Just wanted to get some advice and opinions on this. So I started a test e and anavar cycle to maintain some mass in my cut.
Test E 500 mg weeks 1-12
Anavar weeks 6-12
Aromasin eod 12.5mg
Current stats are 6 ft 205 pounds 14% bf
I lift 5 to 6 times a week and have thrown in 30 minutes of cardio post workout as well.
My current TDEE number say it's a little over 3000 calories for maintenance. I've been in taking just under that about 2800.
My macro count yesterday was
329 grams of protein
177 grams of carbs
94 grams of fat(which I think might be a little high on account the ground beef didn't factor in as cooked)
So all in all im just wondering if that is a solid start for a cut or if it needs some tweaking

Overall it looks really good to me. I think you should add in N2Guard when you get to the anavar though because it is liver toxic. I would see how you respond over the first couple weeks and if needed don't be afraid to lower calories slightly by 100 more and/or increase cardio. Another thing that might really work well for you is carb cycling. Basically having more carbs (and therefore calories) on harder training days such as legs...and less carbs on a rest or arm day.

Appreciate the info. Would carb cycling be on lighter days like you said ie arms, rest and shoulder with an increase on bigger muscle like back chest and legs? Or is that something I'd just have to play with and see what works best

Overall your diet looks good to me. I would bump up your carbs and lower your fat. Your calories are much better 'spent' on carbs. Carbs are what fuel hard training and keep the muscle full. Some fat is needed for hormone production and optimal brain function but fat is still fat. There is a reason every pro bodybuilder follows a high protein, moderate carb, low fat diet.

The best advice I can give you is to rotate your carbs/calories each day. The problem with eating the same thing every day is your body gets used to it and your results stagnate very fast. Throwing in some high carb days really stimulate the metabolism and the low carb days take a really aggressive approach to fat loss.

Rather then eat 2800 calories 7 days a week, I would eat 2800 3 days a week, 2400 2 days a week and 3200 2 days a week.

I have an article explaining how to set up a carb cycling diet for fat loss with a full sample meal plan here: http://www.evolutionary.org/cycling-carbohydrates

Yes carb cycling is great way to loss fat or muscle gain

Personally I love to carb cycle. I stay lean following a carb cycling diet.

I will tell you-if your anything like myself.....low carb days are mentally hard. For example....I absolutely dispise fast food and would never ever eat it, but last night I was watching a little tv and a burger king commercial came on- I looked over at my husband and said "wow, that looks good"......needless to say he was speechless.

Good way to start. Also do not do any drastical changes, drop calories only if your progress stops, and drop it by 200-400 tops at a time. It should work perfectly well

@muskate got you well covered on this one, and I would listen to him, as he is a true nutrition expert. Also, you should be using some good liver supporting supplement for your liver, since anavar is hepatotoxic.

10-4 appreciate the information. I'll keep the training cardio where it is for this week and possibly next. See where I'm at then make adjustments accordingly.

Alright I think I hit a wall. I've lowered my calories to about 2300 but I don't seem to be making much progress and my weight has actually gone up(possible with test?). According to this fitbit(don't know about accuracy) I'm burning anywhere between 3700 to 4200 calories a day between work and the gym. The calories are still remotely the same makeup but I cut out some fat. So I'm looking for any advice at this point to help with these last few weeks.
