumbbell press 30-40-50-60lb dumbbells for max reps 2 sets each weight
Standing hammer curl bar 45-65-85lb max reps 2 sets each weight
Hammer grip bench 65-85-105-125lb max rep 2 sets each weight
Pec deck 130-155-185lb max rep 3 sets each weight
Ez curls 40-50-60lb max reps 3 sets each weight
Cable crossovers 25-35-45lb max reps 3 sets each weight
Typical workout for me nothing out of the ordinary except for the hunger.

Thursday still extreme hunger ate 5200 calories and clocked in 12 hours of sleep.
Workout was back and shoulders.
Wide grip lat pull downs 100-120-140-160lbs max reps 2 sets each weight. Got 3 extra reps on both sets with 160
Seated military press 30-40-50lbs max reps 3 sets each weight. Was repping sets of 15 with the 50s so I'll be going up tomorrow or Monday for next shoulder day
T bar rows 55-80-105-130-155-180lbs max reps 2 sets each weight. Managed to beat my pr with 180 for 4 reps on a previous 2 reps.
Dumbbell shoulder super set front raise-lateral-raise-bent over raise. Did 10-12 reps on each exercise for 3 sets with 20s when I can usually only get those numbers with 15s.
Extremely good day can't wait to hit deadlifts on Sunday!

Looks good bro. Normally I'm not either but the energy and power you feel from the Ostarine makes it fun to see what you can do. The recovery is insane so your not loosing out on anything by doing it.

Well I lost a lot of fat around areas I didn't realize there was fat. Basically the only area I got fat back on was my stomach and only 2 inchs so the loss of gains and 2 inchs of fat gain kept my weight around the same. I'll weigh in today and check what I'm at when I get to the gym.
 
Friday the 12th.

Really feeling the Ostarine now. Managed to hit 3600 calories kind of low compared to the last 2 days I'm finally starting to even out on my hunger deficit. (I keep myself at 12-14% bf year round so my eating goes back and forth)

Just barely got 8 hours of sleep ended up working super late Thursday night but can't win every day.

Chest arms and abs day.

Flat bench 95-115-135-155-175 max reps with 6 sets of 175. Was feeling the unlimited energy definitely can go up in weight.
Spider curls 45lbs max reps for 8 sets.
Skull crushers 65lbs max reps for 8 sets.
5 sets of 1 minute planks.
Pec deck 130-150-170-190 max reps with 3 sets of each and 5 with 190. Chest just starting to feel burnt
Tricep pushdowns 80-100-120 max reps with 3 sets of each.
Cable curls 100-120-140-150 max reps 3 sets of each. Hit 5 reps with 150 a new pr from 2 reps.
Hanging leg raises max reps with 5 sets of each.

Feeling no cramping pain or soreness today. Harder next time.

0 suppression at all. The only thing I noticed in terms of sides was near the end was I started getting a tiny bit of acne. No gyno no ball shrink no change in emotion nothing. Blood work back clean as well so was a good cycle.

Saturday the 13th.

Sleep got split up today due to employee not making it to work so I had to be up. Ended up getting 6 hours of sleep then a 3 hour nap about a hour after. Felt pretty drained in the gym don't usually take naps for that reason but pushed through.

Ended up with 2900 calories yesterday sadly went out with some buddies to pick up girls and didn't get my last meal in but girls made it a bit worthwhile ;)

Calves and shoulders day.
Dumbell press 30-40-50-55 max reps of 2 sets of each. Front delts felt a bit sore from bench yesterday as I usually stick to flies on fridays but felt way to good not to do bench.
Seated calf raises 80-160-240-255 max reps 2 sets of each. Really focusing on calves this cycle as well starting to get a good vein coming out on the inside from last cycle that I want to improve on.
Upright rows 50-60-70-80 max reps 2 sets of each. Felt really strong on this exercise as this one I usually loose a lot of form doing 80 but worked out well.
Standing machine calf raises 150-175-200-225-250 max reps 2 sets of each.
Dumbbell shoulder super set front raise-lateral-raise-bent over raise. Still managed to hit 20lb dumbbells for full reps on these. Ostarine really helping for the endurance that's for sure.

Super stoaked for back/chest today.

The strength and endurance about 2-3 days. The hunger hits about 30minutes after but thats diet dependent. If you're in a bulk right now or a good maintain you probably wont experience what I get.
 
I'm eating a steady 3,800 cal a day, on leg day about 4,500 so I guess you'd consider that a bulk on my days off though sat an sun I'm around 2,500 a day

Yeah you shouldn't feel to much hunger then. I maintain about 2500-3k a day a bit low for what I'm doing on a regular basis so glycogen is pretty depleted on a regular basis.
 
I'd say so, my diets not on a effort basis on my work out days it's just when I'm hungry. Now on days off I'm not close to work out days the hunger just isn't there

So your running LGD/Osta together. Reading conflicting reviews about this. Some say not to stack them together but run LGD for 8 weeks and include Osta in the PCT? Any thoughts on this? Here is what I had in mind to run starting tomorrow actually.
