Hello! I'm very excited to be here and super glad I stumbled across this forum, thank you for having me. I was almost ready to give up my hopes and dreams of becoming a freak of nature lol (I'm only kidding...sorta 😏)

About Me (Story time!): I'm 33, living in Ontario, Canada, been lifting consecutively for 2 years now after a lifetime of sedentary PC gaming, and have been making very good natural gains from my observation, but it could use a little more of a push to achieve the physique I'm aiming for within the time span I'm planning.

My first year was spent putzing around, riding high on the newbie gains, overtraining, and just generally mucking about in the gym. Year 2 is when I really started to lock in and go 110%, taking diet, training plan, and recovery more seriously.

I became a big fan of Mike Mentzer, Dorian Yates, Tom Platz, and Lee Priest and consider them by far my biggest (hah) inspirations for pursuing the sport of bodybuilding. I visited my first pro show in Toronto a few months ago and from what I witnessed, and the people I interacted with, like a religious conversion or finding your long lost family, I knew I had to pursue bodybuilding competitively, as soon as possible. Therefore, I've given myself a timeline of 2 years to achieve that goal with an enhanced regimen.

STATS:
Age: 33
Height - 6'4"
Weight - 215 lbs at last weigh (Down from 245 lbs at start)
I don't know my BF% but I reckon 20ish 🤔

DIET:
I'll be super real, I don't measure shit, dont crucify me please 🤣

A typical daily meal looks like this though:

- 1lb regular ground beef (75-78g protein)
Packet of Uncle Ben's rice (because I'm lazy)
- A handful of frozen mixed vegetables
- Whey protein shake (75g) w/instant coffee, 12 oz whole milk and water for volume
- 1 canned chicken breast (50g) w/ tablespoon of avocado mayo, black pepper, thyme
- 3-4 hard-boiled eggs (18-24g)
- Little lunch tray of assorted berries and nuts, and small garden salad bowl and single packet of balsamic vinaigrette from the supermarket to snack on at work.

If it matters, I prefer to workout fasted as I have more energy, and feel sick if I eat anything before training.

VITAMINS & SUPPLEMENTS:

Below is a detailed list of everything I take daily, everything is assumed the minimum directed dose on the label, because I can't remember exact mg numbers.

PRE-WORKOUT:

-Start off with a hot cup of bone broth with a scoop of collagen powder
- Testosterone Support from Iron Kingdom
https://a.co/d/07ZFvOIR (it includes things like Shilajit, Maca root, etc. Although if I'm being honest I think I'm just being suckered by the marketing)
- HMB+D3
- Saw Palmetto+Pumpkin & Flax
- Omega 369
- Creatine Monohydrate 20g
- C4 Sport pre workout mix

POST-WORKOUT:
- Whey protein shake (75g) w/ BCAA, 12oz of whole milk, and water for volume.
- Ashwagandha
- Magnesium L-threonate
- Magnesium Biglycinate+Oxide
- L-Theanine

TRAINING SCHEDULE:
Monday - Upper Body
Tuesday - Lower Body
Wednesday - REST
Thursday - Upper Body
Friday - Lower Body
Saturday/Sunday - REST

*I employ all exercises with generally 3 sets of 10-12 reps as heavy as I can within an effective ROM to failure while maximizing TOT as much as possible. I begin or end (depending on how I feel) every session with 20 minutes on the Stairmaster*

Upper Body:
- Incline dumbbell chest press
- Behind-neck barbell shoulder press followed by single arm dumbbell shoulder press
- Wide grip cable rows followed by close grip
- Wide grip lat pulldown followed by close grip
- Assisted dips because I'm a 🐱
- Cable flies for that strrrreeeetch
- Finish with deadlifts with a few bent over rows in between
- Archer pulls if my shoulders are bugging me

I have not included abs because I feel like I'm gaining enough definition from them through indirect stimulation using active core engagement during my routines, but you may have adverse opinions, and are welcome to share.

Lower Body:
- Double then single leg Quad extensions
- Ham curls, same deal
- Wide, then narrow stance Leg press followed by alternating single leg press
- Goblet squats because barbell squats hurts my lower back quite a bit and aggravates my hip flexors for some reason
- Standing calf raises

THEORIZED FIRST CYCLE PLAN - RATIONALE & LOGIC:

Are you still with me? Good! I know it's alot, but I've got quite a bit of ground to cover.

It pretty much makes my head spin from the noise and information-overload surrounding PEDs, especially regarding phase specific cycles and stacks and PCT protocols. But I've narrowed down what I believe to be the right compounds given my research, but more than welcome objections and alternatives. I plan to run these compounds on a 12 week cycle via weekly injection followed by an 8 week PCT

COMPOUNDS:

- Sustanon 250
This compound was chosen because I like the idea of a blend of esters VS picking one individually. I feel like this eliminates alot of the guesswork for me, and if I don't respond well to it, then I can try single ester compounds and eliminate from there.

