And its all wrong on the advice and dangerous.
You don't need key ingredients, you need total of the 40 ingredients to get to where you want to go.
Oh it’s 100% accurate on that. I’ve been loading it with my supplements for about a year now. It helps me keep track of them and make my schedule for when I take them - morning, breakfast, dinner, and before bed.
It’s not hard to just screenshot n2guard ingredients and have ChatGPT compare. Sorry I’m just not into the n2guard, but you keep wanting to push it on me for some reason. I think it’s a rip off. These anabolic forums have been pushing n2guard on us for years. I get that they are probably a sponsor but I am tired of hearing about N2guard.

It’s because that’s the longest I’m comfortable with! I’m not on TRT and I don’t plan to ever be, so 12 weeks is the longest I want to surpress my natural testosterone before bringing it back. 12 weeks once a year and I’m good. I just like to have my fun. Why is this so unusual now a days? 12 weeks used to be fairly standard I thought. Maybe things have changed.

All I’m saying is we can agree to disagree on N2Guard. I think the micro-dosing of stuff like apple pectin, evening primrose, hawthorn fruit, garlic bulb, dandelion, yerba mate leaf, etc. is just fluff. And Fish oil powder? LOL

To me, N2Guard tries to do too much and doesn’t really do any one thing well, except maybe their liver support mix of TUDCA, milk thistle and NAC. I would rather buy those three supplements separately and know I'm getting high quality and good dose of each instead of taking 7 capsules a day diluted with ingredients like Astragalus root and arjuna bark. And I can have a high quality multivitamin, fish oil that's actually an oil, some vitamin D drops, etc.

Also, is N2guard third party tested? Maybe, but I didn’t see anything on their site. The supplement market is mostly BS anyway, which is why guys like us are on Evo talking about real anabolic "supplements" that actually do something.

ChatGPT and use of AI:
Now, on ChatGPT—that’s been part of my log from the start. If it’s not your thing, no worries, you don’t have to follow. I mentioned in my first post that I’ve been using AI to help program my workouts, supplements, and other stuff. It’s just meant to spark some fun discussion around how AI fits into this.

Obviously, I’m not letting it tell me what to pin. I’d still bring my plan here to get feedback from the Evo bros before doing anything.

That said, the chats are only as good as what I feed them. I already know how to build training programs pretty well, so I’ve trained a chat that gives me solid feedback when I'm tweaking things. Same with supplements. It's exported out my programs into training logs in Excel.

It’s also been helpful summarizing my weekly updates for this log.

What if I just wanted to design an 8-10 week cycle? What would you suggest?

It seems like every time I do a cycle I’m pretty happy with results 6-8 weeks into it. I’ve even started a couple cycles that I intended to be 12 weeks but stopped around 10 weeks. I’m in decent shape going into them. I just need a little juice to get me back to repping 225 on bench again and I’m happy. At my age I’m not greedy.

I would not suggest an 8-10 week cycle. Stick to 12-20 weeks, and if you want 12 no issues, but anything under is too short. 120 days actually optimal for most cycles. @texas.redneck

Is it because the longer i am on cycle the more solidified the changes in my body become and then stick with me after?

So when I’m only 6-8 weeks in, although I’m feeling great and strong again, if I stop at that point it’s not really going to stick as well.

You wont get any results just jack up your hormones and hPTA.

*You said to make it the 12 weeks like I wanted to just cut the last phase down to week 9-12. Roger that.

*I also don't like too aggressive. There's a reason I am not doing Test E/Cyp at 400-500mg/week again. So what if I just did cyp 200mg/week and EQ 300mg week from weeks 3-12, would be enough to have fun?

*So I know you aren't a fan of the front loading but why do you like stepping up like that instead of just starting flat straight across (e.g., just 300mg straight across weeks 1 to 12)? Is it to manage estrogen?

*When you say "aromasin 5mgs/week anti e", are you taking one 25mg tablet and breaking it into tiny pieces or how do you do this? later on in weeks 4 to 8 you clarify 2x week or mon/wed/fri. At the beginninig weeks 1-4 do you literally just take it once a week?

