I has some bac. water sitting around for months in the same place where it was storage, as you know when water is stagnant it goes bad, could that happen to bac. water when is stored for too long?
I've seen bottle water go bad, I don't know about bacteriostatic water.

Bacteristatic water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol which is a preservative so really it can last forever, however what makes a difference is how it is stored as light can break down preservatives over time so always store in a dark place,

The only reason it has an expiry date on it is because it is required by law.

If you have only had if for months and stored properly there is no issue. It will be good for years if stored properly. If you are not sure if it was stored properly the whole time then I agree with Steve, just toss it.

Bac water has an extremely long shelf life. We are talking like 10-20 years. The benzyl alcohol in the bac water makes it last theoretically forever.

You have nothing to worry about. Just store it in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.

You can keep it in the fridge for ages if you want, as long as it doesnt get a lot of direct sunlight or experience too many temperature changes.