- Deca-Durabolin (Nandrolone Decanoate)
This compound was chosen specifically for, but not limited to, the reported joint therapy aspects by users. IMO I read "silky smooth joints" and was hooked. I've suffered from aches and pains my whole life so this sounds like a dream come true for me.

- Dianabol
This oral compound was chosen because it reportedly pairs well with the other compounds I am contemplating, and to assist with their effects as I dont intend to run such high doses of the injectables (probably 500mg or less, unless otherwise advised)

PCT PROTOCOL:

Clomid
and Nolvadex are supposedly the recommended protocol, unless otherwise advised. 3-4 weeks after last injection on an 8-week schedule if I recall correctly.

That's it guys, that's my story. Please let me know if I missed anything. I'm very eager to hear your thoughts and opinions, and with your help I look forward to embarking on this path.

Thank you so much everyone! 🙏

Lol Roger that I'll track the remainder of the week's meals, and report back with a more specific training schedule. I am not currently taking those supplements you listed. How important are they on a scale of 1-10?

@IronCrusader33 i recommend with nandrolones always using a dht. proviron would work great

Tracking food is harder than I thought...

Today I ate a Subway sandwich, footlong on Italian bread with lettuce, cheddar, tomato, onion, jalapeño and garlic aioli. Macro trackers don't account for added ingredients and only factor the base sandwich. My estimate is 900-1000 calories, with the base calories being 870. 42g protein, 82g carbs, 42g fat, according to google.

I consumed a whey protein shake containing 3 scoops so 3x25g = 75g protein + 12 oz of protein fortified milk @18g/cup, 12oz = 1.5 cups, 27g, 130 calories

I then consumed a Premier Protein shake as a snack, 30g protein @ 160 calories

My bone broth this morning had 12g protein, with 9g protein from added collagen powder.

So what does this mean?

195g protein
1450 calories

My math must be really bad because that can't be right, oof....

😬😬😬

It would help to track meals :D if you can at least take pics @IronCrusader33

the supps well probiotics very important so is creatine, digestive enzymes can wait but psyllium important

Bros, after my plumbing accident I was sedentary for two years so I know where you're coming from. It feels good to get back into it and be in good shape so keep that up and let's hit this one hard. @IronCrusader33

You don't want to be eating fast food. Subway sandwiches are horrible for you. None of the ingredients in it, like the bread and the meat, is natural. It's all preservatives and all junk. @IronCrusader33 best thing you can do is food prep.

😬😬😬
@IronCrusader33 don't get into the habit of just caring about macros. That can be misleading. A Subway sandwich has a lot of junk in it, additives and preservatives, and it really puts a lot of stress on your body. You want to stick to muscle-building foods. Make your own sub if you want a sub.

I think you look fantastic already man. You sure you want to go with a bulking stack like this? I would swap out the Dianabol for maybe some Anavar or TBol. You don't want to blow up too much and get a lot of water retention. @IronCrusader33

Bros, after my plumbing accident I was sedentary for two years so I know where you're coming from. It feels good to get back into it and be in good shape so keep that up and let's hit this one hard. @IronCrusader33
You had an accident, I am just lazy and unmotivated, we are not the same. 😉

Lmao jokes aside, I'm glad you recovered and back on your form.

Tbh I watched one episode of Reacher and said "That's it, I need to get big." 🤣

Nah bu for real though, my motivation comes from Socrates, the quote "it is a crime against nature for a man to grow old without witnessing the strength and beauty of which his body is capable" I read that and really felt it, like "Jesus Christ what the fuck am I doing with my life?" Going into my mid 30s, never been active in my life, shits starting to break down, I couldn't allow that. After having my kids I realized I can't be a fat loaf any more, and there are some really bad people out there wishing to do them harm. Some people train to fight their demons, but sometimes those demons walk among us. I want to set an example for my boys to never be a victim to anyone, including yourself.

LFG 💪

Will share my food prep working on it now. The subway sandwich was an emergency decision lmao

@IronCrusader33 welcome to evo we are glad to have you here on the forum.

My Meal Prep:

Sorry guys, I'm just not doing math to eat my food. What I eat should be the least stressful thing in my day, I'm not going to be an Accountant logging every Crumb. 🤣

I've made assorted containers of 1lb ground beef, mixed veg, and wild rice cooked in chicken broth (4 cups). I eat about 2 of these a day supplemented with 3 scoops whey protein shake with milk (75g) and collagen powder along with all my other supplements. During work I buy a container of mixed fruit or berries to consume

I feel this is a very sensible meal plan, and I am satisfied with it this far. I'm generally not hungry throughout the day, especially in the morning. I need that few hours into the day to feel hungry and by then its already lunch time. So I eat one container at work, and then one when I get home. These are quick to make, easily storable, and reheatable. 👍

Great start to your log here on Evo @IronCrusader33 . I understand you not wanting to log food, but it is a useful tool to gaining muscle size, losing fat, knowing what works and what doesn't. I didn't as I found it to be a chore but I do now because it has changed how I manipulate food to get my physical gains. It's of course up to you, it's your log, but consider it at some point. Welcome to Evo and I will enjoy following you along on your journey 🩵

I appreciate your kind words! Its a good feeling when others notice your progress, especially those further ahead than you, it's very motivating, thank you!

