Caffeine and Anxiety disorder

Can taking too much caffeine give me anxiety? It feels like every time in the last few months that I take a preworkout with a lot of caffeine I can't stop shaking and I feel anxious as hell. Like literally physical anxiety!
 
The side effects you are experiencing are actually pretty common from stimulant usage. Stimulants can cause anxiety, jitters, insomnia and so on. They stimulate an artificial fight or flight response by the adrenal glands.

It's not the pre-workout itself that is causing the problem, it's the stimulants in the pre-workout supplement. Either switch to a stimulant free pre-workout like Dpsark from n2bm.com or stop taking pre-workout supplements all together. It is a big misconception that you need a pre-workout drink. Eat a proper meal 60-90 minutes before your workout. That is the best thing you can do to get a great pump and sustained energy throughout your workout.

Before each of my workouts, I like to mix whey protein isolation from n2bm.com in a bowl of oatmeal with some flax seeds.

Being properly hydrated and eating a proper pre-workout meal is what is going to give you a great pump. Not some fancy NO drink.
 
This is well possible, since anxiety is very closely related to stimulants, so if you use those, you can easily get this condition. If you already have anxiety issues, or you feel like you could get them, better avoid using stims for good. This would mean not drinking coffee, and not using stim-based preworkout supplements and fat burners. Luckily, there are plenty of alternatives for those preworkouts. For example, there is DSpark - this preworkout supplement has no stims at all, so there will be no side effects with it. Yet, it gives great energy, which is why I use it all the time. Also, you should eat a proper meal an hour before working out - this will also greatly contribute to the quality of your workout.
 
yes caffeine is something that should not be used as a pick me up for workouts. the bad thing is it's negative effects on your sleep

if you must drink your 'morning coffee' then go for it but don't over do it and keep it early. yes a lot of us have families and jobs that require us to be up early so that is part of life

and if you want a healthier option, go to a spanish store and get yerba mate, it has more health benefits.
 
You call it anxiety, I call it caffeine overdosing.

Try to use something without stims. A lot of people recommend DSpark here, but its very difficult to get it nowadays
 
This is absolutely from all the caffeine you are consuming. I say the same thing about any supplement/compound.......if you take it and it makes you feel bad then don't take it. Why would you want to feel anxious during a workout? Sounds like you need a break from stimulants.

Try to Eliminate the Caffeine in Stages, and you will feel much better in no time at all.
