Blood Work Terrible sides on Deca test cycle

wannabe jacked

V.I.P.
EVO Logger
Hey guys I've been avoiding this post purely as I know I stuffed up. But I feel I should post it if not for help now but maby to help somebody else. I started test 22 weeks ago at 400mg per week mixed ester single injection. I ran this for 8 weeks. Feeling amazing. The reason I started looking into this is due to a crippling back injury that was lingering there was some bulging discs , narrowing and basic disc degeneration. And I've read study's that showed this could be helpful. After finishing the first vial a product supplied to me by a mate I could no longer source this and I stumbled upon Evo. I found a verified source on here and after a 2 week break I continued on with 500mg of test split two injections per week. The following week I added in 200mg of Deca in a single injection per week. Everything seemed sweet and I was on appetite through the roof. Weight gain solid and back pain next to gone. I'd gone from been chair ridden. To doing 40 push ups a morning and slowly adding more and more exercises with a goal in mind of getting into the gym and fixing what has been an ongoing issue for years. 5 weeks into this routine literally overnight everything changed. Anxiety through the roof panick attacks. Insomnia. Sinus issues and feeling like I was literally about to die. I didn't sleep for a week straight. Which resulted in me freaking out and ditching the Deca. I continued with 500mg test for another week and symptoms stayed the same. Almost no sleep and terrible anxiety appetite absolutely tanked leading to nilly a suicidal state of mind. Just wanting it to end. I further lowered test to 250mg per week and slowly over the next 3 weeks symptoms settled.i started to realise how much water retention I had and I finally went and had bloods which I definitely should of done earlier. And as suspected my hormones are shot. Suprisingly I feel everything else wasn't too bad. My doctor is suggesting just stopping all together but I'm worried this might cause more dramas and I feel that there was a point where I felt amazing and would like to be back there. I'm a little lost at moving forward and appreciate any advice. Full well knowing I went wrong not running an ai. And bloods alot earlier.

Thanks for posting this! Your bloodwork didn’t look that bad to me. High prolactin and high e2. I also don’t like deca mental side effects, and I get them without high prolactin.

You can solve the high e2 with aromasin, and unfortunately the only thing that improves the deca brain for me is time. Takes a good few weeks at least.

But don’t despair and don’t panic! I got into this stuff by and by from herniated discs too.

This isn’t that bad, it can totally be resolved, and you can improve your situation safely.

You should start a log. That’s how we can see what all is going on and how to help you get this right. 💪

Thanks for the replies guys. It certainly helps to know it can just happen the time for it to settle has been hard work. Especially back at work. Feeling quite weak definitely don't have the strength I had 5 weeks ago. And struggling to eats not helping either. I definitely have thought of a log. I was tracking pretty well up untill the no sleep. My brain just hasn't been there untill the last couple of days. Slowly but surely it's improving. The first 2 weeks where definitely the worse and to be honest quite unsettling.

How have you found the back issues since ? I've noticed alot of aching since stopping the Deca im assuming more side effects then anything else. As it hasn't gone on me and it was a weekly occurrence at one point. It's a scary thing because I want to push and train it but so worried about breaking myself more. Is there anything in particular you found helped the most ?

Is npp. Much different in effects Or it just leaves the system quicker ? I'm assuming all nor 19 would hold the same mental effects or is that not correct ?

I don’t handle Deca well. Mental and libido/ED issues for me. Same with NPP it just resolves quicker due to short ester. Ironically Tren has the opposite effect and I handle small doses just fine despite also being a 19-nor. Go figure.

Well. It hasn’t been very long. Your doctor might be right. You should stop, at least for now. You jumped into this quite unprepared and although steroids may help some, you can’t take 700mg a week forever, and when you inevitably hurt yourself further you can’t just keep taking more.

Npp did the same thing to me. It happened faster though. As I recall, I didn’t really feel better faster. It still took weeks.

Two things did the most for my degenerative disc disease, arthritis and other injuries. Low inflammatory food and plenty of sleep.

If you smoke, drink, eat much junk food at all, this is all low hanging fruit.

Yeah my diet is average. Not much junk tho I don't drink but I do smoke weed have done since I was 13. And I'm now 37. So I experience major inflammation and depressive state when I try to quit. I've come to the conclusion I do better on it. I've definitely cut back tho. Diet is something I was focussing on up untill a month ago. I'm currently trying to focus on sleep and food. And while I'm having bloods monitoring I was hoping to find my trt dosage. I'm down to 200mg per week. And this week would be 150 but if I'm not going to experience sides and I'm better off just stopping completely and seeing where my levels return to. I'm happy to do that.

It’s just impossible to say. We are all different. In order for anyone to help you truly put the pieces of your puzzle together in a way that fits, you can’t just vaguely describe the pieces. We need to see all of the pieces. And try to fit them together, in an organized and methodical way. That’s what a log on EVO is.

I hope that makes sense

I definitely have thought of a log.
Here ya go bro... you have enough going on, clearly knowledge to share and you can write up a storm well so you'd be a great logger!
We can help you with your sleep as well, it's almost a guarantee.

I'd really like to see your log bro.

HOW and WHY TO LOG?

Why is a Log Journal important?
Accountability, self esteem, and consistency all which lead to RESULTS!

Authoring a log will actually help you way more than just dropping random updates. When you lay it all out week by week you start to see patterns in your body that you won’t catch otherwise.
Other guys here run logs all the time and there’s no privacy issue, nobody is asking for your name or anything personal, it is just training, diet, and how the compound feels.
The feedback you get is also way better because people can follow along and spot things you might miss. It also helps the next guy who is thinking about running the same compound so you are giving back while you learn.
Even if you think you might not stick with it, just starting the log makes it easier to come back and add quick notes. That way you get more out of what you are running instead of keeping it all in your head.