Honestly, I am no longer sure lol. I thought my logic was pretty solid but you obviously have more experience, and that's part of why I'm here. Ultimately, I'm trying to get big, big as fuck, I don't care too much about looking shredded yet, I'm not at a competitive stage where I ought to be concerned about that, but perhaps I have the wrong perception, and that's why I'm here, to learn and grow! I did consider that maybe the dbol is a little much, it's just what came recommended in my searches regarding deca cycles. I'm pretty insistent on the Deca tho even just from a therapeutic standpoint, I think it has great benefits regardless of bulking.
Well lots of people have run that stack before. You'll definitely get big on it but it may not be what you want with the bloat. That's all I'm saying.

I literally just forgot to bring a lunch to work and there was nothing else available in the area 😢 I dont typically eat subway. The post was merely a practice run to track food since I've never done it before. But I agree with you 100%!
Trust me when I say you're better off eating nothing than eating that crap.

Bros, that's a very humbling experience you had but I was also lazy doing my two-year recovery. I was very depressed and just laid in bed. I didn't want to get better.

Great log start bro, always nice to see another canadian bro on here. Since your goal is to "Ultimately, get big, big as fuck" then your going to need lots of whey and mass gainer lol. Cheapest place i found if your trying to save some $$$ on supplements is in London.

https://supplementsource.ca/

They have a clearance section where you can usually find clearance mass gainer 12lb to 15lb in the $60 to $90 range. And sometimes get whey for around $20 for a 1.8lb or 2lb tub. Ive gotten pre-workouts for $15 and 1kg of creatine for $30. Though theres not always a lot of choice in flavour.

Training Log 02/12/2026: Upper Body

Today's workout was a bit of a shitshow, I slipped and fell on some ice on my way to the car this morning and just fucking HIT the pavement 😤🤣

Pre-Workout:
Before my workout, I consumed 2 scoops of C4 Sport with 20g of Creatine and 2 scoops of collagen powder, with 24oz of water. I consumed my testosterone support, HMB with D3, Omega 369 and Saw Palmetto with Pumpkin & Flax supplements.

Incline Dumbbell Chest Press
50lbs - x3 sets of x10 reps, followed by x2 sets of single arm presses x10 reps

Single Arm Seated Dumbell Shoulder Press
45lbs - x3 sets each arm x10-12 reps

Behind Neck Barbell Shoulder Press
25lbs - Slow controlled descent seated on the smith machine I performed x3 sets of x12 reps

Wide Grip Cable Rows
120lbs - using a full range of motion I performed x3 sets of x10-12 reps followed by
Close Grip Cable Rows
120lbs - X3 sets of 10 reps

Wide Grip Lat Pulldown
140lbs - x3 sets of 10-12 reps followed by
Close Grip x3 sets of 10 reps

Cable Chest Flies
27lbs - x4 sets of 8-10 reps, maximum stretch, controlled eccentric, slow and steady wins the race!

Front Cable Raises
40lbs - In a supinated hand position, x3 sets of 10 reps followed by single set, single arm across the body for 10 reps

Back Extensions
Holding a 35lb plate, I performed x2 sets of 10 reps. Nothing significant, just to work out some lower back stiffness from falling on my ass this morning lmao

Cardio
I began the session with 20 minutes on the stairmaster on level 5. Then finished with 10 minutes on the rope machine in 30 second intervals on medium resistance

Hydration - about 2 liters of water was consumed during my workout

Post Workout
After my workout, I consumed a 24oz whey protein shake, 3 scoops (75g protein) mixed with 12 oz of protein milk (18g) and water. I will eat my meal prep later at work during my break.

Total Time: 2 hours

I just didn't find the myfitnesspal app that helpful/accurate when trying to calculate the macros so I just mental mathed it (and then gave up lmao) but each meal container should have 103g protein @ 1475 calories, the beef alone is 91g protein @ 1015 calories, the rice is another 8g protein @ 340 calories, so factoring the mixed veggies at another 100 cals and 4g protein, and the seasoning at 20 cals.

you didnt find it accurate? why?
without having a base of macros and foods its all guessing
if you want to use steroids, you need to show some responsibility by tracking foods closely at least 2 weeks lets see @IronCrusader33

lat pull downs I like that, and 6 sets of pull ups total is amazing can you bump it?

way too many variables in the search options makes it hard to narrow down the correct food item without trial/error, cross referencing my own calculations, and the barcode scan function (which would be substantially faster) is a paid service. Although truthfully if I'm being painfully honest this is a user based issue xD

Having said, the numbers I've crunched on my own for the meal prep are accurate and triple checked 👍 so I'm comfortable just plugging in the numbers to chatGPT or whatever if I can't just do the math on my own.