*I assume I can add in HCG 500iu week split dose?

*You never said when to start PCT. And would it just be the Clomid/Nolvadex combo?

Front loading doesnt work, just puts pressure on organs.
EQ good estrogen management and add aromasin 2x/week.

HCG is highly estrogenic and dangerous. I would only use it 1st week pct. Even then supplements better.

I would start PCT 3 weeks post cycle but depends on what cycle ends up being.

Yeah, because we are just talking right now. I'm not drafting out a well thought out post then using chatGPT to help me do some wordsmithing and tighten up the flow. For example, when I wanted to clearly articulate why I prefer to manage my own supplement stack instead of using N2Guard, I sat down and drafted up my post, ran it through a utility chat I have that helps me clean up emails and such. It helped me move around some sentences and articulate some things I wanted to say but didn't quite know how to say it.

So good news, I got out of that TRT clinic three month commitment. Turns out there was a limit to what she could prescribe me and that was that my Total T can't exceed 1200. She ran her in house labs today and I was 1400. So she said she could refund me and literally told me just go online and buy it that it will be cheaper. LOL. So I'll be managing everything myself from here on out with ya'lls help. I've got all the supplies already so nothing is changing from my original plan. [EDIT: Even though she told me just go buy online and that 300mg/week wasn't crazy and all that she did try to freak me out that i'll have a stroke and that's why she can't let me go above 1200].

Is there a place you all in the US like to order labs from? I usually go to healthlabs.com, but mostly for STD tests when I am paranoid after hooking up with some girl. They have this testosterone therapy/maintenance panel that I believe covers everything I need - https://www.healthlabs.com/testosterone-maintenance-therapy-level-testing.

For PCT I might actually try that HCgenerate. That would replace my Tongkat Ali and boron right?

Question –
Should I get an estradiol test this week? Week 4 starts tomorrow. I want to get the full metabolic panel including estrogen, but I really wanted to wait until week 5 or 6. So I’d prefer to save my money and get all at once unless you all think I’m at some risk here.

I’m not on AI and not having any high estrogen symptoms. (no mood swings, libido fine, good erectile function). I had a brief scare with sensitive nipples earlier this week. Realized it was chaffed nipples because I put my weighted vest on over my cycling jersey to walk my dog and cycling jersey material is somewhat abrasive to nipples when you have a 20lb plate weighted vest on it. Nipple chafing went away, so false alarm. I also wanted to cry yesterday but I believe that was because my bathroom flooded and I had to pay $2,500 to the restoration people to dry out my carpets and walls. I don’t think I wanted to cry because of high estrogen.

I did some research and Gonadorelin actually stimulates the pituitary to make my own LH versus HCG that just “mimics” LH or something like that (someone smarter than me can correct my accuracy). So this Gonadorelin sounds good for week 1 of PCT to kickstart my pituitary. Let me know otherwise.

Training note - So last memorial day I destroyed my bicep because I decided to do a Murph workout after not doing one for 3 years or so and really not training. I still finished it within 5 minutes of the one I did 3 years ago, but in so doing the 100 kipping pullups absolutely wrecked my biceps. I’m still rehabbing them so thrown a wrench in my training because I can’t really do rows and curls right now.

Some analysis:

👉 Big picture:

  • Bench and leg press both saw clear progression.
  • RDLs and split squats moved up in weight.
  • Rear delt fly had a nice rep jump.
  • Some accessories (lateral raise, crunch, lunges, calves) got dropped in Week 3 since you condensed Upper A + Lower A.
Warmup/Prehab – I do about 10-15 minutes of a low back rehab routine to start every workout. Started adding in a bicep rehab routine at end.

Upper A / Lower A (combined days this week)

  • Barbell Bench Press – Week 2: 160×10 (4 sets w/10 reps across) → Week 3: 165×10, 165×12, 165×9 (added weight, more top-end reps).
  • Cable Lateral Raise – Week 2: 7.5×15 (2 sets) → Week 3: skipped.

