Been reading non-stop here and elsewhere (and learning plenty) but came across this:
In Ontario (Canada), it is illegal to sell anabolic steroids, and it is illegal to buy them, but it is legal to possess them (whereas in the U.S all 3 are illegal).
WTF?

that the U.S. is still a puritanical society.

certain anabolic steroids are legal WITH A PRESCRIPTION in the united states
same with HGH.
and if you got money and do some digging both are pretty damn easy to get.
just want to make sure people understood that who read this.
hypothetically if steroids were legalized drug stores would never sell them anyway on the shelves lol. you would atleast have to go to the counter and show ID to buy them. and pharma companies would mark them up like crazy cause they want to make $$$$. i don't see this being a good thing at all. keep things the way they are and decriminalize their use just like they are doing with pot.

middle america and most of the south most certainly is.
heck go to louisiana and you can walk down bourbon street drinking and seeing strippers in the doorway of clubs. but drive 10 miles north and it is one of the most conservative parts of the country. They call that area St. Slammany for a reason. they find any reason to put you in prison for a long time, especially if you are of a darker complexion
Same as the UK

What I find odd about Canada's law is that you can't sell or buy them legally but you can possess them. How the hell can you possess them if you can't buy them?
The laws on steroids (and in my opinion drugs in general are ridiculous). I don't think you should be able to buy them like you would a pair of socks but rather decriminalization (as will be here in Canada for Pot) seems more sensible. How truly free are we if we can't have control over our own bodies?
While we can get access to steroids (and any drug we want) if we have the money, it seems wrong to have to do it through illegal means.
Just my 2 cents

Does that mean that I could walk into, say a Walmart, and buy any steroid I wanted?
Yes I agree with youthe law you are saying is all about a slap on the wrist vs. hammering someone for something petty. you shouldn't do it, it is bad.. but if you do it we aren't going to ruin your life either type of thing.
as far as walking into walmart and buying steroids. yes.. if you have a script and walk into walmart with it you can grab steroids from their pharmacy. it is mostly testosterone. you won't find tren, primo, or EQ there lol. neither are legal at all. and HGH is going to be available at anti-aging clinics. also certain insulin are available without a script, but you have to get it from the pharmacy. ironic because insulin can kill you
I guess what's good about that is if you possess a reasonable amount of AAS (i.e. not selling it) the most that will happen is nothing!
Unfortunately, in India, there is no steroids law.
Have a nice Day
Why is that a problem to you, sisir012? Hell, I would love to see the decriminaliation of AAS here in the U.S.
No problem sir but certain things should be regulated by law lol
Have a nice Day
I see sir yes it's extreme in u.s.a don't know why this happens in India you can get this stuff without a prescription and from a local store but Indian people don't know how to use them correctly in this sense u.s.a people are very smartAll right. But here in the U.S., regulations relative to AAS are that which prevent people like me from being honest with our physcians concerning our use of AAS. Do you not see that as being problematic - indeed outright dangerous with respect to our health and well-being?

Yes, the US and Canada are two totally different countries. Why is that hard to believe?

Kind of like during Prohibition, when alcohol was illegal (in the United States that is). The result of criminalizing the consumption of alcohol resulted in thousands of deaths due to wood alcohol poisoning- not to mention the proliferation of Organized Crime.