Rest assured, that is what I will be eating for the next two weeks!

Tomorrow is leg day and I will post my training log!

Training Log 02/12/2026: Legs

Pre-Workout:

Exactly as yesterday, I consumed 2 scoops of C4 Sport with 20g of Creatine and 2 scoops of collagen powder (9g protein, 35 calories), with 24oz of water. I consumed my testosterone support, HMB with D3, Omega 369 and Saw Palmetto with Pumpkin & Flax supplements.

Today's leg day was cut short due to poor time management, it happens :(

Started with only 15 minutes on the stairmaster today

Quad Extension
-175lbs for 3 sets of 8-10 reps
-100lbs single leg extension for 3 sets of 8 reps

Hamstring Curls
-150lbs for 3 sets of 10
-50lbs single leg curl for 3 sets of 8

Decline Leg Press
-
360lbs wide stance for 3 sets of 10, repeated with close stance for 3 sets, 10 reps, fully extending through with my calves (I had to incorporate calf work somehow due to time limitations)
-180lbs alternating single leg presses for 3 sets of 8 reps

Total Time: 1 hour

Post Workout

Great log update brother. Love the information on pre and post workout regime and the actual training itself.
Your log is YOUR own personal journey to health and fitness. How you feel, attitude, next goal, random musings (I'm really good at those 🤣), what your eating, is all part of this journey.
If you briefly log how you navigate all of this plus just normal everyday life it may help someone reading it, and there are a lot of people reading these logs. It certainly allows you to mind dump on a page. Evo Fam love brother 🩵

Good log bro, nice meal prep and lifts. Doing great.

If you want a suggestion, id add in your supplement doses of your other supps as well. Dont worry about listing single ingredients in multiple ingredient supps like multivitamins. Though list the caffeine in your C4 as well if you do because its a stimulant. Itll give the more experienced bros a more complete picture of your regimen for when they give advice.

If you want a quick way to log a supp list, or your pre or post W/O sections stay consistent, make a list in notes on phone as a copy and paste. You can modify bits and pieces if you change something or drop/start a supp

Heres my copy and paste just as an example.

way too many variables in the search options makes it hard to narrow down the correct food item without trial/error, cross referencing my own calculations, and the barcode scan function (which would be substantially faster) is a paid service.

Tomorrow is leg day and I will post my training log!
if you have the numbers crunched for meal prep please post :D @IronCrusader33

I've included them in my training logs for you good sir 🫡

Definitely getting better at it and is not as daunting as I perceived. I realized I wasn't factoring in the calories from the whey protein!

Take a look and tell me how I'm coming along 👍

I'm working on structuring my logs to be as detailed as possible 🙏

Aye, I can do that, but may have to drop the weight, or I can maintain the weight at lower rep ranges. How do you recommend I proceed? Just increase my resting periods?
you can drop weight we talking about volume here for the pump
dont rest too much @IronCrusader33

Happy Monday EVO gang! Rise and grind!!

I hope everyone had a good weekend and got some well earned rest.

I did not track the weekends meals because it was so little I hardly thought it worth it, I just wasn't hungry, and Im dealing with some personal issues that took away considerable amounts of my attention.

I was able to get Saturdays meals logged, but like I said it was not much, Sunday was even less so I ate one bowl of lentils and rice and my daily protein shake, and I feel like my performance today was negatively impacted because I got cooked SO fast today 😮‍💨

But it looks like brown rice, lentils, beets, sweet potato, and lemon chicken with a scoop of Greek yogurt. Delicious!

Anyways, looking forward to getting back on track with my prep for Leg Day tomorrow, as the shops will be open (it was a stat holiday in Ontario today and I forgot xD)

@IronCrusader33 good workout....volume looks nice.....

No session today. I slept funny and also not long enough and woke up with a great pain in my pelvic region. Gonna postpone leg day until tomorrow. I'm feeling far too fatigued and shakey and wondering if I might be experiencing any hormonal imbalances from my diet/training? I don't think I'm consuming enough fats. Id like to be able to get bloodwork checked to see if I'm missing anything if anyone has any advice on how to do that.

Today's meal prep is chicken and egg salad

3 boiled eggs
1 canned chicken breast
1/3 cups bacon crumble
1 avocado
1 tbsp avocado mayo
1 cup mixed vegetables
1/2 can of mixed beans

Welllll holyyyyyyy shit we got a new Ontarian on here!!!! @IronCrusader33 .... BRO! WELCOME!!!

First of all you're funny as f*ck and had me giggling so I pointed out some 'formalities' that were an enigma to your personality that also had me giggling too. I love your log so far. You asked how to make it better and for the straight goods and that's all I know how to give so here goes...