Does MK677 cause pretty significant water retention and bloating? I blew up pretty good with water weight almost as soon as I started it and jumped up 3-4lbs. For the first two days, I had that filled up stomach feeling like when I overdo it on electrolytes and feel bloated. that went away and I just feel it in my hands now like rings are a little tighter than usual. I just want to be sure it's the MK677 and I didn't just get blasted with some high estrogen bloating.

@texas.redneck Yeah MK677 is known for that early water retention and bloating look so what you felt lines up. Most guys see the scale jump a few pounds quick because of increased ghrelin and sodium balance shifts. That tight hand feeling with rings is a classic sign too (think high HGH). Usually it levels out after the first week or two as your body adjusts. High estrogen bloat usually comes with puffier face or chest and more overall soft look, not just hands and stomach fullness. Sounds like what you’re describing is pretty standard nutrobal MK677 water weight.

Question –
Should I get an estradiol test this week? Week 4 starts tomorrow. I want to get the full metabolic panel including estrogen, but I really wanted to wait until week 5 or 6. So I’d prefer to save my money and get all at once unless you all think I’m at some risk here.

I’m not on AI and not having any high estrogen symptoms. (no mood swings, libido fine, good erectile function). I had a brief scare with sensitive nipples earlier this week. Realized it was chaffed nipples because I put my weighted vest on over my cycling jersey to walk my dog and cycling jersey material is somewhat abrasive to nipples when you have a 20lb plate weighted vest on it. Nipple chafing went away, so false alarm. I also wanted to cry yesterday but I believe that was because my bathroom flooded and I had to pay $2,500 to the restoration people to dry out my carpets and walls. I don’t think I wanted to cry because of high estrogen.

And your blood work really shows nothing, do you have complete panels?

I got the estradiol, ultrasensitive yesterday. Waiting on results. the MK677 blowing me up kind of freaked me out and I wanted to make sure estrogen still good. the MK677 bloat went down toward end of day yesterday and overnight. I started peeing a lot more again and dropped 2 pounds and don't feel as bloated. It was like my body just expelled the extra water. I never changed the dose. Just stuck at the 12.5mg/night through the symptoms.

I dropped the Gonadorelin. was going to pop a couple week one of PCT to kickstart the pituitary gland unless you feel very strongly against that.

I'll do some screenshots from my training log of my last week of training. KEEP IN MIND that my actual lifting volume might seem low but note the the following and that their is a science to building my program:

(1) it's imbalanced because i've been rehabbing my biceps since memorial day when I thought it would be fun to do a Murph workout that included 100 pullups.* So I'm not doing a lot of curling and rowing at the moment.

(2) if front squats look weak it's because they are. I really don't do any movements with loaded spine (barbell on back) anymore because of degernative disc in low back. This was first time I'd done these in years. My core leg movement is usually Bulgarian split squats. I've worked in leg press weekly and going to try hack squats next week.

(3) Don't forget I'm doing all this and still have 2 swim days and 1 bike ride day.

(4) that back rehab/prehab routine I do at the beginning is like a 15 minute routine just bullet proofing my low back type stuff.

(5) in the next week or 2 once my bicep is really feeling back to 100% I want to switch to a 6 day week push/legs/pull training split and I'm going to drop all the way to just 1 swim day a week and make a good ~5 week pure bodybuilding run for end of my cycle.

pics loaded out of order but I labeled them. some of the columns are cutoff I just noticed but not going to go back and re-do screen shots. The glute bridges are tempo with 5 seconds down. Also looks like I wasn't super complete as I know I did Ab rollouts and the Y raises I had moved to the warmup for shoulder warmup. the cable Y raises were one of the substitutions since I can't curl or row right now.

I think this week I'm going to replace with barbell glute bridge or there may be one of those bridge machines at my gym.

