-estrogen is much better controlled from daily injection. Was not taking arimidex, total was >1500, estrogen just above upper range (same as when I was doing bi-weekly inj. w/ total test of 980'ish)

Bros, good job posting up your bloodwork. It's good to see your dosing versus what the bloodwork translates to. I think it's pretty much on point for the gear you're using. Means you have some good gear. @Flash_is_Fast

You'll never go wrong getting in some good blood work numbers. @Flash_is_Fast now you have something to fall back on and come back as a reference point.

@Flash_is_Fast definitely need to get your estrogen in line. If you keep it elevated for too long, you could end up with some issues that are harder to reverse.

Steroid cycling absolutely will mess up your blood work as you're seeing right here. The key is when you come off, do your liver numbers and kidney numbers get back to where they should be? That's the important thing. @Flash_is_Fast

At the very least you should be running tudca, NAC, and milk thistle for liver support

Was feeling a bit like I had some allergies or a slight ainus infection.

Yea dropping the orals will help for sure. Your illness could've inflated the numbers a bit too. I think if you get some good organ support going you'd be fine to continue as you were.

No need to drop the test. The orals would be the biggest factor contributing to the high liver enzymes.

Its amazing the way they can really fuck the macros of a meal at those restaurants LOL. I'm always thinking the exact same thing when I look up the nutritional facts of a chain restaurant meal. Must be loads of oil and butter in every part of the meal I think
 
New job will have me traveling a bit. Ill definitely have less of a controlled schedule for training than i have recently, and less options for mid day food through 3 days a week.



Diet: For the first month I'll hold cals where they are. Im a solid 183, between 3% & 20% bf at the moment.ill get some check in pics, but I'm fairly happy with where I am based on where I started.



Training: Have a shorter PPl 6day split and Push/Pull 4 day split cued up. Cardio will look different as well, sometimes after weight training.

Congrats on landing that new job! I remember back when you mentioned you might be making this switch.

You seem to like a lot of bodyweight training so I bet you figure out a way to make it work. The real question will be how do you get all that cardio in that you love so much

Probably getting a gym membership to use on the road, and Ill travel with some running shoes and possibly a bike depending on the company car. Trying to get a model Y, which should fit it.

Yea I've seen people at the trailhead with model Y's before. You can get a hitch carrier or I've seen guys pull them right outta the back. Tesla's are really popular where I live. Crazy how many EVs you see at the trailhead. Then there's me with my F-150 LOL.

I've noticed a lot of the fancier EV owners like the Rivians and Hummer EVs also ride Santa Cruz....funny how that works eh lol

Im thinking 3 days lifting, 3 days cardio. The decision is PPL, full body, or upper lower - does it even matter if i just get good intensity and enough volume?

Cardio is staying. 4hours a week is a hard minimum.

I had an F150 for a while - loved it. But I end up in parking garages in the city and it was a pain to park. The Mrs wants me to get a sprinter - but Im a cheap bastard.

Ive had quite few santa cruz bikes, you'd laugh if you saw my stable and all the bikes I've gone through over the last decade. It's about time to build up a new one!

meal prep is easy just prep the meals freeze and take with you, any microwave is yours @Flash_is_Fast

on the training just go with 2 full body sessions per day and rest home sessions

Ive had quite few santa cruz bikes, you'd laugh if you saw my stable and all the bikes I've gone through over the last decade. It's about time to build up a new one!
Santa Cruz builds some nice bikes but I'd only buy one if I got a discount like you lol. The builds are underwhelming when you compare them dollar for dollar. For higher end I like Specialized a lot and I got a YT also. Bang for buck YT builds are untouchable

Santa cruz has been a profit monster since the OG owners sold it. Nothing new. Last gen frames were still good, but the newest V5/6 or whatever are getting heavy and the colors - jesus.

YT is a great move. Good geo and better suspension kinematics.
 
progress has plateaued. Might be time to bump up or add something.