Are you still with me? Good!
Oh I'm with you bro, will be for the whole log, I'm in Ontario too!

IMO I read "silky smooth joints"
Just be careful with the Deca dose or this should read "silky smooth dick at all times". Be mindful of the Deca dick, it's a known relationship buzz kill. With Deca I'm already thinking ahead to recommend 5mg cialis daily.

THEORIZED FIRST CYCLE PLAN - RATIONALE & LOGIC:
Amazing humour in your log so this was a funny little way of showing your intelligence I liked it

My math must be really bad because that can't be right, oof....
Uh, nope no it wasn't :p

I then consumed

I consumed
Two very formal terms mixed in with the Canadian humour, I like the mix of terminology you got goin here because you coulda said "I scarfed" or "I fuckin ate er bud"

Tbh I watched one episode of Reacher and said "That's it, I need to get big." 🤣
Let's all play "guess that cycle"... That was a Test/Deca total dead giveaway when he took his shirt off.

This hurt my eyes to read. We'll have to get you a template for your macros and get your diet posted up on here more accurately and most consistently. Trust me bro it's the make or break of a cycle. You can check my 2026 log and if you like that template you can copy it and I won't tell the teacher :p

Guys, let me know if I can improve these logs in any way, or if I'm doing good enough so far
Keep reading.... LOL

How do you recommend I proceed?
As guided on here, the best bodybuilding, health and recovery forum on the planet... you're doing great so far bro.

would I be overtraining by doing legs again tomorrow
EeeeeeYUP

Total Protein: 224g
Total Calories: 1778
Bruh... the math LOL... it's all good we'll fix this we got you.

(Why was the barbell way harder to move?? 🤔)
Lack of Tren, but that's for later on the down the road let's go slow...

Im dealing with some personal issues that took away considerable amounts of my attention.
EVO is here for you for that too... if you check my log I have a confessional booth in mine and in my 2025 log I told a snipit of my life story and ongoing bouts of fuckery as the year went on.

Ingredient Breakdown (google estimates)
  • 3 Boiled Eggs: 210-230 kcal | 18-19g Protein | 15-16g Fat
  • 1 Canned Chicken Breast (approx. 5oz): 150-200 kcal | 30-35g Protein | 5-8g Fat
  • 1/3 Cup Bacon Crumble: 150-180 kcal | 10-12g Protein | 12-14g Fat
  • 1 Whole Avocado: 200-250 kcal | 2-3g Protein | 20-25g Fat | 10g Fiber
  • 1 Tbsp Avocado Mayo: 90-100 kcal | 0g Protein | 10-12g Fat
  • 1 Cup Mixed Vegetables: 50-70 kcal | 2-3g Protein | 0-1g Fat | 4-5g Fiber
  • 1/2 Can Mixed Beans (approx. 120g): 100-120 kcal | 6-8g Protein | 0-1g Fat | 5-6g Fiber
This is getting better but then what you could do is do a grand total for this for us so we're not adding numbers up as we read (but still post something like this). You'll get faster at it as time goes. In 2025 all I did at the start was focus on my log and I didn't post anywhere else much at first. Once you get your log honed in we'll be better able to give you more feedback. Above I see about 65-70g of honest protein for example and on cycle you'll need at least 200g/day at your weight.

After having my kids I realized I can't be a fat loaf any more
Great insight and I like your drive to build yourself for defence of them. Being a great Dad and example is first and foremost and you can set that example with EVO's help. It's made me a better person in so many ways as I've pointed out in my log.

I did consider that maybe the dbol is a little much
Uh yes, it would return you to fat loaf status at this point so we don't want dbol right now.

Bro, it's refreshing having a new Canadian that seems dedicated and interested on here, especially a fellow Ontarian and I can't wait to follow along and give you the best advice you need for your goals. Oh, and it's fackin' only -2 here, so much for Winterlude eh?

Some surface advice for now:
  • Try to focus on diet/macros and figure out a template you can cut and paste for each log update that looks the same (check my log for example). Pics pics pics.

  • List exercises at the gym with number of sets and reps and add your funny-ass commentary too. Include cardio when/if you do it.

  • Post your current cycle and dosages including any AI's with each log update so those that are just stopping in can quickly see what you're running and where you're at

  • Don't be afraid to post any pics of progress updates. Let's say your log runs 6 months long then you'll have those "holy shit" moments/pics to look back on in your log on here

  • Your log is 'your' log you can vent or post anything you want on here and we will help you out. Try to post an update minimum twice a week or one really comprehensive one once a week but for new guys daily is best so we can help you the most. Don't lose faith in us we will always be here.

