rather than make a bunch of these, i'll group my stupid questions here.

water retention
I don't see it when i'm on cycle but my bodyweight goes up 20 pounds. last day on i was at 249 with short and a tshirt on, nothing else. been off for about 6 weeks and in shoes, sweat pants and t shirt i was 233 on the same scale. this is about the same each cycle. i was 242-3 on and then came off for my meet about 4 weeks out and was 232 in khakis, belt, and a dress shirt (didn't see the sense in undressing since i'd be over 220 no matter what and i was competing with a friend for the 242 class). doesn't seem to effect me and i don't get any symptoms like gyno. just curious if i should do anything about it or say fuck it

cutting cycle
test 500 and just about anything has worked well for me each time, somehow did best on anavar (felt great and was up to pulling 585 for 3 sets of triples easy, i dunno why). so my diet is easy enough, cut carbs. i'm not going for a show type of look, just like 10% bf is fine. this diet does it no problem. I just want to keep as much strength as i can. so what would allow me to keep my strength while cutting down best? i read about tren making people nuts and i've seen a couple people lose it on that, so either it's not for everyone, they're taking too much, or both. is there something else or some other combo that would work nearly as well?

eat a lot and lift heavy. got it. any suggestions on some combo i haven't tried? i've done test/dec/tbol, test only (lame cycle, tore rotator cuff during), test/eq/anavar (body never felt better, at least after 35 years old), and test/dbol. all test at 500.

read the thread. i've done only nolva each time except for the first cycle i did only adex for a couple weeks because that's what came with the stack i bought. is hcg and all that stuff for these 10 week cycles or is that based on how i feel? i generally lose no strength between cycles if i don't cut weight and don't get injured.

i used naps for all this. while i never got scammed (not getting what i was supposed to get or get nothing...yet) i do wonder from all the negative stuff i see if this stuff was maybe bunk. should i be getting bloodwork done or just change vendors to one from here?
 
It's hard to say exactly what's going on with your Cycles.
For the simple reason that you aren't doing any Bloodwork.

So without doing at least a LC/MS-MS Total Testosterone and an Estradiol Bloodwork.
Can't say if your Gear is Good, or just Mediocre.

As far as changing suppliers, again, can't say without bloodwork.
You seem to be one of the Guys who gets what they ordered from Naps.

I would get the Bloodwork done, this way you'll know for sure, if Naps is giving you Quality Gear.
They do carry a few good companies......................... JP
P.S.
If you seem to do well on Test/EQ/Anavar, I would stick with it.
Especially if you don't want to venture into a Tren Cycle.

ok. was leaning toward an eq cycle again. going to get back into kickboxing and jiu jitsu. think i can still make lhw if i try. my new strength should be a real asset.

ill speak on number 2 honestly with test at 500 should be enough but a personal fav of mine for any time of year is eq as long as you dont eat crap with it. and secondly you could throw 2 short 4 week blasts of winny like 4 on 4 off 4 on 12 weeks. or even 4 weeks anadrol or superdrol (aviod dbol) or a short 4-6 week tren a blast or really anything besides dbol i personally can stay lean on deca if i dont eat crap ... key here is diet

We did an entire episode on PCT.

Nolvadex alone is not near sufficient for a PCT. You might not loose any strength between cycles but that doesn't mean you aren't loosing muscle. You are also setting yourself up for long term HPTA damage and eventually TRT.

The perfect PCT (or something similar) is what you should be running after every cycle. It's essential for your health.
 
It is hard to say exactly what happens each time. Could be the gear but likely it is more to do with diet and training. Remember that you can make gains naturally. If those 2 are not perfect you will not get anything crazy from a cycle. Steroids are just the little extra push.
 
I started seeing these kinds of posts re gains on and lost of 20+ years ago. It's simple as f**k. You take gear, eat well and train hard on. Then, the moment you come off you back off on the gear, take training down back to where it was and ease up back to where you were pre-cycle. Cue look of shock as, having reverted in every way possible, back to the same calories and so on you did previously you lose all your 'gainz'. Of course you f**king well do. If you gained 20lbs on don't, obviously expect to keep all 20lbs (if only) but try eating for an additional 10lbs. Thus, if you weighed 200lbs before and ate (for example) 3000kcals and wanna weigh 210lbs after you need to adjust the kcals UP! Do the same = stay the same

On point 1. So you've made no gains?

all natural no juice or proper training i got up to 345 bench 405 squat and 425 deadlift. went to a powerlifting gym and trained without anything for a year or so and bench didn't move much 350 ish but deadlift and squat went up to 455 and 500 on the nose. then added my cycles and gained about 20 pounds per lift each, but about 20 pounds of water weight each time. go off for a month and i'm back down to 220 (first cycle) to 230 (this cycle). lifts were at 415 bench, 520 squat and 615 deadlift.
 
should add currently coming off a torn shoulder and then a pulled groin. am back to benching 385, haven't tried more than 275 squat but was at 475 before i ran sheiko 29 and got injured, and haven't maxed deadlift yet but can still do 545 easily (stopped there). this is off cycle for 2 months and no wraps or lifting gear of any kind except a belt

maybe i was unclear. i'm only wondering if the water weight should be any concern. my gains so far have stayed. if i had to guess i'd say 15-30 pounds of solid mass total over the cycles. need to lose the fat soon to really tell