Weight is fairly steady after upping carbs to around 225g avg.

Not as fat as when I started.

progress has plateaued. Might be time to bump up or add something.

Weight is fairly steady after upping carbs to around 225g avg.

Not as fat as when I started.

I'm planning the same cycle for myself this summer. Can't go wrong with that combo

Be happy the whole time
Stay healthy and injury free
Sounds all very reasonable with that cycle.

EQ is good for endurance athletes too it will improve your riding unlike most compounds

Will look into durastride/finasteride, but sides are not good - but not everyone gets sides. So...

On the flip - is there anything safe if i wanted a boost?

I am using the new family history combined with the increased need for the alpha blocker (tamsulosin) as an indicator that I need to check it out.

It probably just needs tren. We'll see if the uro concurs.

Thanks - lots of things happening all at once - havent been able to log.

Still training, eating as clean as I can, and trying to keep progressing.

I'll be back. Just need to settle in to the new role at work and get through the next 3 months of training, co-travel, & learning the ropes.

went and got blood drawn this morning, and doc only ordered a cbc and bmp (8 test/ basic metabolic panel).

Last week i spoke to him (my gp) about high potassium, BPH concerns, and i thought he was drawing for DHT and PSA again.

The main concern from him was the 6.4 potasssium. Thats heart artack range.

All other kidney markers were normal (creatinine was high, but he understood i take creatine, etc)

So he did an ECG and it was normal, not what would be expected with severe electrolyte imbalance.

I havent had any symptoms of high potassium, no arythemias, no cramps, nothing.

Potassium has been highly elevated last two draws. Havent got results from today. I don't think the phlebotomist could've punctured muscle twice - seems unlikely - but ut would cause high potassium.

hgh potassium could have been just from your diet, I wouldn't panic on it @Flash_is_Fast
im guessing its just something you need to hydrate more for
though you havent updated diet or training a month+ so I could be wrong

Will be starting a new 16week cycle shortly. goals: improve athletic performanceVO2 efforts, 5rm squat, 5rm bench. Add to delts, chest, quads, calfs.

plan is:

Wks 1-2: maintenance cals
160mg Test C
100mg Primo
0.5mg finasteride (1 single dose for the first week if boners die so does the finasteride. If sex drive is good, slowly titrate in. Getting Prostate imaging as soon as I can get the order in. Probably didnt mention I broke my neck a while back and have c1-3 fused. It causes some weird issues and BPH symptoms could very well be neurogenic b/c symptoms started a within 12 months of that crash).

Wks 2-4:
200 test C
150 Primo
- blood draw to see where E2 and PSA are. Assume all good

Weeks 5-10:
250 test
200 Primo
20mg Var pre wo

Weeks 11-16:
250 test
200 Primo
70 tren A
10mg Winny

The only thing in this cycle I don't have experience in is Primo. From what Ive read DHT derivitives arent active in prostate, and theres human studies backing that on proviron - but not on mast or primo. So going to test it. Maybe surgery will be sooner, or maybe I can handle finasteride, or maybe ill get struck by lightening. Its all very exciting.

Backup plan if Primo doesn't agree is EQ.

Open to thoughts.

Potassium was high, bit only a little on last 2 months, and psa went from 1.1 to 1.4 on last 2 (psa ramge 0-4 is normal).

Symptoms, really bad urinary urgency and frequency (like every hour) and severe difficulty urinating.
Exam Prostate was normal size upon physical exam (no imaging) PSA was 1.1. Kidney function normal
Tx Plan: Flomax (tamsulosin) and observe
Result: urinary symptoms fixed. BUT the med is a selective alpha1A-adrenergic receptor antagonist, reducimg my max cardio capacity so racing pretty much became much more difficult (not being at full power).

2025 Dr Visit: scheduled kidney and prostate imaging. All markers on bloodwork look good. PSA is still low, especially knowing that sex and cycling will elevate it and Im doing alot of both (highest PSA was 1.4 in Jan/feb).