Are you asking about my original (not on any PED) comprehensive metabolic panel blood work? Yes, I get this done at least once a year at my annual physical, just had it done in January at my annual and the TRT clinic did it a few weeks ago and only thing it shows is i'm high on creatinine. I'm just barely above the standard range they give. In year's past I have been high on blood glucose just because I will eat me a crap ton of deserts but I cut out deserts for like the two months leading up to my CMP and blood glucose checked out that time. I really did it more just to prove to myself I'm not a diabetic. LOL. I've been off deserts a couple months now so pretty good. I replaced the after dinner desert with yogurt parfait with fresh fruit and granola.

I'm going to do the complete panel with metabolics, test, estrogen, etc. in September. I am waiting until ~week 5-6 of my 300/mg week dosage so I can get a good lab result of my steady state on that dose of test. I just got the estradiol yesterday for peace of mind on the estrogen for now. Not sure if that is what you were asking.

Yes, I get this done at least once a year at my annual physical, just had it done in January at my annual and the TRT clinic did it a few weeks ago and only thing it shows is i'm high on creatinine. I'm just barely above the standard range they give. In year's past I have been high on blood glucose just because I will eat me a crap ton of deserts but I cut out deserts for like the two months leading up to my CMP and blood glucose checked out that time. I really did it more just to prove to myself I'm not a diabetic. LOL. I've been off deserts a couple months now so pretty good. I replaced the after dinner desert with yogurt parfait with fresh fruit and granola.

I'm going to do the complete panel with metabolics, test, estrogen, etc. in September. I am waiting until ~week 5-6 of my 300/mg week dosage so I can get a good lab result of my steady state on that dose of test. I just got the estradiol yesterday for peace of mind on the estrogen for now. Not sure if that is what you were asking.

I got the estradiol, ultrasensitive yesterday. Waiting on results. the MK677 blowing me up kind of freaked me out and I wanted to make sure estrogen still good. the MK677 bloat went down toward end of day yesterday and overnight. I started peeing a lot more again and dropped 2 pounds and don't feel as bloated. It was like my body just expelled the extra water. I never changed the dose. Just stuck at the 12.5mg/night through the symptoms.

I dropped the Gonadorelin. was going to pop a couple week one of PCT to kickstart the pituitary gland unless you feel very strongly against that.

I'll do some screenshots from my training log of my last week of training. KEEP IN MIND that my actual lifting volume might seem low but note the the following and that their is a science to building my program:

(1) it's imbalanced because i've been rehabbing my biceps since memorial day when I thought it would be fun to do a Murph workout that included 100 pullups.* So I'm not doing a lot of curling and rowing at the moment.

(2) if front squats look weak it's because they are. I really don't do any movements with loaded spine (barbell on back) anymore because of degernative disc in low back. This was first time I'd done these in years. My core leg movement is usually Bulgarian split squats. I've worked in leg press weekly and going to try hack squats next week.

(3) Don't forget I'm doing all this and still have 2 swim days and 1 bike ride day.

(4) that back rehab/prehab routine I do at the beginning is like a 15 minute routine just bullet proofing my low back type stuff.

(5) in the next week or 2 once my bicep is really feeling back to 100% I want to switch to a 6 day week push/legs/pull training split and I'm going to drop all the way to just 1 swim day a week and make a good ~5 week pure bodybuilding run for end of my cycle.

pics loaded out of order but I labeled them. some of the columns are cutoff I just noticed but not going to go back and re-do screen shots. The glute bridges are tempo with 5 seconds down. Also looks like I wasn't super complete as I know I did Ab rollouts and the Y raises I had moved to the warmup for shoulder warmup. the cable Y raises were one of the substitutions since I can't curl or row right now.

I think this week I'm going to replace with barbell glute bridge or there may be one of those bridge machines at my gym.

The water swing you described is classic MK677, nothing to stress on since your weight already corrected itself.

Dropping the Gonadorelin is fine, you really don’t need to force it if your body is already handling recovery, just keep it simple.