  • Don't be afraid to ask for good sources on here (and OMG yes I'm an ex cop as you'll see in my log, look out :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:) and make sure you're getting your gear from trusted sources here on EVO, it's the only gear we can recommend that will be good to go with purity and dosing. We actually give a shit what you're injecting into your body imagine that. I recommend @biogenix and I am currently running all their gear right now with unreal results. My bloodwork is forthcoming.

  • Is it possible you want to have more kids? Let us know if so because we'll need to figure out if you want to do PCT or are a 'TRT forever' kind of guy.

Thanks for giving me an out loud chuckle while I browse EVO brother... I'm near Dwyer Hill outside Ottawa, DM me if you wanna chat about maple syrup or eskimos/snow cones etc. (that was for the USA members reading LOL).

Welllll holyyyyyyy shit we got a new Ontarian on here!!!! @IronCrusader33 .... BRO! WELCOME!!!
Ahaha thank you brother!! And, I appreciate your support! Glad you picked up on the humour 🤣

You've given me alot to ponder over, so forgive me if I have to go over what you've written so far a few times.

I definitely want to focus on dialling in my macros before going on dose for sure. The food I list is always assumed 2 servings. So for example that chicken salad would have been eaten twice for a total of, by your count, 65g-75g so 130g-150g. But I supplement with protein shakes as well adding another 80g. Thats 230g, more than enough I suppose!

But man, yeah I suck ass at math, no seriously I failed every math class, I just cant do numbers lol XD
Im going to be honest, this is the first time I've ever even started *counting* my reps. Before I just picked up heavy circle until no more can do lmao I am but a simple man 🤣

Interesting to know you're in the ON as well! Im sorry to hear that...lol! You make it sound like there aren't many leafs on this forum. Might hit you up tho, you said you were former leo? Would love to know more about that. Was considering myself and never knew if I should have. Could be good convo.

I dunno how you get those quote links in your reply, Im still getting used to the websites formatting

Nah man, I appreciate everything you said brother, and I will admit, most this shit is difficult enough already what with my own personal bullshit. Im having a rough go domestically if you know what I mean, its not good...
I got alot on my mind I gotta deal with and I'm going to be honest, counting numbers to eat food really pisses me the fuck off 🤣

Im really trying though, I work evenings so my sleep schedule sucks, I get home late. It's what it is.🤷
It's all about how you balance things, am I right? Anyways, thanks for taking the time to review these logs, means alot to get some of your time, I know everyone's got busy lives, so thanks. I'll keep as updated as I can, Im committed to this journey because I have to be. For my boys.

In the same club broski. Orillia, just north of Toronto an hr or so.

As for the quoting instead of replying. You can click quote on each post you want to reply to and rearrange them in the quote menu and then insert the quotes, space them etc. Or if its a long ass single post, and i want to reply like im answering individual questions, then i hit reply, highlight what i want to cut out like you did for your last post to @HarleyGuy . I do that multiple times so i end up with how this post is.

@IronCrusader33

Thats 230g, more than enough I suppose!
230g is good we can stay at 230g just need you to do your best to track each day. Now we move on to carbs and then fats.... give it time we can fine tune your log as we go.

Im going to be honest, this is the first time I've ever even started *counting* my reps.
All good bro, we come to EVO to improve on everything from life skills, to mental health, right down to counting reps so we can track our true progress and accomplishments. I don't want this to be overwhelming we can deal with one part of your log at a time and over time.

Might hit you up tho, you said you were former leo? Would love to know more about that.
Former leo yes before seconded to other joint task force. I'm an open book and have zero fucks so you can ask me anything either on here or in DM's.

I dunno how you get those quote links in your reply, Im still getting used to the websites formatting
See @Shakey's reply... he's smarter than her let's on LOL.

I got alot on my mind I gotta deal with and I'm going to be honest, counting numbers to eat food really pisses me the fuck off 🤣
Love the honesty here, and I agree this is what takes me the most time in my log especially from 2025. Now what I do is I take pics as I go and then have my meals in my phone for when I have time for later to calculate. I even weigh my food real quick using a food scale so it's easy to look up macros; I post pics in my log of my weighed food too (ie: 300g of steel cut oats, etc)

Im having a rough go domestically if you know what I mean, its not good...
Bro, we had a member throwing up screen shots of texts with his girl and asking if this was cheating or not. This is a no judgement zone on EVO both for progress pics and anything life-related. If you need honest feedback you'll get it here.

Im really trying though
I can see that and you're doing amazing! For real.

It's all about how you balance things, am I right?
Balance is everthing, with certain things ranking higher like family and parental responsibilities. EVO family is in there for me too

Im committed to this journey because I have to be. For my boys.
Love this... and your boys will notice long before you've noticed it in yourself.

Keep up the great work brother we got your back! EVO family love and support to you!

Miserable session, just miserable...

I think Im just really stressed, my wife and I have separated and she's currently determined to be as difficult as superhumanly possible.

Today's leg session was just 40 minutes on the stairmaster and 12 sets x 10 reps @ 230lbs on the leg press.
Sorry to hear that brother.

