Yes. I think the only real trt is when its Dr administered.
True trt is a range of like 100mg to 200mg a week. My buddybis on it and he gets one bottle that has to last him.
What happens is they get a taste of the stuff and then they want more.
Then their "trt" status becomes a front for being able to have test legally.
But the word has become so tainted by people ruining it that the real people that need trt to feel normal end up looking like liars.

Actually this is a legitimate debate... we have a ton of "TRT" users who are just getting steroid cycles abusing the system. TRT given after 1 blood test etc.
This is a sensitive issue if you are on TRT. If your not you can look at it more objectively. It is relatively easy now days to get on TRT. Is it as easy as 1 blood test? Sometimes but that is not the point. The point is if you are determined to get testosterone perscribed to you than you can find a way. Its just a question of who you see and how you go about it. If I want TEST, all I have to do is wait till I am coming off of a cycle, let my blood levels go wayyyyy down, get them checked and BAMMM LOW T LEVELS

On the other hand, I have literally every symptom of low T. My test over the last 6 or 7 labs has gone from 250ish for a couple, then for some reason up to 534, and then been around 350 ish since. My doctor flat out refuses to entertain the notion that maybe for me 350 is too low, even though it's in the "normal" range. You would think I was asking him to loan me his children for some manual labor. All I want is to try TRT legit for 3 months and see if I feel better. If I don't- oh well back to the drawing board. But I've felt like shit for so long I can't remember NOT feeling bad. Last week, I had mad energy and was feeling good. This weekend, I haven't slept and feel like I've been hit by a truck. I get night sweats, I'm shaking right now, and they can't figure out why any of it.
At some point, a clinical assessment should lead them to agree with me and say "You may be right, let's try it". Male hormones, particularly anything with potential for "abuse" are like the elephant in the room. It's like we, as men, can't possibly be honest when we say "I think I need TRT". People may abuse the diagnosis just to get gear, but at the levels a doctor would provide abuse is kinda hard, in which case, why bother with a doc in the first place?

I'm under retired TRICARE. It's not easy for me to switch docs without being told to just use a military facility. Wanna talk about resistance to any notion at all? Shit, I'm surprised when they prescribe anything besides MOTRIN.
I like a healthcare system that monitors and dispense from pusher to junkie. Doctors and those with money or gold plate insurance living the good life. TRT means blast and cruise my life away. Every month when I update my Rx, big pharm gets their cut, I get the goods; everyone leaves happy.

Playa what you say is true. However there is such a stigma around AAS that trying to get on TRT because I feel like shit and think it's test related is like when you tell a doctor you want no shit painkillers and not goddamn motrin. You're immediately suspect.
I've never used gear, and I don't intend to use TRT as a bridge to it. I honestly think TRT would help me. Later if I need to get jacked, sure, I'll gear up. By then I'll know the reason I feel shitty ALL the time is that 350 is too low for me to feel good.

That is a ridiculous point, you ain't getting no cycle from a trt script. If you are going too debate something at least use valid arguments to back up your opinion.

It depends.... You could go on a drinking binge the night before blood being drawn, stay up all night and then have your bloods checked. Ny TRT doc prescribes 250mg of cyp. If you held onto it and went back in 3 months still showing low T, he would prescribe another cycle, possibly upping the dose. You'd then have a 12 week cycle of cyp at 500mg wk.
Regardless, if your parents tell you no TV as a teenager or no fuseball like Bobby Bouchey, you are going to rebel. I find it appalling that 13 year old girls have the power to go on birth control on the doctors dime, causing known anatomical and physiological defects. What about the unknown? Who's to say these birth control steroids aren't at fault for other problems such as the alarming increase in autism? We can severely harm the reproductive systems of our young females yet an autonomous responsible make is not permitted to elevate his T or give the middle finger to genetics? Gimme a break bro. Its so true. If you want to purposely lower your T levels there are ways to do it.
Sure there are ways to cheat the system, just like anything else. But I think most guys are not doing that, it's not worth the hassle when they can get test through the black market easily and fairly inexpensive. Just to cheat the system so you have a script does not cover you for buying any steroids you want. You can fill your script and that is it. You get caught with a bunch of test and tell me how the law looks at your trt script, they ain't stupid.