Your training setup makes sense with the injuries and extra swim and bike work, you’re still getting plenty of volume overall. Once that bicep is good and you shift to the push/legs/pull with less cardio, you’ll be in a perfect spot to really push the bodybuilding side. Just careful, we can do this long term to get to your goals without more injuries.

The only reason I was thinking week 6 for CMP is because my first week was only the 200mg. I started at 200mg from the TRT clinic and then I was like that's dumb to even shut down my whole system for that much. That's when I got back on Evo and jumped up to 300mg week...LOL. Anyways, for that reason I was going to push those labs out to week 6, unless you think it doesn't matter. Here's where I'm at now with actual and planned:

Week 1 started 7/27 - 200mg
Week 2 Started 8/3 - 300mg
Week 3 started 8/10 - 300mg
Week 4 started 8/17 - 320mg (this week and since I'm drawing my own needles now, not getting preloaded syringes from TRT clinic, I'm just pulling to the 0.8 mark instead of guessing what's 0.75 so my weekly dose is creeping up to 160 per shot or 320 per week)

Week ~7 or 8 start Anavar 40mg a day
...
Week 13 starting 10/19 - 300mg (last week). I'm running this one out 13 weeks because the timing works well with a vacation I have week 14.

Then I'm feeling like everything is healed, I hop on to do just some dead hang pullups and do like 3 reps and it literally felt like when you stretch out an old dried out rubberband, it felt like my biceps tendon was doing that. And me being a dummy pushed my self through 3 sets. It didn't quite put me back as bad as I was to start with but basically reset the clock on the rehab.

So this time I just stopped everything for straight up 3-4 weeks and i'm easing back in with some rehab exercises like just isometric curl hold at 90 degree with like 8 lbs. some Ecentric lowering, etc.

when I can finally just go full pull days, I'm thinking about just jumping into Jeff Nippards Push/Pull/Leg program https://jeffnippard.com/products/the-pure-bodybuilding-program. And dropping all cardio but my swim technique group class on Wednesday morning (it's like 20 minutes of technique work with 30 minute workout).

That was smart to shut it all down for a few weeks and actually let the tendon calm down, that’s the only way it really heals. The rubber band feeling you described is classic tendon strain so if you keep it easy with isos and eccentrics you’ll come back solid. Once you’re cleared to go full pull days again, Jeff’s push pull legs program is a good choice because it’s balanced and will build strength without beating up your joints.

Dropping the extra cardio and just keeping the swim class is going to let you recover better and actually put more into your lifts. Just keep ramping slowly and don’t get greedy with pullups early, let the tendon get a few weeks of steady loading before you test it heavy. Though I would keep some cardio pre post training in the game.

I’m a little worried about getting an injury from being imbalanced since I’m on juice and my program is so heavy on pressing until I can balance it out again. I’m doing rear delt flys, straight arm lat pull downs, band y raises. Basically as much as I can do to hit my upper back without using biceps too much. I’m going to start working in just scapular retractions with straight arms.

You're right to be worried, always go slow and make sure you really warming up deep. @texas.redneck

@texas.redneck if the sides settled down that’s a good sign your body is adjusting. 1 week in there’s no rush to bump the dose, 12.5 already gives you solid benefits over time. Let it ride here for a few more weeks and see how recovery, sleep, and training performance trend. If you’re still making steady progress there’s no reason to push higher yet. Save the increase for when you actually need that extra push later in the cycle.

I popped a 0.5mg today but I was thinking something like 0.25 E3D or even once a week and see what my next labs show. Do you feel real strongly about me on 0.5 EOD?

I still have PTSD from my first newbie cycle when I just started taking estrogen blockers the first week and tanked my estrogen.

Thanks. And we will see about the six pack before winter. Remember I have the half Ironman I signed up for next March. I’ll start the training program for that around thanksgiving and that will lean me out going into spring 2026. So my goal is to reach peak leanness around March 2026 and then coming off that Ironman do another cycle but just stay super lean for that one which will take me into summer 2026.

