The internet is a horribly toxic place, social media is trash and designed to invoke a negative response and is horrible for your attention span, other bodybuilding communities have some good people and some assholes at different ratios. Here at EVO I havent seen a single asshole, its all love. Everyone here wants everyone here to be at their best and to get there safely.

Yeah it’s just some Amazon scale that tracks the bodyfat % but these things are terrible man, I can put on 10lbs water weight on a weekend and it jumps 4% lol. Just go off measurements and the mirror. Unless your trying to compete I don’t care if I’m 18 or 16 I just know I want to drop fat and when I’m happy I’ll start to bulk until I’m unhappy and then rinse and repeat lol.

Thanks for the props man, this place and making a log is a major help in getting a push. You should start one, no matter where you’re at, people here will be happy to help and push ya to your goals. I hesitated forever but I’m now going why didn’t I start sooner?

Arimidex is crazy strong .25 had my e2 at 30, just taking once a week. aromasin eod might be a better bet

Yeah I was thinking of making another @OxygenPharm order, was hoping to get some Mast but they are sold out at the moment. Anything else you recommend I have on hand? I was thinking some anavar, with the test at 350 like you were saying with aromasin, is that the cycle you were thinking for me? Any other compounds I should think about getting for future cycles or anything, sorry for all the questions man, but appreciate ya.👊

I found melatonin puts me to sleep, but it doesn't keep me asleep, and the same thing would happen (wake up 4/5 hours later)

Once I combined the melatonin with cbd , that kept me asleep

carbs are good almost 400 push it up a bit :D and clean bench 145s on inclines!
 
Do you have a wind down routine before sleep? Or at least put the phone away for an hour before bed? I find when I have these poor-sleep discussions with people, often I hear that they doom scroll around bedtime etc which is a recipe for restlessness.
Thanks for the reminder man, I’m usually in bed about 30-40 minutes before I want to sleep, usually put on a show and stay off the phone, at least social media. My issue isn’t falling asleep, I sleep like a baby for about 5 hours and then I wake up to just a drive to get up. My brain just like springs awake and starts running like a meth addict looking for a fix lol.

I personally dont do well with thc, just cbd for sleep, but im hearing good things about cbn and will try thst soon.

No Shit! Thats cool, I've had good success with CBN and CBD together. I just never think of it until sleeps really bad lol, so thanks for the reminder.
 
Sleep is so important that it had to become part of the routine, I also take a medication for ptsd nightmares that lowers blood pressure, that helps with the sleep as well
I know man, it’s my biggest bottle neck, I’m not sure what else do to, I just keep trying shit but getting more then 6-6.5 hours even on weekends is a struggle for me.
 
Check out them protein numbers too😉 feeling good on 220 protein and probably 300-400 carbs just worried I’ll slow down the fat loss too much but maybe that’s better for a recomp approach and will come out the other end better off…?🤔🤷‍♂️
they are good protein and high carbs can slow down fat loss but we should push up training and cardio :D

Hit some PR’s, felt strong today, surprised myself on preachers by turning the dial the wrong way, thought it was 70 until after the set and saw 80 lol. Ended with some 15lb weighted decline sit ups to kill the abs.

2026 Recomp (maybe weight loss first) / Lean Bulk Log

Current Stats/History


Want to start out by saying I’m pretty new to all this and don’t have a fucking clue what I’m doing compared to some people on here but I’m constantly trying to learn more and increase my knowledge every day and am open to any and all feedback anyone cares to give, it’s all appreciated and needed to progress. I’m starting a log after some pushing from @HarleyGuy and @LevButlerov, so shout out to them, and especially @HarleyGuy for taking the time to answer my dm’s and help me sort this out.


  • History: I was 215 lbs in Jan. 2023 (photos below) after living my late 20's and early 30's like an asshole, went on a 5 month mission to lose weight and got down to about 160 lbs (photos below) and went up and down a little from there, working out at home and doing some cardio, then at some point in early 2024 joined a gym and have been going ever since but only got serious about tracking workouts and lifts in 2026. In 2025 I got my blood work done for TRT and my test was 3.8 nmol/L, so I made the call to just get on TRT as there wasn't much hope of making a meaningful increase naturally. I'm a Type 1 diabetic and have been since I was 15 years old. Also have psoriatic arthritis but have that completely under control now.
  • Current Stats (photos below):
  • Age: 39
  • Height: 5’-6”
  • Weight: 155lbs
  • Estimated Body Fat: 18-20%
  • Training Experience: 2-3 years (1/2 a year tracking lifts and progression)
  • TRT or Previous Cycle History: TRT for a little over a year with some TRT+ moments but not “real” cycles to speak of.

Goals (looking for some help here)
  • Main goal: I’m looking to the more experienced loggers for help here, whether I should cut on TRT (175mg a week at the moment) to 10-12% and then run a cycle and slow bulk, or run a re-comp cycle, eating around maintenance calories trying to get my BF% down while maintaining my weight and then bulk down the road.
  • Target body fat: 10-12%
  • Target weight: 170lbs after cutting down and then bulking and cutting again ideally. I know this will take some time and maybe need to break up my goals but that’s the long term vision.

Current Training Split (Workouts are in the morning)

  • Legs (Quad focused)
  • Pull (Lat width focused)

For sure, the sleep is my biggest bottleneck, trying things, really don’t want to resort to a RX solution, messing around with different combos of vitamins and such. Thanks for coming along man, I’m following yours too, impressive progress man.🫡 My job helps with getting the steps in, probably 8k are walking around the shop. I try to hit 20-30 min of 10-12% incline walking after lifting, and then dog walks after work help too.

Recovery / Health: Recovery has been good, have a bit of an old tendon issue in my left elbow but I’m working on it, considering trying bpc/tb500.


Sleep: Not the greatest but have some life shit going on that’s probably only going to get worse and never sleep as good on the cut.


Glucose/insulin sensitivity: good control of my blood sugars this week and high insulin sensitivity from hard workouts and more steps

Good advice
For sure, always working on this one, I know it’s so crucial but it’s my biggest struggle. I just lost my uncle to a heart attack and my gramps to old age in like a 2 week span. Throw in the pressures of my job as a shop manager and the family life and shit, it’s a wonder I can sleep the 5 hours or so I do some days. That’s life I guess but fuck it’s frustrating when the brain just won’t shut up some days. Even when shits going smooth I’m lucky to get 6-7 hours.

you should look at DSIP. you might really like it @abaltered it's supposed to make you feel like you slept longer.

Yeah I'm doing what I can to get those hours up, its always been a mother fucker for me to get enough. Outside of my 20's my sleeps always been shit, I don't have classic sleep apnea symptoms, but considering doing a sleep test maybe just to rule it out.

Haha thanks man, just trying to improve every day, had some recent loss that's affecting the mood, but with some time, it'll come back. Onward and upward always, just trying to stay positive and progress.

Thanks man, the gym is a little break from the chaos so I just embrace the hour of peace and fucking give er. Excited to come back and start the new log.

Yeah I’m heading to Cabo for a week as of Wednesday but it’s on my order list for when I get back. Need to find a source in Canada for it.
