Jeff Seid Natty?

Do you guys think Jeff Seid is natural? I find it really hard to believe he is because he competes at the Olympia Level of Men Physique. There is no way those guys he competes with are natural especially at his age.

The reality, no competitive bodybuilder or physique athlete is going to come out and openly declare themselves a drug user. It would seriously damage their reputation and the reputation of the body they represent.

The whole conversation about who is 'natty and who is not' is ridiculous. If you stand to make money and become famous (relatively speaking) by being successful in any type of environment that does not drug test then (in my opinion) you would be an idiot not to use performance and image enhancing drugs.

And yes that includes crossfit athletes.

just my five cents worth.....

Its about reputation, creditability and most importantly the marketability of both the athletes and the 'sport' they represent....

Well the thing is if you're a drug user and you claim natty you mislead so many people into thinking "i'll just buy his workout program and i'll look just like him".

"misleading" and the bodybuilding world almost go hand in hand.

It doesn't matter if its supplements, physiques, cycles of pros, competition impartiality or photos...... its all about two things; portraying and image and making money....

but I hear what you're saying bro.....

No, I don't.

But in reality, it doesn't really matter. Let's say he's natural - well, that's great for him. That doesn't mean that I can look like that through natural means. Shit, even using gear doesn't mean I'll look like him. Yes, he's got genetics, but he's also trains hard and eats right - or at least adequately given his genetics and gear use (IMO).

For me, I'd probably have to work hard to look like that.

I'm not sure. He has genetics that we can all only dream of. He turned pro at 18 years old.

If you look at photos from him when he was 16, even then he had an amazing physique.

If you listen to interviews with him, he seems pretty ignorant to PEDs, diet and training. He is just one of those guys we all hate. He is the upper .00001%.

I would bet that he probably used some anavar or pro-hormones before his shows. Maybe some pro-hormones. I doubt he used anything crazy. He isn't that big. He just has beautiful lines and great abs.

why would he be natty when steroids are so easily accessible and affordable?

most guys in your typical franchise gym use or used steroids at one time. I know tons of guys who don't even lift today who used before.

they deny using steroids cause they are trying to sell you their cookie cutter products and want you to think they look like that cause they are so smart. it isn't their genetics and time spend in the gym as that doesn't sell to the masses who want overnight results

It's possible like Muskate eluded to, that He could be Natural.
I've known a couple Guys like this over the years.
They are Very Rare, but do Exist........................................... JP
P.S.
Had a Friend when I was young, that kept his Body Fat around 4% year round, without really going crazy.
His Skin was positively "See-Through".
I was Jealous as all hell, I was having trouble trying to stay around 10%.

I find it hard to believe he is natural although we cannot be positive on this. I hate to say it but there is really no reason for someone at that level not to use steroids. They can be completely safe and affordable if run responsibly.

Thats why the fitness indusrty is so corrupt. You have one person lying to so many people just to make profit

In the end of the day, only he himself can tell if he is natural, or not, and there is no way for us of knowing if that is true, or not. In any case, even with gear it would take a massive amount of work to get into such a shape, so I would not focus that much on this aspect of his physique. We all know that steroids are no magic pills, and even with them you gotta bust your ass in the gym and in the kitchen in order to get this sort of results.

Other than the sponsorship issues if he (or other athletes) admit steroid use one of the reasons it is not said is there is this societal view that if someone uses steroids all their hard work is worth nothing. So im sure athletes like to shy away from the conversation to provide more chance of people appreciating their hard work. Obviously experienced steroid users know better but other people in society don't.