Edit: so this cycle I guess could be considered bulking for me. And if I did my math right, when this current cycle ends through the Ironman in march is just enough time off cycle to start another one. It will be about as long as this cycle was including the PCT which I believe is the general rule of thumb for time between cycles.

I pushed it a little more yesterday with lat pull downs and some light eccentric curls.

Then next weekend I’ll start on the Mike Nippard Pull/Push/legs program. Bicep should be good to go, and I can make a Solid 6-7 week run on peak testosterone levels and Anavar.

I think a deload is always good. @texas.redneck I would start with the deload first and go from there.

I was thinking along the lines of that I need some fat on my bones to burn off so I don't eat into my muscle too much when I turn up the volume of cycling and have to add in two days of running to my training. Also, the race is early in the season, so the swim will be wetsuit legal. Wetsuits really helps buoyancy.

You don't need fat for any swimming or cycling, it's a myth imo

Struggling to decide on the right split for the last half of this cycle. I’m going all-in on bodybuilding for the next two months, but I have a few requirements:
  1. Wednesday morning swim stays – It’s a technique-focused session: ~20 minutes of drills and ~30 minutes of short sprints. I can drop cycling for now (on a bike not steroids) and catch back up on endurance in November since it doesn’t require the same level of technique.
  2. One full rest day each week – Non-negotiable.
  3. Saturday and Sunday are always my hardest training days – I don’t have to get up at 5 a.m., and I’m not rushing out early to get to work. I can take my time and hit everything, including calves, abs, whatever. So it doesn’t make much sense for my rest day to land on the weekend.
Originally, I was thinking a 6-day split:
Pull / Push / Legs / Pull / Push / Legs / Rest
But one of those lifting days would have to land on my swim day (Wednesday)—either at lunch or after work. And let’s be honest, whatever body part lands on that day won’t be getting 100% effort after swimming that morning.

Food is good. I tightened it up when I started the cycle. For example, Stopped deserts and more diligent about packing my healthy snacks so I don’t raid the junk food in break room at work (healthy snacks = chomps, cheese sticks, protein shake or bar, apples, nuts).

Then for last couple weeks made some small adjustments to dial back my calorie intake, like switched from whole milk to almond milk for my shakes and oatmeal. Eating more oatmeal for breakfast with eggs and sausage instead of bagel or protein waffles, etc. little calorie saving tweaks like that.

Generally speaking, I’m fine with my BF%. My diet is more for recovery and performance. But I am dialing back some calories.

You’re keeping food choices clean and that’s solid, but the issue isn’t really body fat here. What you need is more lean tissue so bumping protein up will make a difference. Right now your calories are dialed back and that’s fine, but you’ve got to make sure recovery is fully supported. Think of it like feeding the muscle, not just cutting calories. If you push protein higher while keeping those smart swaps, you’ll notice better recomp and tighter look over the next few weeks. I do think you have the dedication to even hit the stage one day. :D @texas.redneck
 
Some pics of some more crappy gear I bought before I got back on Evo. I’m using my Pharmaqo Anavar this cycle. I may use this Deus medical Anavar for the next one and the Clomid for PCT. That MK677 will most likely go in the trash. It was before I knew of the greatness of umbrella labs.

Oh yeah I got that. My normal diet is the typical close to 1 gram per bodyweight. 150-200 g for me. And my normal diet I never have a snack or meal without a protein source like I would never just eat an apple without a couple cheese sticks and beef stick or eat a bowl of oatmeal without eggs and protein.

Once I got on cycle, I made a few little tweaks that’s slapping another 50+ grams a day on there like adding an extra egg or sausage link in morning, with a protein shake. Also, working in an extra protein shake during the day and upping protein content on other meals.

That’s a solid base and you’re definitely covering the protein side. Since that’s dialed in, I’d look at timing a bit more around training to really push recovery and growth. Try loading a shake or fast protein right after and then a slower digesting source before bed. That way you’re feeding muscle constantly instead of long gaps. Could also play with carb timing to drive those extra grams of protein deeper into recovery. @texas.redneck I think in your situation if you have the time, we should talk carb cycling.
