Approved Log My TRT cycle log

No, I am not saying that. I made an association then a decision. For sure I am not comfortable at below 120 or even consistently at that BP. I believe over the years I believe I had minor symptoms of vertigo a few times, perhaps. Then nothing for at least 1.5 yrs.
When I got the one for sure vertigo attack my BP was consistently lower and when I started investigating online that lower pressure can influence symptoms. I then made the decision to monitor and within a day decided that it would be in better interest to go off my Ramipril.
The severity and how I felt I needed that to change. So I began to take actions.
After the Vertigo passed I have monitored and so the pressure is still better that it has been for years. My Vertigo has not returned and so I am going to stay this course. I have a doctor appt. on 1st week of May and I will proceed from there.
sure as long as no vertigo lets keep going :D update diet training please and supps @MTB

Been 5 weeks since I posted. Reason being that my exercise was kept back due to right shoulder.
I also scaled back my TRT dose. At 175 per 9 days. This gives me a weekly avg of about 140. So this is for the last 4 weeks at this PUR Pharma Test Enanthate. They definitely have quality test.
I am able to do dumbbell press now and standing dumbbell curls with light weight slow reps. I do a circuit with calves raises, single arm dumbbell curls then heavier left dumbbell curls lying on the bed. Triceps extensions and/or press. Then back to calves raises.
Yesterday and today was able to really get my HR up higher and this is of course rewarding psychologically.
I can do this circuit multiple days in a row as it is not too muscular fatiguing because I do not go to failure.
I have decided to separate my legs to 2 days per week. I will do bodyweight squats on one days and the lunge type on the other. The lunges are deeper and create longer recovery so I will have 4 days then do squats with 3 days recovery after that. So, 2 leg days per week. These get me pumped and the HR totally up there
My lunges have improved so I can touch my knee when I go down on both sides. My right femur has been broken 2X in my life so it has always given me challenges and is shorter than my left. I can do 15 reps left and 10 reps right and a few halves to make 12. They bothered my back at first and I went too low and pulled my inner right thigh but that has since healed.
So, I am back to being able to push a little more.
I am also walking a little farther outside to get sun, down at the marsh. My Vitamin D was incredible low on my blood test. I was also very dehydrated I went for a Dr appointment, and he only tells me now and my tests were actually in December. Like 5 months later. He sent me for tests but didn't check when the results came in, he waited until I had my next appointment. Back then I had bad night sweats. I think it was the bad test junk I was getting from other source. I have since thrown out the 10 bottles. I had from 2 different online distributors, and I didn't keep them separate so I have no idea which was which and so I chucked it all.
So, I am getting things sorted out.
Can't stress enough how happy I am to get on to the approved sources here. You guys are really on top.

For Supps I have a Vitamin D script for 1000iu 2 per day. I take one vitamin E 400iu per week, one VitC 500mg per day. I take tablespoon of Psyllium husk 3-4X per day. I am still on the chicken, tuna salmon, beef. for protein. Carbs is potatoes and limited whole grain bread. I usually eat peanuts or peanut butter every day. Oats 2X per day and maybe one scoop whey vanilla protein powder split with the 2X oats for flavor. In the morning I have one boiled egg with my oats.
I eat one carrot and one onion per day and often turnip.
At about noon I eat a salad of sorts every day with green bell pepper, sweet peppers, cucumber and tomato diced. With hot sauce or hot peppers.
My weight remains about 186-189 even though I drink water often throughout the day now. I usually boil my hamburger in patties and they make a great sandwich or just alone with mustard and the salad.
I was initially using assistance for the lunges and putting my hands on two armchairs for balance, and actually was doing 50 reps but a lot assisted and pulled something in my ribs. It took 2 weeks for the rib issue to fade out. I went to completely unassisted and so my reps are between 10-15 but are much better quality.
I had follow up blood test to check my hydration and VitaD but that was 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back.
If things keep improving I may start walking some hills are very close by. I may even try out the bike again. I have a Trek Fatbike., the 9.8 full carbon 25lbs w/the pedals. If the lunges keep improving, I will definitely give it a go.

@MTB man, right shoulder injuries are super common. Unfortunately it's something you're going to have to continue to work around. I'd recommend working on your mobility.

Sometimes when you go in for blood work and you're dehydrated, your kidney numbers can definitely be off. It's happened to me before. @MTB

Another excellent update. I'm proud of you. @MTB I agree with you. Sometimes these doctors don't give a shit at all about informing you of stuff like that.

@MTB hills are actually a really good idea. You're fighting gravity. It can be a very effective way to get in a great workout in a short amount of time.

Bros, your training gets better and better. I like that your lunges are getting better and that you can touch the knee when you go down on both sides. That means you're building better flexibility too. @MTB

After reading this and everything else about him, get a new doc (serious).
You can do private bloods yourself too and circumvent the BS that is that quack of a doc as well.

