I assume this question has been asked before-- but it seems that a lot or even most of the compounds and brads I have seen--- are all alike in consistency and color. Is it pretty much the same oil in every one and just the different additives?

if you look in the source section there is a brewer thread which is quite the read. you will see there are some things done the same way, and others different.

bottom line is gear has to be made sanitary and properly dosed. otherwise it will be junk as we see most UGL's put out there

You can't tell whether or not your gear is legit just by looking at it. Gear will have different colours and viscosity (thickness) depending on the carrier oil that the UG lab used to suspend the hormone in.

In this video I explain how to determine whether or not your steroids are real -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DI7Iey9vLB8

One of the best resources you have is the source reviews section on the board here. If you are unsure on what source to order from, you can't go wrong ordering from the approved sources like Roid Mass or nordic fusion.

You would be surprised at the differences in Carrier Oils between companies.
Alot of the UGL's will use a combination of Oils to handle higher Mg/Ml concentrations, like GSO & Safflower Oil.
While other companies will use EO (ethyl oleate) to handle the Higher Concentrations, and give a Thinner Viscosity.

Some companies use Guaiacol to give a Thinner Viscosity.
I would stay away from companies using this particular solvent.................................................. JP
P.S.
Some are now using Cotton Seed Oil/Coconut Oil/and MCT Oil which is different from pure Coconut Oil.

The color mostly depends on the carrier oil. Now for the density and whether you get PIP or not, this is were it highly depends on brands and concentrations of gear and benzyl alcohol