To really guide you we need more info from you:
Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread using a full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
It will take 15-20 minutes max.
We have 100's of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
Please post a Log Journal ASAP for us

There has been almost a quarter million members on here and almost two million posts with over a thousand podcasts so your Log Journal will be taken care of here! Evolutionary.org is the most visited steroid community in the world (fact!).

Do you still want to have kids? I recommend becoming as learned as possible on steroids in this order:

  1. PCT (after steroid usage how can you come off in a healthy way to get your natural test, hormones and HPTA back up and running)
  2. Diet/Supps (we must see you have this dialed in with the proper macros, calories and supplements specific to your goal)
  3. Training (we need to make sure you're training is consistent and proper)
  4. Steroids (then, if you trust this forum which you should, we will get you squared away for a proper cycle suited and tailored to you)

Deca or NPP will NOT fix degenerative discs
I fully understand that. I started the testosterone for the purpose of sustaining my back from getting worse. There's lots of studies supporting this. I added the Deca more as an appetite stimulant and to ease joint pain both of which was achieved. It's a shame the mental sides don't out weigh the gains. 12 months ago I would of told you I'll be in a wheel chair. I've been a tradie all my life 10 years on the roof destroyed my body along with a lack of care and responsibility. I'm currently in the glazing Industry which when it comes to lifting is not much better. I've made considerable improvements in the last 6 months to the point I'm hard at it back on the tools. My back pain is there and I have to be cautious but it's 1000% to what it was the steroids may not be a fix but they certainly helped kick off a change. I feel I probably suffered with low t before as I've had improvements in all areas of my life since starting it. Up untill everything went pair shaped 5 weeks ago. My sex life , mood , anger issues , back pain have all improved a lot. There was a lot of thought that went into starting testosterone I just wish I had learnt more about it before jumping in guns blazing

You're been in the EVO family for a while :D @wannabe jacked so you know a log is a must if you want actual answers right?
Running 400 to 500 mg test then adding 200 mg Deca without labs or an AI is exactly how estrogen and prolactin get out of control, and the anxiety, insomnia, water retention and panic you describe fit high e2 and elevated prolactin perfectly.
Also ferritin is low which can worsen anxiety, poor sleep and feeling wrecked, so this is not just one hormone but a full systemic mess that needs sorting properly.
off the top i would lower the doses to TRT and sort this mess first imo

Right now guessing changes is dangerous, you need to post full proper log with current dose, food, bodyweight, sleep, blood pressure and symptoms day to day.
Without that the EVO family is blind, and if you actually want to get back to feeling good instead of crashing again, the log is non negotiable. 15min of your time!

Let me answer the first part of your post and tell you that steroids aren't going to cure a bulging disc. The only thing that can cure a bulging disc is laying off of it. This means changing up the way you train and doing a lot of stretching and hot yoga. That is going to be the best thing for it. Don't use steroids and don't train anything that aggravates the disc.

Yep. Stop everything. Do weeks (I've had to do this) of back supportive therapy. Then ease back into training.

keep in mind the studies that you refer to are people who run a TRT dose who have existing low testosterone levels. It's not saying that you should ramp up your testosterone levels or hop on steroids that they're gonna help. A lot of people make the mistake of not understanding the difference between the anabolic steroids and catabolic steroids. They're two different things.

Gotta keep in mind too bro, that decca is a slow builder bro.
Takes a minute to build up in the system and show its colours to ya.

I personally found when id come off it I had depression and anxiety symptoms, on it fine as but the come down was shithouse.

Ive got friends the same as you though. It really highlights to us we've gotta remember that case studys and notes are individually based.
We take what literature we can but at the end of the day every person is different

Ive got another close mate waiting on a knee replacement- decca for him keeps him walking pain free with no side effects.

Sorry you felt this way bro. Gald it worked, but hitting ya with the back hander man that sucks.

Maybe, just maybe, let the nandrolone leave your system and try a lower dose?

I spent 3 months couch ridden and this was exactly what I did. Things have improved because I couldn't go a week with out throwing it out.

I thought about this. Starting at like 60mg. But I think I'm too worried about the sides now. It may not be for me. Or maby I just need guidance. Either way the focus is on returning to normal levels and getting right before considering another run

Yeah I get that. I've been offered all the injections and epidural. So I understand the catabolic steroids. I've definitely read some studies with higher dose testosterone these are not clinical how ever.

I'm a little lost at moving forward and appreciate any advice. Full well knowing I went wrong not running an ai. And bloods alot earlier.
At the end of the day, certain people react a certain way to different steroids. Some people love DECA and some people don't. You have to be your own doctor when it comes to deciding what to use going forward.

Bros, this is going to happen sometimes with people. You want to be careful. If you're getting bad anxiety and no sleep, then that's a problem. I think it might be because you're sensitive to 19 nors.

At the end of the day some compounds don't agree with people. In your case you can get all the blood work you want. At the end of the day whether the blood work is good or bad it's not going to matter. If something doesn't agree with you it doesn't agree with you.

Running progestogenic compounds alongside a moderate dose of Test with no AI will do this brother! Like you already said.

If health markers are fine and 200-250mg/ week is tolerable for you (you're no longer experiencing any side effects), then you can continue running this dose, which will still help plenty for managing/ improving your injuries.

If you'd like a bit more of a boost to injury recovery then you might consider adding in some GH. Bio-identical, generally well tolerated when tapered in properly, and can work wonders for old injuries.

BPC/ TB500 at the site as well.

Proper nutrition and HYDRATION!

When you're ready to cycle again bro make sure you get some proper guidance! Glad you're feeling better now!