For that meal in particular?

Ingredient Breakdown (google estimates)
  • 3 Boiled Eggs: 210-230 kcal | 18-19g Protein | 15-16g Fat

  • 1 Cup Mixed Vegetables: 50-70 kcal | 2-3g Protein | 0-1g Fat | 4-5g Fiber
  • 1/2 Can Mixed Beans (approx. 120g): 100-120 kcal | 6-8g Protein | 0-1g Fat | 5-6g Fiber
you're low fat, and even with the avocados we need more omega 3 fats in the diet, add walnuts daily @IronCrusader33

I feel you on that bro. Even if its a miserable sesh, as long as a little bit of anything got done, itll keep you from getting in a rut.

Big shout out to @LevButlerov for the psyllium husk deep lore. I took the most satisfying shit of my life this morning 🤣

Aren't I good? I said I felt like I'm not consuming enough fats xD Listen to your bodies folks!

Alright, more walnuts it is. Also more fish too I guess, I hardly eat any.

Thanks brother 🙏

Meal Log:

24oz Protein shake, 3 scoops w/ Psyllium Husk
650g Scalloped potatoes
284g Smoked brisket
750g Korean BBQ chicken and stir fry

220g Protein
3,020 Calories
Broski hows the husk in your protein shake, does it still taste fine. I slam back 14g of husk mixed with 10g of creatine in like 200ml of water like its a shotglass. Was deciding whether to combine or not.

psyllium husk deep lore. I took the most satisfying shit of my life this morning 🤣
2 things that changed my life from near fatally debilitating shits.:ROFLMAO:
1. Switched to lactose free options
2. Psyllium husk

Oh yeah, tastes totally fine! Kinda chunky though after it thickens up, so may not be palatable for some but I'm a fucking weirdo like that (I LOVE full pulp orange juice) and find it more filling. But I only add a tablespoon, you're using 14 grams?!? 😮 Your turds must be like bricks lmfao 🤣

Hmm i think id rather not ruin my shakes. Lol. Ill one up you on that weird shit, one of my favourite flavours is drinking orange juice immediately after brushing my teeth.

After upping to 5mg reta i had to increase from 14g daily to 28g daily just for some rigidity. Lmao. @HarleyGuy takes 60g daily probably shits diamonds.

Are you taking organic psyllium husk powder with no filler like metamucil? Cause a rounded 1/2 tbsp is 6-7g so your taking 14g too bro. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Training Log: Upper Body 19/02/2026

I'm no longer including my post and pre workout regimen, it seems redundant as it never changes.

Dumbbell Incline Chest Press
- 50lbs, 4 sets of 10. Finished with single arm presses for 2 sets of 5

Behind Neck Barbell Shoulder Press (Smith Machine)
- 45lbs, 3 sets of 10

One Arm Dumbell Shoulder Press
40lbs, 3 sets of 10 each arm

Wide Grip then Close Grip Cable Rows
- 140lbs, 3 sets of 10 each

Wide Grip then Close Grip Lat Pulldown
- 120lbs, 4 sets of 10 each

Cable Flies (Chest)
- 27lbs, 4 sets of 10

Supinated Front Delt Cable Raises
- 22lbs, 3 sets of 10

Cardio
- 20 minutes Stairmaster level 5
- 10 minutes rope machine 20 second intervals

At this point I'm going to respectfully ask the class for their input. Any recommendations to introduce some movement variation?

A point of concern: I realized I have quite a noticable anterior pelvic tilt. Could any of these movements be impacting that directly? My hypothesis is I need to start focusing on more direct core work. What can I do that doesn't take up alot of time? Or should I start dedicating days specifically for core?

Hey brother, I will respectfully suggest, Any barbell movement for chest, DB flys, T-bar rows, deadlifts. Any of these done with a bit of weight will also engage your core if your time is limited. That said, a core day is always good if you can do one.
This is only a few and obviously there are no leg exercises here either.
They are some of my fav's though 💪🩵

A few of my favs are
Upright rows
Unilatetal lat pulldowns
Alternating Over/Under grip bent over rows

Of course all dropsets lol

@IronCrusader33 amazing job on this. The dumbbell incline chest press and the one arm dumbbell shoulder press are fantastic. Keep it up.

Nice job on this man. Wide grip is looking really good and so are the delt raises, and I like the cardio as well. @IronCrusader33

@IronCrusader33 bros, keep up the good work on this. I like the wide grip then close grip and I like how you are doing the behind-the-neck barbell shoulder press. Just be careful with the neck and the spine. You don't want to pop a disc.

Training Log: Upper Body 19/02/2026

I'm no longer including my post and pre workout regimen, it seems redundant as it never changes.