My regular doc retired early due to illness. I was lucky to get one after one year wait. I am still on the list but it is a long list. Things are really bad up here. last year the pain clinic called to follow up on my back and so they were updating and eliminating many. They said that half of the wait list was removed but also there were some had been waiting since 2018. So that was last year in 2025.
I did tests again about 3 weeks ago now. Usually that would mean everything is OK but with him I don't know.
I went in for the vertigo issue and that was when he decided to look at the tests he sent me for begin of Dec. or very late Nov.
Our hospital emergency has a usual 12 hour wait. The nurse told me last time that is because we are so short of Dr., that patients come in with multiple probs and the Dr treats all the problems where normal emergency would just be for the one emergency thing

This is really sad bro I just gave my last bloodwork to my TRT clinic today only to renew my Rx Testosterone one last time and now I'm so done with them. I'm self TRT for life as of now they don't even check my estradiol to compare with my Total T (nor do they check my free T either!!), and they're supposed to be a TESTOSTERONE therapy clinic (like a specialty clinic!!). Wild eh?

Yeah, we best take care of ourselves. I heard the TRT clinic is not cheap either.
This new Doc has been a Doc for about 20yrs and has some sort of beauty/laser clinic. Nothing but ads for machines and vanity procedures in his wait room. He just recently started taking on new patients. The last wait there were 2 other patients and they thought he was odd and were complaining that we are only allowed to talk about one thing per visit. It is actually a rule he put on paper and gives you.
In our emergency room at the hospital there is a sign that it is against the rules to ask how long to see a doctor.
Free health care

@MTB good to see you back.....

Sunday, May 31
Today went well, I know I had a great legs day when I fall asleep right after.
So I split my legs into 2 days. Today was lunge type stationary because stepping forward with my right leg to transition is still too difficult. Also when I do my last lunge and need to bring my left to stand my lower back is very unstable. My left is no problem.

Thursday was body weight squats for 6 sets of 50 after warm up of 20 = 40:00

Friday was biceps, triceps extensions calves raise circuit. With easier right curls because of shoulder issue
50 calves raise
Biceps standing dumbbell left and right.
100 calves raises
lying dumbbell curls left arm then triceps extension both arms equal amount

Saturday same as Friday except instead of triceps extensions I do dumbbell press

I don't go to failure so I can do the similar work multiple days in a row. I had no shoulder pain other than what is already bothering me.
I am doing light dumbbell press.
Saturday I also went for a walk to the bottom of a very steep hill and the walk was conversation pace but still faster than usual= 32:00

Sunday
20 Squat wm up, then 10 lunges 3/4 deep
Then 4 sets of 15 for left and 12 for the right.= 43:00
I felt definitely fatigued as I maintained balance and went to knee touch each rep
The glutes pump and thigh pump was nice feeling. If I wait between each set I can do things better.
I will walk later

I plan to repeat my circuit for Tuesday/ Wednesday as the same as my Friday Saturday routine and back to bodyweight squats for Thursday.

So day 1 is Thursday
Th= squats
Friday= circuit
Sat= circuit
Sun= Lunges
Mon= Off
Tues= Circuit
Wed= Circuit

For food today was my usual psyllium Husk before 1cup oats and one egg
Lunch= psyllium powder then can tuna with a salad of mixed sweet bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, green bell peppers and hot sauce with some tortilla chips.
Psyllium powder and cup of oats with protein powder for snack
Chicken leg quarter, no skin, with potatoes carrots green beans and an onion for dinner
Psyllium powder then oats and protein powder for nighttime

I love how you are able to put in so many squats, the movement alone is a king of movements!

I probably should have mentioned the circuit is repeated 4-8 times in a session. It depends on how fast the sets go. I can do 50 calve raises or up to 300. So at 50 raises per minute then it can vary from 1 minute to 5 minutes.
As well depending on how I squeeze at the top my standing dumbbell curls can be 30-60 reps
I go by time so at 30 minutes I stop.

The difference was immediate.
My stool was too runny and too often. I thought I had hemorrhoids the last few years. It was acidic and was burning my sphincter, or something. Swollen and making it difficult. I thought I had serious hems but they are non existent now. The Hem cream wasn't working, no wonder.
Kinda gross to mention but I wish I knew about psyllium sooner. I haven't applied cream since the 2nd day.
I saw Metamucil but I thought it was to give bowel movements and I was already having too many. I hadn't looked at it properly.
So I take the psyllium almost every time but not a full tablespoon. It also helps me from eating too much. I feel full with a lot less food.
I go through it fast and order the 2lbs X 2 from amazon, should last a month or a little more.