There's possibilities its not my prostate, but the fact that tamsulosin/flomax helped point back to prostate.

Will keep this updated. Maybe it can help someone.

Avg weight: 183 lbs
BF: about same
Diet: maintaining at 2400 kcal. 240 carbs/protein rest in fat. Some higher days, some lower days. Mostly clean
Training: did 5x5 for a month or so. Going back to PPL. Cardio is about 3-5hrs per week. Always a little something in the morning and started running some. Felt wierd at first b/c hip replacement, but getting better. Still VERY slow (~6mph) for 2 miles.

@Flash_is_Fast three to five hours of cardio is pretty good. I think it is definitely more than most people are getting so it's a great way to keep your heart strong.

Prostate is a big problem. I've read that half of men have some sort of cancer cells in their prostate. It's not something to mess with. I'm glad you're taking it seriously. @Flash_is_Fast

2025 Dr Visit: scheduled kidney and prostate imaging. All markers on bloodwork look good. PSA is still low, especially knowing that sex and cycling will elevate it and Im doing alot of both (highest PSA was 1.4 in Jan/feb).

There's possibilities its not my prostate, but the fact that tamsulosin/flomax helped point back to prostate.

Will keep this updated. Maybe it can help someone.

Avg weight: 183 lbs
BF: about same
Diet: maintaining at 2400 kcal. 240 carbs/protein rest in fat. Some higher days, some lower days. Mostly clean
Training: did 5x5 for a month or so. Going back to PPL. Cardio is about 3-5hrs per week. Always a little something in the morning and started running some. Felt wierd at first b/c hip replacement, but getting better. Still VERY slow (~6mph) for 2 miles.

But improve,ents despite fatigue and flowmax (which negatively effect cardiac output - garmin VO2 is using HR vs power meter, so data error is negligable - the changes are real).

@Flash_is_Fast Bros, the urinary thing is something we all got to deal with as men, very common. I had to get a couple things done for myself too.
 
Prostate update:

20211st exam (160mg TRT past 10 years, nothing fun just trt)
Symptoms, really bad urinary urgency and frequency (like every hour) and severe difficulty urinating.
Exam Prostate was normal size upon physical exam (no imaging) PSA was 1.1. Kidney function normal
Tx Plan: Flomax (tamsulosin) and observe
Result: urinary symptoms fixed. BUT the med is a selective alpha1A-adrenergic receptor antagonist, reducimg my max cardio capacity so racing pretty much became much more difficult (not being at full power).

Want some feedback on a summer cycle. Training will have work interruptions, but on the whole lifting will be consistent. Currently on week 2 of test at 350/wk. Body comp is good, carbs are coming up to 300+, fat intake is really low (sub50g most days)and strength is coming up.

Goal is grow - emphasis in order on upper chest, back thickness, arms calfs, forearms (so everything but disproportionately chest/upper chest). Split is dialed in. Ive learned lower volume works better for me. Cardio will be switching to a mix of sprints and long easy endurance rides when time permits. Lifting is priority though.

Influences:
Want to maintain good feeling b/c stress will be high from work and our daughter moving out

Cycle looks reasonable. If goal is growth did you consider EQ instead of Primo, and how long were you planning on the 350/140/140?

My worry is anxiety with other stressors - i don't think it would happen but if it does Im stuck for a few weeks - unless anxiety is really caused by low E and my shoulders will tell me real quick when that starts. Im still about 10-15 pounds under my max weight in my late 20's, if that matters (think that was the 200/200 test/eq run) hardest Ive gone was 575 tren/week solo. Most cycles under 500mg. Like 100 test/350 winny (all time favorite - winny kicks the dog shit outta var - like tren versus test kicks its ass).

but masteron and primo dont need to be stacked, i think eq is better for you

300mgs test 50mgs of eq to start with proviron and anavar could be a cycle but again need some udpates