Dumbbell Incline Chest Press
- 50lbs, 4 sets of 10. Finished with single arm presses for 2 sets of 5

Behind Neck Barbell Shoulder Press (Smith Machine)
- 45lbs, 3 sets of 10

One Arm Dumbell Shoulder Press
40lbs, 3 sets of 10 each arm

Wide Grip then Close Grip Cable Rows
- 140lbs, 3 sets of 10 each

Wide Grip then Close Grip Lat Pulldown
- 120lbs, 4 sets of 10 each

Cable Flies (Chest)
- 27lbs, 4 sets of 10

Supinated Front Delt Cable Raises
- 22lbs, 3 sets of 10

Cardio
- 20 minutes Stairmaster level 5
- 10 minutes rope machine 20 second intervals

At this point I'm going to respectfully ask the class for their input. Any recommendations to introduce some movement variation?

A point of concern: I realized I have quite a noticable anterior pelvic tilt. Could any of these movements be impacting that directly? My hypothesis is I need to start focusing on more direct core work. What can I do that doesn't take up alot of time? Or should I start dedicating days specifically for core?
the cardio is outstanding. cable flies are also on point. and nice on the cable raises love it @IronCrusader33

Good workout but you can include your pre and post workout regimen in smaller font so it's included in each log update for anyone hopping onto your log for the first time and checking your most recent update. It's up to you.

Can you describe the pelvic tilt in a little more detail? And I always end most workout with some core work be it planks or weighted crunches or both.

Happy Monday EVO family! Wishing everyone a beautiful and productive start to their week!

The weekend was very, very busy. I had my sons over for the weekend and just absolutely gorged ourselves on pizza, chicken nuggets, candy, soda, and video games. I think I ate enough pizza and gummy bears to feed a former Soviet Bloc nation with a questionable GDP rate. Needless to say, my food intake will be extremely light today while I work off this giant surplus of sugar and carbs 🤣

What is this? A list for ants?! @HarleyGuy

Cardio: I started the session with 20 minutes on the stairmaster at level 5.

RDL (Barbell)
*Some of you may, or may not, have been wondering "where the fuck are this guys compound lifts?" Well, fine. Baby's first deadlift. That's actually not true, I hurt my back trying to deadlift 270lbs a few months back just to see if I could (and did) and have been too scared to try again until now. Started off nice and easy I think.*

- 110lbs, 2 sets of 12 reps. Then a single set of 10, then 5 until my back said "please señor por favor no mas!" (I have no idea why my back is spanish, shut up.)

Dumbell Chest Press
- 50lbs, 3 sets of 10 reps, then a set of 8
Then, a set each of single arm presses for 8

*I may start considering drop sets here as the 50s are becoming too easy in the beginning, but too hard as the sets progress. So maybe start with a set of 60 then drop 10 each set? You tell me. 🤔*

Behind Neck Barbell Shoulder Press (Smith Machine)
- 50lbs, 2 sets of 10
- 25lbs, 2 sets of 10
- Single set of 10 just the bar

*I acknowledge a couple folks here warning about shoulder injury with this movement, which is why I use the Smith in the first place, for the stability and to control descent with little risk of injury or impairment, plus it just feels really good on my shoulders. Nothing to worry about here.*

Single Dumbell Shoulder Press
-45lbs, 2 sets of 10 reps, followed by 2 sets of 8 for each arm respectively.

*I need to start doing more side laterals, I think I avoid them because my grip strength is a limiting factor, but theres too much front delt bias in my sessions in my opinion. Solution is to maybe start with side laterals first in the shoulder sets? 🤔*

Wide Grip Lat Pulldown
- 140lbs, 2 sets of 10
-120lbs, 2 sets of 10
Close Grip Pulldowns
- 120lbs, 2 sets of 10, then 1 set of 8

Cable Rows (Close Grip)
- 120lbs, 3 sets of 10, then 3 sets of 8

Maybe tomorrow I might feel brave enough to do squats again! That'd be cool. My back seems to be okay enough now. Nothing crazy just two plates and maybe go for volume if I can. As always, I really appreciate you all taking the time to review these logs and offer your valuable insights. 🙏

I know I've really been slacking hardcore on the macro tracking and only hope @LevButlerov doesn't find out where I live and force me to do it Clockwork Orange style (he might have to 🤣)

Nice lifts broski. Did i hear DROPSETS? So when i do either dropsets or triple dropsets i generally aim for complete failure between 6-8 reps (4-7 on triple drops).

If your hitting failure already at 10 and 8 reps with the 50's, the 55's should put you in a good range for a dropset. 60's might put you at the lower end unless youve been holding out on yourself? Lol. Give the 55s a try first set. I find dropping 15 on dumbells to give me a good burn

If your thinking bout dropsets, try incorporating them into your pulldowns. Either by weight or bar grip changes.
You can bang out overhand wide grip reps to failure, then overhand middle grip failure, then underhand close grip to squeeze out everything humanly possible. Its called a mechanical dropset or in this case a triple position dropset