Yes, very helpful. I had discomfort to say the least. I was not getting much relief from PreparationH or other brands. I thought I would need medical procedure. But it wasn't even that. LOL.
Also I don't feel bloated anymore, or pass a lot of gas. My entire digestion is improved by leaps and bounds.
My stomach used to make a lot of noise, especially after eating.
I had tried pepto B and Tums and other antacids and was not helping.
My situation was likely contributing to dehydration. The unhealthy gut had my digestive large intestine aggravated and swollen it won't absorb nutrients and water. I was seeing undigested food. Those foods I stopped eating them, because they didn't seem to digest.
Like I ate mushrooms everyday, then they came out chewed up but not digested. I loved mushrooms. I should buy some and see what happens

i'm happy to see psyllium husk helped you :D @MTB you're a perfect case for it

Yeah, I had thought about it over the years but when you mentioned it I thought just try it out. You posted about gut health and mentioned a few things. So, thanks it was something I needed.
happy it helped :D we are going to do a mega thread on psyllium

Waiting for my Oxygen Delivery. Test Enanthate. I am going to pin 175-200mg today as it is 10 days since my last pin. I would say I am trough a little, but my mood and libido still good. 10 days for 200 would be 140/week If I draw 175 I will go 9 days. I have hard time to be exact as I bought syringes that are 3ml and is difficult to be exact.
Hospital called I do three morning urine samples 3 days in a row. I can't call back as was a private number and they are not open Saturday. So I called my Dr and he rescheduled for next week. Dr. supposed to call me later as to why. I also requested the results of my heart ultrasound because the Dr. who ordered it didn't call me back, he also stated as he was not my Dr., he usually can't get the results, which seems odd as he is a specialist. I am suspicious because I took labs 5 months before and they didn't call me regarding my critical dehydration and super low Vitamin D.
So I did a test walk for my back up to the hills last day of may and had no issues. So June1st started walking steep hills. Repeated on June 2nd.
Come back home and immediately do my biceps dumbbell curls and lying triceps extensions for 6 sets. I do 6 X curls and 3Xtriceps/ 3Xdumbell press. High reps no failure for a daily routine.
Until I become anatomically adapted the walking steep hills is harder than squats, or just different animal, I guess. I can feel the cardio stress.
So instead of circuit I am going to walk the 2 hills then do my biceps, triceps/press.
Yesterday was 32:00 for the walk and 30:00 for the weights.
Today I will just walk in the afternoon sun. tomorrow is squats day.
Thursday-squats easy walk.
Friday- hard hills walk biceps triceps/press
Saturday-hard hills maybe try third hill and biceps-triceps/press
Sunday-lunges, easier walk
Mon,Tues,wed- hard walk with biceps-triceps/press
If the walking/ weights becomes too much, I will just get out for an easy walk and skip a day of the weights
Breakfast was psyllium husk, one egg and oats with a bit of protein powder for flavor.
Lunch will be psyllium husk then beef sandwich with whole grains bread and a salad of bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and hot sauce.
Dinner will be chicken, onions, carrots, and some potatoes.
Nighttime will be psyllium husk then oats and scoop protein powder.

Urine samples are a follow up from about 2.5 weeks ago, I guess. The Doc's office was supposed to call me back. There was a private number I missed while walking. I didn't take my phone.
Imagine they will call tomorrow. If not, I will call and also I will ask at the lab when I go.
Today was 3rd day walking on the steep hills and did a repeat on the steepest hill. Is only 3 min. climb. Was thinking I just might do repeats there.
My calves are hurting. My right ham is somewhat slightly pulled, really stiff anyway. I also have shin splints.
It is all manageable though and is a good feeling. Tomorrow I will just do squats, of course I say that now. I guess we are getting 30 degrees tomorrow. I was quite a bit faster walking today, so I added a hill repeat.

Bros, amazing work on this. Lunges are not easy to do and I like the Saturday workout too. That's some good weekend commitment. @MTB

It all sounds off. Do you need to call them and see which monkey is running the circus?

Thursday, June 4th/26
well, I just got off the phone with my Doctor.
I have a lot of things going on that don't look good. I need to get a lot of tests.
So yesterday TRT dose of 200mg will be my last for awhile. I will just post updates after this on my situation. I am sure I will restart in a few months but would be at very low doses.
I will continue to exercise.
He looked back over tests from my last doctor and my heart ultrasound from Last Oct/Nov from a specialist.
We don't have good healthcare in this region but my new doctor is moving on this.
So blood in the urine is better but he is looking into a spot on my left kidney from the CT scan over one year ago. I also had a CT on my lungs well over a year ago that showed an anomaly.
My heart ultrasound showed a slightly enlarged heart and a slower part; I forget what he said.
So off to the specialists I will go.
I was out on my fat bike in Jan 2021 and I felt something in my lung. Nobody could find anything, I presented for tests 2022-2023, results are showing something is there. The pain I was experienced in my lungs has disappeared since then. However I have blood in my phlegm at time, that as well has improved
My Hematocrits are a bit high and went up since last Nov.
Anyway, I need to reset
