Drank weight gainer stomach problem

Got a good tub of weight gainer so I thought. After drinking it I got a lot of stomach bloat. But I can't goto the bathroom like feels like empty gas :(. I'm not sure how this could be if I did take whey protein on and off before so why now and why weight gainer can you help guys?
 
weight gainers contain a lot of SHIT is why. it will upset your stomach and I would return the product

if you want to put together a shake make your own using quality ingredients.. a lot of younger guys seem to think that if a bodybuilder is on the front of the product that it must mean they use it. the fact is bodybuilders don't use weight gainers at all, it is a ruse. you want to be at your very best in the gym, not sharting your pants in the middle of squats
 
Post up the ingredients or name your product. I bet it is full of crap like sugar, lactose, HFSC, artificial sweeteners and colours.

Better off to stick to a pure whey isolate and add ingredients to it in order to create your own weight gainer. You can add things like natural almond butter, oats, frozen berries, bananas, spinach, kale. Just add anything you like.
 
There are threads posted like this almost every day. Weight gainers will help you gain weight for sure but you will probably feel really bloated and gassy while using it. Read the ingredient list. It's full of artificial colors, sweeteners, flavours and preservatives.

I personally would get a high quality protein powder and make your own lean mass gain shake. It'll be much cheaper, and provide much more nutrients then muscle milk or any weight gainer.

All protein powders are not created equal. You really need to be a smart consumer in today's market and do your research. Look at the ingredient list and supplements fact panel on every supplement before buying it.

For a whey protein - you want to see nothing but that in the ingredients list. Whey protein, natural flavours, a natural calorie free sweetener like stevia and then maybe some salt, soy lechitin and cocoa powder. There are a lot of good products on the market. I personally use isolation from n2bm.com. A good whey isolate should be pretty much fat and carb free. Isolation has 26g protein, 1g carb, 0g fat per 30g scoop.

Buy a high quality blender and blend together the following:
2 scoops of a high quality whey protein isolate
oatmeal
natural almond butter or peanut butter
frozen fruit
banana
ice
chia/flax seeds
spinach/kale

Drink that instead of your weight gainer supplement. You will feel way better and it'll provide much more nutrients.
 
Most Weight Gainers are Whey Concentrate, that has Lactose in it, so this is the Culprit.

Look for a 100% Whey Isolate, they are either Lactose Free, or have an Extremely Small amount, and don't cause Bloating and Gas.......................... JP

Could be one of the sources of protein or carb that you do not digest. Or additives, flavourings, or something of that sort that messes up your digestion process.

What kind of weight gainer did you buy?
 
I hate weight gainers and I've never even used them. I sold supplements for a bit and got shit from my manager for actually deterring people from them; as other people have replied they are just filled with mass amounts of crap that will definitely make you "gain weight" but it will not be an enjoyable process.

Hell, you could be lactose intolerant. I am partially lactose intolerant and have to be weary of what protein powders I try, so I know for sure a weight gainer would make me want to die in that regard.

Regardless, if you want to stick to the weight gainer for whatever reason I would say maybe look into picking up a good probiotic to help aid in that digestion and reduce bloating.