It might be but that doesn't change the fact that every year and generation since the 1960s T levels have declined in men due to the onslaught of xenoestrogens in plastics and pesticides and various other causes like pollution and high sugar consumption. Pretty soon guys are gonna have more estrogen than their wives. TRT is definitely needed by a lot of guys and as long as they are checked regularly for high Hematocrit levels which can cause blood thickening and clots it is safe and has abundant health benefits.

I dunno, but there are two things I find very compelling:
First is testosterone is a very powerful immune system modulator in that it "quells" the immune system from becoming overactive and causing autoimmune conditions and inflammation. Is the drastic increase in autoimmune disorders and inflammatory diseases driven due to corresponding drop in levels of testosterone? It appears very likely those are correlated based on studies done.
Second is that a study showed that even having median levels of 600 gave men drastically lower bodyfat than men at the lower range of 300. In an 8 week study where they gave half the men a substance that caused their T level to drop from 600 to 300 those men had a 36% increase in bodyfat over the 600 group in only 8 weeks. Now imagine that over months and years.

Yes, and is why it's healthy to get these levels back to that of a 21 year old. Too high, and problems can come in. Too low, and big problems do come in. Yes, I'm guilty of getting mine way too high through the year as a competitor, but when on trt, I'm only using around 100mg/week test cyp.
There's cycles and there are cruisers, choose one.. If you're over 35 I say cruise it why not you probably qualify for trt and then have a "blast" which would be running other components at a high dose like a cycle but since you're on trt you won't pct and "cruise" into the next blast. Trt low dose will be your pct if you never plan to come off.. Just my 2cents, if you disagree well I guess u r free to bash me

Cruise and blast are just made up words for steroid abuse; 99% of the time guys stay on steroids year round, experiencing very bad long-term side effects from constant abuse.
Just to address "Roidders" (fyi creative name), I don't think TRT is abused by ALL individuals, but as with any system, there is plenty of abuse. I believe there is a place and time for TRT but in the majority of cases with 20-something males, it's just a way to legally get testosterone. Of course, I'm not going to be absolutist and say all, but quiet a bit are abusing the system.

They don't just do it for T, its for all drugs...free trips all expense paid to luxury resorts if you hit you "quota". Hot women and good looking guys hired as the reps. Free office lunches/dinners.
If not enough people qualify for a drug based on what is outside of the normal range, they will simply change the range so more people qualify as being "abnormal". It's a joke and its sickening. The FDA is supposed to look out for the American people but they are far more interested in Big Pharma making money.

I know. My point is that trt isn't exempt. All drugs are a used even anti depressants and such. I'd bet over half the people on SRI "anti-depressants" an ever needed it in the first place. Dangerous things those drugs.

You do know they cracked down on all that some years ago, right? It's not like it used to be with all the free trips and golfing luncheons, box seats to games, etc.
Pharma reps can't even bring in pens now. They can only bring lunch (or food, breakfast, etc.) IN. They cannot even take doctors out to lunch or dinner. There was a LOT of abuse and doctors being bought and that was all cracked down on. The most you will see now is that hot girl carrying in bags of food to the doctor's office. Of course some drug samples too. They can still throw a bunch of samples on the table. But who cares about that?
Any of these crazies who think government health care is a good idea needs to look at how veterans have been doing with our shitty ass govt. care. There are death panels and people have died waiting years for their surgery or whatever they needed. It's shitty shitty shitty. Nothing good can be said about it.

I have numerous doctors in my Family, and I can say for sure, most Physicians are narcissistic ass holes who say they're busy when a regular looking pharma rep shows up, but when the paid whore shows up, they're free for lunch. What a joke! I wouldn't be a pharma rep if I were given all the GH I could load in a car!

I've been behind the scenes, and see the gross waste of $ buying physicians into writing outrageously priced Rx's. meanwhile, we pay $245 for 30 tabs in a US Pharmacy, yet that same drug, made by the same American company is exported to a foreign country, where I can buy it for $29. I used to date a Pharma rep gal, and wouldn't do that again. They're pretty, but my advice, run! Lol!
